I like to be the boss, always in control. I believe everything comes with a price tag. And when I say everything, I mean – EVERYTHING. A Virgin Auction? I find the whole idea distasteful. Until I see her… This evening is all about payback.
Lily steps onto the stage dressed barely, in a little black dress. It dips to show her full juicy cleavage. The type that I love to suck and the hips that I love to have grinding up and down against me. With a single glimpse of the innocent girl, I’ve suddenly forgotten about revenge and payback. Tonight, is about winning Lily. Owning Lily. I must confess that I love the look on my enemy’s face as I lead Lily away. And just one night with her is enough for me to realise that I can't get enough of her. The innocent girl is a balm that heals my soul. She is a promise that cures me of the darkness that's been buried inside of me for so long. But Lily has secrets of her own and the secrets that bind us could end up tearing us apart. I have a choice. And the price I must pay will cost far more than the winning bid…
Every time I pick up one of this author's books she gives WOW a new meaning as with this amazing journey. These characters had me at paragraph one and held me till the very last word was written. This book is sexy hot and will make you want to scream in major places and ring their necks in others.
A fast and enjoyable read that will leave you hot.
**I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Readers Copy of this book** While I enjoy a lot of Amy Brent's books, this is not one of them. The plot had potential at first, there was a connection between Blake and Lilly building, but it never pulled together. And, the subplot with Blake's dad, what the heck was that all about. I get it helped Lilly's brother, but seriously, that was it for me. Sorry, no bueno.
The blurb and idea of this book caught my attention, Lily is a virgin and sells herself to help get her and her family help, all's gonna end up roses right? Well, when two people get together as explosively as Lily and Blake do, it's bound to be a wet ride. Some of the plot had me questioning the reasons why we were reading about them. But if the author thought it was important to the plot then I am following, Slowly but following.
First of all, the spelling, grammar, punctuation; the entire proofreading process was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! There were sentences that had missing words, extra words in a sentence that didn't belong nor make sense, she used wrong names for the characters, and used he, she, that, them, etc. Wrong throughout sentences as well.
Secondly, all of the men in each story are controlling, some way or another they end up hurting the leading women in some way or. Yet each woman immediately accepts their apology with the man no groveling needed. No matter how badly they were hurt.
If these changes were made, my rating would definitely change.
This so called book is something that evidently was put together in a hurry. It is full of errors and unfinished sentences; Chapter 2 was repeated in Chapter 3; many words were misused as if the writer didn't know their meaning... and the list is long and frustrating. I couldn't read further than Chapter 5, it's that bad. I sincerely wish that I bothered to read reviews prior to purchasing this book. What a waste of time and money! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I really don't know how anyone gave this more than 2 stars. The premise is one I really enjoy but this book is terribly written and not edited at all. Chapter 3 is exactly the same as chapter 2 so we miss a huge part of Lily getting to the auction. Everything is jumbled and a lot of it made very little sense, so much so that I quit in the middle of chapter 5. I will probably be avoiding any future stiff from this writer.
It really wasn't her best work. There were so many inconsistencies and grammatical errors, that I had trouble getting through the story. Sometimes I didn't even know who was speaking so the conversation didn't even make sense. "Why do you need the money?" She told you 3 times already! Geez Blake! I've loved her previous works but this one needs to go back to the drawing board. The story premise was great, but I'm giving this 3 stars.
This was a great read, I couldn't put it down. The characters are great, Lily is a naive 19 year old and Blake is a bit naive himself. You can tell from the beginning he hasn't found his place yet and is going along with whatever his father tells him to. Blake and Lily are great together. When Lily goes to the auction house, she never expected to fall in love, but Blake never expected to find out everything he has about his family. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

❤ {.English Review.}❤ ★★★★★ (5 stars) Awsome! I loved it. At the begining you can think about a type of story, but all will change. The story have a lot of thing you can like: s*x, love, murders, secrets, cheating,… I finished it in two days because I couldn’t stop to read it!! The story is amaizing! Lily has a problem. Well, her brother is who has the real problem because he’s in jail for a murder that he hasn’t commited. She needs money to pay a good lawyer and that’s why she decides sold her virginity to the best bidder. Blake is a good son, and that’s why he has to continue his father’s businesses, even if one of there is a virgins' auction (and he didn’t know anything about “that” business). He feels attracted for a young blonde woman who is gonna been sold, but he doesn’t want is other man can buy her. They spend a week together, but in this time they not only discover about their own feelings, also about an awful secret.
❤ {.Spanish Review.}❤ ★★★★★ (5 stars) Sorprendente. Me encantó.
This entire book needs massive editing, it's a mess. I had to try to figure out what was going on in a sentence many times. There are many many left out words, and even some story continuity problems. There are also a huge number of misspellings and wrong, sound alike, words used All that said, the story is still a good one that I enjoyed reading. I Don't give up!
Lily💋👗 needs a lot of money to help her brother, who is in jail, accused of murder. She is young and naive, but with the reality of life, she must grow up fast. She learns of a virgin auction taking place and applies. She is chosen and her buyer is none other than Blake🐺🍌🌋💰, the son of the man that has run the auctions for years. Blake🐺🍌🌋🔥 is into bdsm👋👋, but he has never "bought" a woman before. He's so tall and handsome, rich💰 and alpha🐺, he has never had to try hard to get a woman, they flock to him. He buys Lily💋 to keep an old rival of his from getting her. Once he has her, he can't keep his big hands off of her.
There is light bdsm👋👋👋, but mostly it's implied, not acted out. The second included book is "Boss Me Please". This is an interesting book about the older but super studly billionaire CEO, Fletcher🐺🍌🌋🔥. He is in 💘 love with his personal executive assistant, Grace. Grace is in 💘love with him, too but there's a big problem. Grace is from a middle class black family and Fletcher🐺🍌🌋🔥💰 is a white, self made billionaire. He has it in his head that because of her upbringing, she isn't good enough for his 🌎world. It's a seesaw, back and forth, up and down, love💓 affair. YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎
This was not one of Amy's better books. I felt in a lot of places it lacked depth. I liked Lily and Blake together, but it did not feel like they connected, in any way.
The premise seemed intriguing enough, but it wasn't quite sold through the end. I enjoyed seeing the Dom aspect and I do felt that at times Blake hit it right on the nose. While Blake could have been made stronger, I would have liked to see more of his inner feelings as to why he's so cold. If he was so turned on with Lily but so turned off with the idea of selling virginities, I would have liked to know more about it. It's almost as if he thought about it once or twice but then it didn't matter. It was weird. And Lily just struck me as odd entirely. I loved how she wanted to help her brother, but she knew what she was getting into. Her mind shouldn't have started wondering into the 'what happens next' territory, especially as soon as it did.
Also, what happened toward the ending just wrapped it up horribly. From one specific moment in the book, I knew exactly what had happened. Then the explanation wasn't as neat as it should have been. If this one sentence wasn't there, it may not have ruined it for me. The ending felt a little rushed due to this one point.
Overall, this book could have been much better. I do like Brent's writing, but there was just so much wrong with this book. Namely the spelling errors and the complete lack of proofreading. Hmm. Onto the next one!
BTW - there is no way this book is over 1000 pages!
Lily Sinclair was at rock bottom, her parents were both dead and her brother was in jail facing murder charges. She was forced to live on her friends couch, while she saved money to pay for his lawyer. But maybe there was a way out, one thing that she possessed that she could sell.
Her Virginity!
A special auction was held twice a year, where virgins sold their first time to the highest bidder.
Blake Fisher couldn't believe it when his father told him about the seedier side to their business. The Auction House. His father told him to go, see how it's done and bid on the Virgin that nobody wants.
It was all going to sickening plan, until Mr. Johnson appeared. They had been friends once, before he took Blake's girl and turned her into a shadow of her former self. Now Blake was going to make sure Mr Johnson went home with nothing.
Then he saw her. She was the prize he was going to deflower in so many wicked ways. Lily was going to be his and he couldn't get enough of her sweet innocence. She was a perfect sub and his for the week.
But when his father finds out, all hell breaks loose and Blake comes to a horrifying realisation that he might be about to lose, as in a gone forever way, the best thing that had ever happened to him.
I am voluntarily reviewing Sold to the Dom by Amy Brent for receiving an Advanced Reader Copy.
Another great book by Amy. Selling your virginity for $50,000 to pay for the lawyer to help your brother, who raised you after your parents died, who is charged with a murder that he did not commit. Then you find out after the week is up that the man you just spent the week with and have feelings for, his father is the one who actually committed the murder and many more. He also tried to kill you. This is very emotional to some degree and on several different levels. Blake and Lily both go through so many of the same emotions and guilt but for different reasons and I think that is why they have such a connection right from the start. Makes you wonder if there are really places like that auction house around the country. Does Lily's brother get out of jail? Does Blake's dad get convicted with the murders or does money really buy him out of everything? Do Blake and Lily have a future together or are they just going to go their separate way because of this?
Sold to the Dom is Amy Brent's latest book. Lily Sinclaire is desperate to help her brother and decides to auction her virginity to do so. Blake Fisher has lead a privileged life and can't believe it when his dad reveals one of their business ventures- a auction house where men bid for young virgins. Blake doesn't understand the appeal of the club because he has never paid for sex and doesn't plan to. When Blake sees Lily on the auction block that all changes. He has to have her no matter what! The chemistry between Blake and Lily is hot and he introduces her to many pleasures she never knew she would desire. At the end of their week will they both be able to walk away? Get Sold to the Dom to find out how Blake and Lily's story ends.I loved how Amy showed both points of view. There are twists and turns to the plot that keep you hooked until the very end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this book, it had a few twists that I didn't see coming. Blake was a young man who was set to take over his family's businesses, but to his shock, one of them was selling virgins to rich men. When he sees a former friend bidding for a young woman, Lily, he decides she has to be his and that he is saving her from a monster. Lily is a young woman who needs money to help her brother who raised her after the death of her parents. Lily thinks this is her only option to get a lot of money and finds herself willing to do anything to please the man who bought her. Blake and Lily have great chemistry and Blake is really a good guy who wants the best for her, while not knowing why she felt she had to sell her virginity. This book is a little different from the other virgin auction books and I enjoyed it, it had more of another storyline along side the auction. Well done
I absolutley love Amy Brent's books. This one was a little different for me. Lily desperately needs money and the only way she can think to get it is to sell her virginity. Blake's father just dropped a bombshell that he owns the auction house and Blake needs to run the next one. When he sees Lily he knows he must have her. They begin their week together and their feelings begin to escalate. But then secrets come out and there are twists and turns you never saw coming. Pretty good read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Must read..Virginity sold to get Brother Out if jail..🔥🔥🔥 Steamy love..HEA
Another incredible Amy Brent book! I loved the dual pov. It allows me to get into both characters heads. Lilly is reluctantly selling her virginity to get her brother out of jail. She goes to a Virginity House. Blake is now put in charge of the Virginity house his grandfather started. He's not too happy. He doesn't pay for sex. His dad tells him he's taking over Running that night of the Virginity sale. Blake is NOT Happy. ..When he first spots Lilly that all changes. Both have a lot of issues and baggage. It's interesting how they work through things. This is one HOT 🔥🔥book. Steamy sex with a happy ending. Amy Brent is one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to read her next book!
While this was not Amy's best work, it is still a great read. I can understand that Amy Brent is sick, and she struggled with writing this book, so I kept that in mind when reading it. It does seem that some things were unexplained, but the point of the book and the struggle with Blake and Lily were clearly communicated. Lily just wanted to help her brother from false murder charges. Blake wants to get control over the company, but his father is holding some dark secrets. It all comes out in the end and Lily and Blake's love for each other endure the lies and violence that his father has. I loved this book even with some errors in the writing. I volentery signed up for reviewing this book and got an advanced readers copy as a gift, thank you ♡♡ Love Amy Brent's writing and this was so good :0) Lily want to save her brother from a lifesentnes in jail for killing his girlfrien! She knows he coude never have done it,but lawyer are exspensive and the only thing she has to sell are her virginety! Blake is at the auction because his father want him to takeover the family business and he want Lily and to teach her ,that to sellimg her body for a new phone or something like it,it's not okey! His a dom and Lily dosent know what she's getting in to..... ;0) And somthing or someone are lurking in the shadows ;0 The story is hot, loving and a bit dark :0)
What a hot read and what an unexpected curveball from Amy Brent! When Lily finds that the only way to get the money she needs to help her brother is to sell something that can be taken once, her virginity, she just hoped she won at the auction. Blake Fischer is the latest Fischer man in charge of the auctions and bids on Lily to keep an ex-friend from getting her, but didn't expect the connection they would form, how good a submissive Lily would be and how the situation would end. I loved Lily and Blake and their story definitely kept me hooked. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy not this book.
What happens when your brother who is your only family needs help badly and you don't have any money you auction the only thing you have, your virginity cause you where saving for the man that was going to be your husband. When Blake takes Lily he never thought in the end his head would be filled with thoughts of her, but with things ending badly between them and his dad being the usual bossy self they never saw what was coming but when they do the things that come to light are shocking.
THhis was a good book in my opinion I did draw on a bit but it never goes of point and I was shocked I never saw the way this book was going to go so was happy with the outcome. Very good book.
Sold to the Dom is Blake and Lily's story. Lily needs money to help her brother so she agrees to be put up for auction for the money. When Blake sees his rival is at the auction and wants Lily he decides she is going to be his and he bids to win her. What will happen when they have feelings for each other? Will they admit them to each other or go their separate ways after their time together? I really enjoyed Lily and Blake's story. They had great chemistry and hot sex. This story has passion and pain mixed with pleasure, secrets and twists and turns that kept my attention till the end of the book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I love Amy Brent's books. They are always filled with so much action and suspense that leave you hanging on the edge of your seat. This one is no different and I loved had edgy this story was. It may be a little bit taboo for some people but it is definitely worth reading. I loved Lily and Blake's characters. They have such chemistry that it leaps off the page at you. Lily seems a little bit like she doesn't have much of a backbone but as she goes along you see her develop one. Blake is a little standoffish but greatly moves to protective. The flow of he story is fabulous and you just can't put it down until the end. I voluntarily review and advanced reader copy of this book.
Sold to the Dom was so good - I thought the premise was a good change of pace. I've read other stories about virgins being auctioned off, and this one was a little different. The only thing I disliked was that I didn't feel Blake's passion for Lily. It was almost as though he only thought of her as a sub. I would have liked to see more about how his feelings for her developed as the story progressed. But there were some good plot twists which kept it an engaging read, and I enjoyed it very much. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This book is one hot and steamy auction with some dark nuances. Lilly has decided to sell her virginity to bail Gary, her brother, out of prison as he is the only family she has. She is concerned about what happens if she is picked and what happens to those women that are not chosen. The moment Blake sees Lilly; he throws his prior feelings of never paying for sex out the window as he becomes obsessed with possessing her. What follows are twists and even a murder….Want to find out what happens? Get the book. I volunteered to read an arc for a review.
An absolutely incredible read! Certainly not your run-of-the-mill Virgin auction. This storyline has some very interesting twists and turns; things are not always as they seem...and the characters are developed in such a way that they keep you guessing. The ending will totally stun you! Get ready for a totally different sort of ride! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away by this story!!) You definitely need to 1-Click this book today! ❤️
Lily and Blake may come from two very different worlds, but that's a given. The book has so many twists and turns you don't see coming.. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Lily and Blake may have met in a very unconventional way, but the chemistry was definitely there. The scenes in this book are beyond HOT. I absolutely loved the ending.

Blake went through so much and being a Dom and a billionaire has his advantages but he didn't expect in his life to meet a woman like lily fragile, beautiful, innocent he went to an auction house owned by his dad and soon to be his not expecting to meet and desire someone like lily who was there to sell her virginity to save her brother whom been sent to jail unfairly. This book keeps you on your toes and is full of action loved it
