A sizzling contemporary royal romance from bestselling authors Ember Casey and Renna Peak.
Prince William swore he’d never marry a noblewoman. But when he agrees to an arranged marriage to save Montovia, he has no idea what’s in store…
WILLIAM: As the third son of my family, I never thought I’d have to make a political marriage, especially in this day and age. I enjoy my freedom - but for the sake of my family and my country, I’m willing to do the unthinkable and wed Princess Justine of Rosvalia.
But Justine is nothing like I thought - from her fiery temper to her mysterious past, I find her far more intriguing than I anticipated. The only problem? She hates my guts.
I’m not one to shy away from a challenge, though, and now I have a new goal: to seduce my new wife, by whatever means necessary.
This is William and Justine's story. Their marriage is one that was arranged and there is more that a lot of tension between the two. Justine was prepared to marry Andrew, William's brother. Andrew ended up failing in love with Victoria and her marriage to William was set up without her knowledge. To say she is pissed off is an understatement. This book was well written and I found it quite humorous. I can't wait for book two! I voluntarily read an arc copy for my honest review!
I was really enjoying the book. Then it stopped suddenly. Six novellas. If it wasn't a short read (less than 60 minutes), it wouldn't be bad but to spend $15 for the rest of the books? Not even books long short stories is what is making me upset. I was really enjoying the read.
Very disappointed. Ms. Casey should have written a book and let it be done. Or at least forewarned us this was a series.
Eeekk I am sooo excited this series is continuing and that it's William's story! I think he might be my fave brother yet! Ohhh Justine and William have sooo many secrets and you know what they say about secrets? They don't make friends. I have a feeling these two are going to be going at each other's throat's until one day they are not, but it might be to late by then. I can't wait to read about they finally come together! Want more NOW!!!!!!!
***I voluntarily read the ARC to give an honest review*** I love the banter between William and Justine! When she is feeling him he is NOT feeling her because he doesn't feel she is being real! When he is thinking she is being for real she tricks him and leaves him naked and alone! He does try to take up for her with her bat crazy family. She, on the other hand, can't decide if she will take up for him with her brother. A great read!
Justine was annoying and childish. Total B. Couldn’t handle her entitlement. DNF. Won’t be finishing or continuing with this annoying character . She can go kick rocks.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow! This book is an absolute gem! Prince William is so freaking SEXY! And funny! And adorable in the hottest way!! What a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!! I am enthralled with the characters of Prince William and Princess Justine of Rosvalia. I laughed hysterically at times during the banter between these two, but William is so smooth and unpretentious, you can’t help but to love him. I applaud every word of this story, from the succinct dialogue to the wildly inappropriate—yet scorching hot flirting. Prince William never thought he would get married since he is the third son, but to help his brother, Prince Andrew—the crown prince—and his country, he took it upon himself to make arrangements with Princess Justine’s father to wed her for the good of both countries. After the arranged marriage between William and Justine, William is finding that Justine is not as docile and shy as he once thought—she is feisty, has a fiery temper, and is brazen, which he finds intriguing, exciting and sexy. The problem—she hates his guts! William is not liked by Justine’s family and there are many secrets—with Justine and the palace. How will William and Justine survive their arranged marriage? Will William be able to break down the walls Justine has built? How will William be able to find out Justine’s secret and what the palace is hiding? Will William give up and return to Montovia? The storyline was not a predictable one, and I was never bored when reading it. The collaboration between Ember Casey and Renna Peak is amazing. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. So do yourself a favor and buy this book, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to read Book 2.
William is the third son in line for the crown of Montovia. He arranges a marriage between himself and Princess Justine, in order to avert a war and to make sure his oldest brother Andrew is free to marry Victoria. Justine is from their neighboring country, where there is no love lost between them. William has to move to Justine's country and live in the palace with her royal family. He is forbidden to roam the castle and constantly finds himself thrown into a cell. He's convinced the family is hiding something and is determined to find out what. Justine just has to keep William at bay for 100 days and then she can be free from her marriage to him. With the way the book ended, I can't wait to find out what happens next
Gahhhh!!!! I freaking loved this story. Ember and Renna have done such a wonderful job on this family. Every brother just makes me love them, and William did it within a few pages. This series is going to be survival if the fittest. William is cocky, funny, and a pain in the butt. Justine is smart, witty, and a savage. There is a few things I'm trying to figure out in this one, but I guess time will tell.
I'm leaving this review short, cause so much happens in such a short amount of time. I really do t want to spoil anything for the readers.
I really enjoyed this book, even though I think it ended to quickly. I'm glad that the next book continues their story, but takes a look at William's brothers also. I think the proofreading could have been a little better, but did not detract from the ongoing story. It's known in other countries that, especially the royal families, to have arranged marriages. The story probably isn't to far from reality on how "couple" act to one another. I think if she would let her hair down a little I think they would be good together.
Prince William has had me from Andrew's set of books. I'm so excited to see how his and Justine's marriage works out. What's being hidden and will these enemies become lovers for real? The tension runs high between them and I feel when they finally give into their feelings, they are going to be hot! I've loved all of the royals so far and William I think is going to be my favorite! Hurry with book 2!
My heart breaks for these two. William and Justine keep missing the mark with each other causing deep pain; a kind of pain that is only realized when the passion denied is so palpable. I was struck with the realization of how well these two authors kept the rhythm and tenor of a European accent flowing smoothly. A compelling read that left me wanting for more NOW!! I need these two to find their 'happily ever after'.
And here we go again...lol We see another Montavian prince falling in love. This time around it's William and I can already see that Princess Justine will lead him on a fine merry chase. Already enjoying , this new series. Can't wait to see what happens next. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
If I thought the suspense from the other books in this series was enough to kill me I think this one may put me over the edge! I am intrigued to see where William and Justine's story is going to go. The tension between the pair is palpable and I can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
I am loving Justine and Williams relationship, I like the little games the play. As for Justines family, I dent care much for them and how they treat their daughter. I know the have some very outraged laws but this is still not right. There are so many secrets and I cannot wait to figure out what they are. I am also hoping that Justine and William work things out.
The drama between Justine an William marriage which revolves around the arrangements where there are no control over anything. There are so many secrets going on .Why does Justine brother hate William so much. This is a story with s o much twist and turns you have to stay tuned.
Great read so far. I love Prince William, he's such a great character and I am rooting for him. He gave up his own freedom and want him to find love. Justine, I am warming up to but she had it rough growing up. Can't wait to see how the rest of the series develops. It's must read.
Justine has a big chip on her shoulder and there's no wonder as to why. With the way her family is, would you trust anyone? William's beliefs that all noble women are the same is just as idiotic as the next man's.
This is book one for this set of books. It's dramatic for sure. It is also William's story. He marries a Justine who we met in the previous set of books. But this marriage of convenience seems to be turning into a house of horrors. Onto the next book.
An interesting look into what a modern day arranged royal marriage might entail. And as in anything that is serialized, this definitely is a cliffhanger.
I started this book then put it down then after reading a couple other books I decided that I was start it again. I read this book and almost put it down again but I never leave a book unfinished and I am glad I didn't stop reading. Now I am ready to read another.
Justine is thrown into an arranged marriage with William from the neighboring country to help settle any chance of war. However Justine distaste William. William has decided to make it his mission to find a way to get to know his wife.
Well the sparks sure fly in the start of William and Justine story. This book starts off with a bang right away. I can tell their story is going to be very interesting. Can't wait for more.
