I could immediately feel the psychic and physical wounds of the vibrant, thriller characters. The dangerous operations were detailed so I could hitch a ride as a silent partner. As any foodie, I had to consume each tasty, delightful bite on the cafe menus. Max's burning passion and Hank and Tom's tangible loves captured my spirit like no TV soap could do. The exciting people, places, and things make [#4] my best SOG Thriller.
SStephen Templin takes out the bad guys and takes us along for the ride. In his latest adventure thriller, Assassin’s Sons #4 of the Special Operations Group, the language is as colorful as the characters themselves. Men are not the only heroes here as the women weapon up right alongside the big dogs to provide over watch and action, lighting up all the fires. With warrior speak and tactical accuracy, Templin delivers on his promises. We can only hope to keep up!
A modern novel about an attack that killed the sister of a SOG. Team member and how he and his partner travel the Middle East looking for the assassin. In their search for the assassin they discover a plot to plant bombs in Times Square on New Year's Eve. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
“Assassins Sons” by author Stephen Templin is Book 4 of the Special Operations Group series and is a fast read action thriller about two brothers and CIA operatives Max and Tom Wayne who race through Europe and the Middle East to avenge the death of Tom's girlfriend. Templin writes another enthralling espionage story with plenty of action combined with lots of laughs this time. These two brothers are “kings of comebacks’ and quick one-liners! The dialogue between them is hilarious! The story though had somewhat of an odd plot line of ‘do-or-die’ to get payback for the girlfriend’s death on top of stumbling on and stopping a deadly terrorist attack on Times Square in New York City on New Year's Eve - go figure? But surprisingly, Templin made it work. I pushed through the story and actually ended up giving it a solid rating. I liked the other books in the series and thought I should finish this story to complete the 5 book series. Assassins Sons is not a bad read but it’s not anything to rave about either. I had too much invested in the series to not finish reading all the books.
