Minimalism: 7 Minimalist Techniques to Reduce Stress and Create a Happier, More Balanced and Meaningful Life through Simplicity

Rate this book
First of all, I would like to welcome you to the great world of minimalism, and minimalist living. It is my hope that this book will at the very least offer you a fresh lens with which to examine your own life, habits and perhaps make a few positive changes. However, if you are of the more ambitious type, you will soon uncover that the ideas, techniques and principles presented in this book may be applied to any area of your life. That is to say, “minimalism” may be used as a tool for enhancing your overall joy of life, as that is it's true purpose. Like a compass that leads a ship back to shore, minimalism, can help lead you back to the ultimate joy, yourself.

As the author of this book, my goal is not to convince you to suddenly renounce your possessions and move to the hills of Italy to herd sheep. In the event this book helps you discover that sheep herding is your life calling, please, drop me a line. My intention with this book is to help you bring YOU back into your life. I often use the words “you” and “joy” interchangeably, and this is because I view them as one in the same. By decluttering your life, you will find more of you, and where there is you, there is always joy. May this book bring you both ideas and inspiration for change, and the confidence to follow through with your minimalist endeavors.

Good book, although the author could have explored a little deeper the contents shown in this book so the readers could get to know more about the movement.

It is good for those who are new to the minimalist and those who didn’t know what was minimalism about and its ideals.

I would say it is worth reading, because it is a really fast reading and it gives you some good suggestions and tips.

This one is good for an introduction to some of the ideas of minimalism. If you're already somewhat educated about minimalism, though, you won't get anything out of this. It's truly for beginners.
