I won't rate a book that I didn't finish, usually, unless it is a horrible mess. And since the author was nice enough to offer me a copy of this title to review, I really don't want to leave a rating. And, to make it worse, I liked another book by this author, so don't know if this is just some different writing style in this one, or if I didn't notice it in the other book. However, I do want to explain why I did not finish it. First off, insta-love to the max, just way too soon and way too out of proportion to the story in my opinion. Then, there were plenty of words and phrases used that just made the immature voice inside my head giggle or scoff. I just cannot take a story seriously with those words. Baby-making cream. An 18 year old girl being okay with getting pregnant her first time? Maybe? But saying if he comes inside her right now she'll get pregnant. As if it is just that easy? Oh yeah, it feels weird to have the word pussy, followed by "my volcano erupts, filling her with my cream." I won't go on, but if you can say pussy, why can't you also say dick or cock, or similar? So there was the whole immature thing with some words, but then as an adult who reads a lot of romance, sexy ones, erotic ones, it seems you have to kind of be somewhat more consistent in the language you use. I don't know, could be just me.
I hate leaving a bad review, I really do, but there were just some things in this that I just had to share with fellow readers who might understand just what I'm saying here.
