The book will show you how to create a LibreOffice Base client and a postgreSQL server. It will outline how to back up and restore the database, how to write to external files, how to read from external files, how to determine if an external file exists and is not empty, how to create postgreSQL tables, triggers, and stored procedures.
The book also outlines how to create various LibreOffice GUIs, Macros, List Boxes, Combo Boxes, and how to execute bash scripts from the LibreOffice GUI.
This is not a database theory book. This is not a comprehensive LibreOffice Base or postgreSQL tutorial. There are other books for that, but those books will not help you to get started quickly and they leave a lot of questions unanswered.
