So, again another gravesite, really Yasmine, but a question answered. The book on my mind is Keys to the Streets 2 by Yasmine Davis. That cliffhanger in the first book is the only reason I came back for the second book. I needed to know, it was on my mind. So, you guys ready? Let’s go.

You find Maino at a gravesite mourning this loss of a friend with Chance and the rest of his buddies and he ends up mending fences with his brother. Which was funny because this was also the moment where he decided to tell everyone what happened with Ray. Too funny, they love you and then they hate you again. Once that happens, Maino finally checks his phone, a little late buddy. He gets to his house where we meet this mystery man named Justice and what happened to Allure. Pause. How did she get Jamaica that fast and with who, I mean what, what! Maino doesn’t think twice he is on the first flight there to get his queen. Once they landed in Jamaica, the read after that got explosive. To me, it was fast and made Justice look soft compared to the first book. I was a little upset about his character. After the rescue Yasmine decides to tempt us with this thing between Allure and Maino. Now mind you, they haven’t had sex yet and after the rescue their emotions are running too high for me.

We get back NC and Maino is acting weird in a remorseful type of way. He is upset he put her harm’s way and starts just wanting to stay around her and say in every type of way that he is sorry. That promise ring should have been an engagement ring. After reading it, I am just saying it sounds like a wedding ring. You would think that these two are so in love and only have eyes for each other. They are solid, right? So, everything that happened after this was just too confusing for me just what.

After they get back from the club, we hear from Rashad and this man comes out of nowhere and is catching feeling for her. And then I go from liking Allure to being confused. How does lust make you lose the fact that you got Maino as your man? She went from wanting to sleep with and be all about Maino to anybody who can turn you on without a second though. What the heck? Of course, you know what happens and then Allure is automatically regretting her decision that she didn’t make with the brain in her head. Maino is hurt and it’s understandable. I would dip out too. But it didn’t stop him from catching up with his old flame, oh he bounced back quick. What gets me is that there was no reason for Allure to flip, I mean there was no reason for her to flip and that’s what I didn’t like. Ok, maybe a small reason but not big enough for her to do this. Hurt my man here. Allure was portrayed as this person who was saving herself for marriage then she turns around and does this. The book journeys through Maino and Allure and the effect of their breakup. Maino is this guy that had his pride hurt and Allure made me want to slap her because she was just complaining. (explain further)

In the middle of that story, this mystery guy comes out of the woodwork and decides to work with the Italian mafia. I think their love story masked what was really going on and is what with this guy here. You find out who the mystery man is really and you will be amazed at how Yasmine’s mind works here. It all boiled down to the keys, two men wanted it and eventually someone gets it and so much more.

Now if this is not another book in the series, I’m cool with it being the end. I really don’t see how much further you can go after that ending really. What I loved about this story was that you knew where you were in the story compared to the last book, so points for that. But, a small one, there were too many grammatical errors in this book. Now it didn’t detour from the story but it had me reading the sentence twice wondering if anybody else read that too.
Well that’s all I got for you guys today, thanks for watching me rant and rave about Keys to the Streets 2 by Yasmine Davis. If you haven’t read the first book, well you should. I also have a video out for that one too the link is below. Thank you, Yasmine, for hooking me up again and your book is forever on my YouTube shelf. Two books girl that’s a record. I am looking out for you. Be sure to like and subscribe and check out my review on Goodreads and follow me on their along with other fan and reviewers who probably have a bigger opinion than I do. Until next time this reader is signing out.
