Get a glimpse into the future lives of the characters from Modern Love Stories and Wingmen in this brand new collection of short stories.
Maggie and Gil move into together. Ben and Jo take a vacation. Someone finally puts the outdoor shower to good use. John and Diane plan a wedding. Tom brings Hailey camping. Two wingmen meet their match in a baby. Everyone comes home for the holidays.
These shorts (except The Pink Pearl) take place after the Modern Love Stories and Wingmen books, so they're best enjoyed after reading the full length novels in those series.

USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott lives in a real life Stars Hollow in the Boston suburbs with her husband and an indeterminate number of imaginary housegoats. When not writing about people falling in love, she can be found traveling, gardening, baking, and reading a good book.
Her series include: Love with Altitude, Modern Love Stories, Wingmen and Bewitched.
I mostly bought this book in order to get the scene with John, prior to him meeting Diane. I was a little disappointed that it included short stories that had already been published (and I had already bought). It would have been nice if there had been a new short story included. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, the scene was great and I'm glad I spent the money to get the collection.
Short story collection by one of my favorite authors. There are a few new (to me) stories mixed in with some that were published as novellas. It was a quick, fun read to sit back and enjoy on a long weekend. Excellent! Highly recommended.
Review is on Take It Easy - Daisy Prescott ( Book 2.5) You know how sometimes we get stuck in a little reading slump where everything you try is just not kicking it and grabbing your attention and then the time is busy ticking away and you feel like screaming as you just need something to scratch that reading itch? This is one of the reasons I love having access to a few short stories/ novellas, books that I know will be quick reads and hit that spot. One of my favourite authors who I discovered over ten years ago was Daisy Prescott. After her book Geoducks are for Lovers where we met Diane and John Day, she wrote some more books in this series and then a couple of spin-off series that were varying sizes. Take It Easy is one of those books, Diane and John Day have just married and celebrating a romantic weekend away in the bush with John's best friend Tom, and his current flame Hailey. Tom feels that he needs to initiate Diane and working with John, creates a prank. Of course, Hailey knows it's a joke and decides with Diane to create their one and get back at the boys. Who will win the prank war in the bush? Will it be Team Men or Team Female? Find out in this fun quick read "Take It Easy" by Daisy Prescott.
If you are are not already ready Daisy Prescott's books, you are absolutely missing out on some of the swooniest and most clever romances. If you are a Daisy reader, then this collection will be gravy. I adored each of these shorts the first time I read them, but the second? My affection grew tenfold. It was proof positive that these amazing characters have set up a Whidbey Island satellite in my heart. I am all in with them and that is all because of Daisy Prescott. She writes with such love and care that it is impossible not to return the sentiment. It's what brings these stories to life each and every time you read them. It's why I savor each story, whether it is the first or tenth time I am reading it. That's magic for me.
Lots of tiny bits of fun! Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After is a collection of short stories, (most previously published in other collections) from the Modern Love series and the Wingmen series. Short glimpses of most of our favorite characters including Olaf the often curmudgeonly bartender (who secretly loves them all), and even a first peek at our favorite South African, man-bun wearing rugby player from Next to You. The first book in the Love with Altitude series. And a bonus. A peek at one of Selah’s “Pirotica” novels that she’s always working on. This is definitely not a standalone. More of a companion to the other series. Little bits that fill in some blank spots in the earlier books. Lots of fun, lots of humor and lots of love for some of our favorite characters.
An absolutely charming addition to the Wingmen and Geoducks series. The author masterfully has combined all of her shorts into one collection, adding her own personal comments at the beginning of each novella. Getting to be back with such memorable characters is nothing short of wonderful.
There are even a few bonuses never before published and for those who have adored these characters from the start, you are in for a real treat.
Get all the joy you can stand in one delightful book. The smile won't leave your face for even a moment.
There aren't enough stars for this walk down memory lane but since I must, a huge 5++ stars
I am so excited to have all these great shirts from Daisy Prescott in one great collection! Revisiting so many beloved characters is always a treat. John Day in an outdoor shower and the chance to read The Pink Pearl are just 2 great reasons to pick up this quick read.
Reviewing Olaf’s Christmas. What a wonderful and amusing look into the bartender we all love! He may seem gruf and cranky, but underneath it all he loves the crazy folks of Whidbey as much as Daisy’s readers do!! These shorts she’s created are such fun little glimpses into daily life. A catch up, a snippet and a different point of view and I couldn’t love it more!!
A glorious re-read of all my favorite Daisy Prescott short stories. Brought back many details of my favorite characters and helped cut down the wait time for the next books!
