"I'm a true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story like of this book, but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching, and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like i know the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them coming."
"Love this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book. Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.
She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

LOVED IT!! Another great Barrington family romance! Grant is the quite, intense, methodical Barrington. Viviana is a woman who was raised in a testerone filled house so, she down to earth, brash and brutally honest. Right from th beginning I fell in love with this couple. They are total opposites and sparks fly when they meet! This story answers more of the mystery of Kent, the missing brother and, it is also a heartwarming and sexy story of two people that connect on a basic level and realize each has something to offer the other that had been lacking in themselves! Couldn't put it down!!
More Than Love was a very, very pleasant surprise for me. Quite honestly, I'm not sure why I'm surprised by that. Ruth Cardello has knocked it out of the park, yet again. Grant Barrington is my new book boyfriend and his story is full of entertaining moments and I literally laughed out loud. I would tell all of my friends to read this book!
Tragedy may have shaped their world, but the Barringtons refused to allow it to ruin their lives. Amid the secrets, because of the pain and despite the danger, this family learned the true meaning behind that word. Love proved to be the greatest asset that they could give each other. More than Love is how Grant discovered the power and responsibility behind one special word. LOVE. Grant is the reliable one. His emotions run deep, but the door to his heart remains firmly closed. Until a damsel in distress knocks that door off it's axis and worms her way inside. The surprises never stop as Viviana and Grant come face to face with their destiny. The heart wants what it wants and Ms. Cardello knows how to deliver.
This is a funny and charming installment in the Barrington Billionaires series. When Grant decides he wants to see what it is like to become "regular" what we get is a sexy awkward billionaire, and hijinx ensue. Add some sexy chemistry with Viviana who is in Boston trying to figure out her own stuff without worrying about a man, and a great romantic comedy is well underway. The book keep-up a quick pace when you add in in an unplanned baby, the mysterious death of Grants brother nearly thirty years ago, and some protective brothers. This is my favorite installment so far in the series and proof that Ruth Cardello can certainly bring on the funny.
This is book five of Ruth Cardello's Barrington Billionaire Series which also coincides with her sister Jeannette Winters and niece Danielle Stewart's books of the same name and all the books link in with each other.
Meet the brooding but sexy Grant Barrington. Grant's usually a very quiet guy and to some of his family Grant is a true hero. A hero that is suddenly about to learn to flex and show his true alpha protective streak and some primitive muscle.
Have you ever thought what happens when a normally very private and reserved billionaire who suddenly tries to change some his personality and then tries to be a normal man? Then the normal man discovers that he has a total wild and daring side?
Here is the lovely but insecure Viviana Sutton. Viviana's now residing in Boston, that is now she was swindled out of most of her savings and apartment by her cruel and soul-destroying former boyfriend. Viviana’s now done with any relationship that may come looking for her. Viviana is definitely not interesting in looking for her happy ever after. However after Viviana gave into just one naughty, soul searching and very incredible hot romp with one sexy, panty melting and financially challenged stranger. Viviana suddenly realises that it really and actually makes her feel so much better. That's until she has a strange feeling about her future so she then decides to take a pregnancy test.
For Grant to help and finally help his family heal and learn the truth, Grant will now need to be the strong Alpha man that Viviana needs him to be for both of them and their unborn child.
There should be an option for more than 5 stars as i would definitely give more but have to settle for 5
My first experience with Ruth Cardello was many years ago with the Legacy Collection and Dominic Corisi...swoon! So when the opportunity came to review more work by Ms. Cardello, I couldn't turn it down. After the Legacy Series, I sort of lost track of this author. Reading More Than Love, I was presented with a well written and well thought out story that finds me once again hooked on her work. Reading time for More Than Love was a little over 4 hours.
More Than Love is a standalone novel in the Barrington Billionaires series...sort of? Each member of the family is getting their own story...which yes makes it a standalone...but I was plagued for most of the beginning half with an underlying storyline that I knew nothing about and I wished I had read the first four books. You can get through this book and enjoy it from start to finish, just make sure you pay attention the first half.
I could totally relate to Grant. He's a numbers guy...thinks logically...very little filter. There is a portion of the book where he is trying to explain things to Viviana and it's just not going well...I was laughing...because I totally understood his problem!
I appreciated Viviana's determination and self-reliance. I like a strong leading female who can take care of herself without needing a man...while still wanting a man. Her brothers were a hoot! Their little antics made me giggle several times and I loved her Dad. The whole Sutton Family was amazing and oddly, I think, how fun it would be to see them get a story and find love too!
I got all the feels with this story...pangs of heartbreak...twinges of lust...giggle fits and because of this I am giving this story 5 stars.
Thank you Ruth Cardello for allowing me the opportunity to review More Than Love!
Review by Corrie H. for Lamplight Review and Promotion
Grant Barrington was told he had lost touch with “real people” so he decided to be around some “regular” people. While jogging he “bumps” into Viviana Sutton. Immediately he is fascinated as to just how real she is and wants to find out more about her.
Viviana Sutton has gone to Boston to try and find out who she is away from her father, brothers and her hometown. One night with an incredibly hot stranger who seems to be as financially challenged as she is, not only rocks her world but also changes it forever. She wonders if Grant is for real and if she can trust him.
I thoroughly enjoyed this latest story in the Barrington Series. I connected with Grant and Viviana from the very first and from page one I was hooked. This story picks up with the storyline of the baby brother who “died at birth” and all the mystery surrounding that. Grant goes to question the people involved to get answers for his family; this makes this not only a hot, alpha, sexy story, but a good mystery as well. You just have to know what has happened to the lost Barrington.
This author not only tells a wonderful story about the H&H but she pulls the entire family in as well. In this one the Barringtons are all in but Vivian’s family are in as well. The humor that her brothers bring to this story was laugh out loud funny. In fact, there was humor all over this story. The scene where Grant has dinner with Viv’s father and brothers is so hilarious. You can’t help but laugh out loud. I loved it!
I have read all of Ruth Cardello’s books and there isn’t one I haven’t enjoyed. With each book she finds new and exciting stories to tell with such heart. She writes of love of family, strength, loyalty and sometimes pain with messy relationships, as well as misunderstandings but always hope for something wonderful. I love her alpha males who are bossy and sometimes a little over the top but that is what I love about the men she writes about. They are take charge but when they fall in love they do with their whole heart. These men always learn a lesson in what it means to really be a strong man.
"She laid a hand on his chest and said, “Yes, you would have, because in here there is more than love, there is also a hero. My hero.”"
So here is the thing.... Grant is my little brother. He is the John Shaft of this series. There is not much to say but, about darn time and ohh I want more. Yep, the plot thickens to the point of solid cement but in a way that leaves you understanding and cheering, consoling and suiting up, laughing and angry.
Viviana got her hands full but if anyone can handle it and place it in order it is her. She was the female organizer and backbone missing from this family. No holds barred, construction potty mouth, with an understanding to dissect and execute with precision. She brought a smile and character to the corporate robot. A man who was his father in every way. A man who proved leadership and strength through detail of action, cut throats and to the point. Kill them with smarts and no whit but learn words from "normal people" interactions.
One suggestion and mission to prove turned into addition, laughs, travel, discovery, cheers, determination, love, understanding, and a few punches here and there... Now what's next? I can only hope and imagine.
I just love this family. The author has created a wonderfully entertaining series based around the Barrington Billionaires and More than Love is an amazing addition.
This family has lived through everything from heartbreak to undying love in true Barrington fashion. They don’t do anything by the halves yet in their own ways they are a typical family. They fight, they laugh, have family dinners and 100% have each other’s backs from Mom and Dad all the way down through the kids and their spouses.
In this storyline we find Grant learning to act like an ordinary guy so that he can mix with the common folk in hopes to get answers about his brother's death. What he doesn't count on is meeting Viviana and dealing with his attraction to her, especially when she thinks he's just some poor smuck. If you’ve kept up with the prior books I have no doubt the Barrington’s and their spouses have wrapped around your heart, well just wait till you meet Viv, her Dad and her hilarious brothers. You’ll laugh, sigh and shake your head a few times as you turn page after page of this wonderfully written story. 2 Thumbs Up for a book/series that is not to be missed. I Highly recommend one-clicking them ASAP, you won’t regret it!
4.5 Stars More than Love is book 5 in The Barrington Billionaires Series but I think you could read this book as a standalone and I'm sure once read you will fall for the Barrington family. Grant Barrington is the sensible brother he is methodical in everything, he is focused and rational but that all goes out the window when he bumps into Viviana Sutton whilst out running. Viviana is a regular girl who was raised in a house full of men, she is down to earth and tells it as it is. Grant and Viviana have an instant crazy attraction to each other and end up spending a night together, It may have been Grant that left that night but he can't get her out of his mind. They say opposites attract and that's exactly what happened in this sweet, sexy romance. This book also answers a lot of questions about the mystery surrounding the missing Barrington brother Kent. This is a love story about two people spending a night of passion only to find out they have so much more to offer each other. Its a book that captivated me from the first chapter to the very last page.
These two characters were so wonderfully opposite. I really enjoyed their story. Grant Barrington gives off that elitist, rich and cold demeanor. I laughed so many times at the way he spoke to Viviana and other people. He never realized how rude and out of touch with reality he sounded. Viviana was kind of a hot mess, which was a blast to read. She was trying to figure out her life, which led her to Grant. The way they met and spent their first encounters were fun and sexy. They had sizzling chemistry and an instant connection. I really liked the way Viviana affected Grant, making him loosen up and open up more. The ongoing story with this Barrington family keeps you hooked throughout the book. Trying to figure out what happened to their brother Kent, after he was born, has provided a lot of drama, suspense and angst in this series. I have really enjoyed every book so far.
More Than Love by Ruth Cardello is the fifth installment in the Barrington Billionaires Series. This book can easily be read as a standalone, there are only a few cross-over. Meet Grant Barrington, a the brain in the Barrington family, he´s focused and rational. He tries to be a regular guy and meet Viviana Sutton. They have this crazy insta- chemistry and spend the night together. They have a really good time. He leaves but can´t her get out of his head. More Than Love is a feel-good perfect summer read. This book has everything that I love in it. Great feelings, love, drama, a douchie and a beautiful HEA. I love Ruth Cardello´s writing. I love her characters and I love her words. I give 4,5 sweet stars and say thank you, Ruth Cardello.
More Than Love by Ruth Cardello has everything that makes it go to the top of my favorites list.
Grant and Viviana’s story has been a while in coming but since I’ve followed this series from the beginning that may be why it feels that way. They is such a sweet couple at times and yet I laughed with them so many times in this book. Viviana and her family couldn't be more different from the Barrington's, but they will bring a new dimension Grant's life. Then in typical Ruth Cardello fashion, she had to throw in a couple of heart-touching get the tissues out moments to round things off.
As Grant Barrington gets closer to finding out exactly what happened to his brother all those years ago, he may blow the investigation if he doesn’t relax. Grant swears he can be a regular guy and set off to do just that. Viviana Sutton wants to move on after her jerk of a boyfriend took off with her money – all $50. So when Viviana stubbles onto Grant literally, they both decide to see where this attraction takes them. What follows is a funny story of love and a baby with a few mishaps in between.
5 stars for More Than Love by Ruth Cardello!! I am beyond in love with this book I can not wait to read more about this couple. This book has everything from mystery, adventure and romance. The characters Grant and Vivianna are beyond a perfect couple even though it didn't start that way. The other characters in this book are hilarious! Especially her brothers!! This book drew me in and didn't let go. I highly recommend you read this book!- By Cheyenne
Well all I can say is wow. I've read every single one of Ruth's books and I just love them. She pulls you into the book so you feel like you're actually living the book. I laughed and cried. I cannot get over what an amazing author ruth is. I've been reading Ruth's books for 4 years now. She is my escape from reality and gives me hope on happy ever afters. ❤️
So I needed some cotton candy fluff this weekend, and went back to this series. I accidentally skipped #4, but it doesn't really matter.
Viviana is spunkier, more independent, and more fun than most of the other women in the series, so props for that. I just wish these books had any story beyond the romance.
I love Ruth Cardello and her stories. I have always sat here waiting for release day of a new book in anticipation, cause I know her work is going to be great. With each book she has written they have gotten stronger and better, More Than Love is one of her best works yet. I took time reading this one today cause I didn't want it to end. I wanted to live out the moment. And I am so glad that I did. Pick it up. I promise you will love it.
Came to this series a little late, but Ruth Cardello doesn't disappoint, haven't read anything written by her good self that I've not totally loved, and this Barrington edition is no exception. Grant finds himself the calm, logically thinking, financial wizz trying to find answers for his mother and the family. Along the way he "falls" head over heels, literally for an "ordinary" (read it that'll make you smile) girl in the park, who actually picked him! Vivianna is a breath of fresh air in Grants life amongst all the fraught events over the last few years. This is their adventure, you'll love it, read it!
Great story… but the continuity issues are frustrating
So usually I’d say this is the 5th book in the series… make sure you read them all in order… bigger picture… blah blah blah, and whilst that’s still true… I can’t review this without highlighting some pretty poor continuity mistakes. Namely… the missing brother… and I’m not talking about baby Kent… I’m talking about the fact that several times both in this book and the previous one, Cardello references there being four brothers and a sister. Four brothers in the picture. ‘I’ve got three brothers’… no you actually have four… I know that… every reader of this series knows that… seemingly everyone except the brothers themselves. Let’s count them… Asher, Ian, Grant, Andrew, Lance and then sister Kenzi. So why do they keep missing one? It’s disappointing that the beta readers and editors didn’t pick up on this. It’s very frustrating and really needs to be rectified.
Anyway… I’ve tried not to let it get to me too much because I actually really like Grant. He’s beautifully awkward unless he’s talking business, investment finance or banking. He’s the sensible one. The reliable one. No one thinks he has the credentials to succeed in finding out what happened to his baby brother Kent. But he wants to prove them wrong.
In a bid to improve his people skills he immerses himself into ‘normal’ social situations. He goes for a run to immerse himself into the real world and unexpectedly ends up falling head over heels for a mysterious woman who quite literally bowls him over.
Neither Viviana or Grant are usually known for their spontaneity but there’s a definite instant attraction and sexual tension between them. So much in fact that they end up engaging in a very spontaneous romp in a closet.
They both want more but Grant has so much on his plate that more isn’t something he can offer. He’s due to go to Aruba in search of the truth about Kent, but there’s something that’s going to mean that they are going to be joined together forever.
Unfortunately, Grant’s reluctance to be truthful about his wealth and status causes trust issues between the couple and Viviana ends up believing that the reason for Grant’s sudden disappearing act was because she doesn’t fit into his life.
What she doesn’t know is that Grant’s life is all but imploding. Everything he’s known to true has been thrown into doubt following his trip to Aruba to find out what happened to his brother. However when he returns to the news that he’s about to become a father after the most amazing weekend of his life suddenly nothing else is important. All he wants is to prove himself to the woman who has occupied his head since they met.
It’s going to take a lot for Grant to win Viviana over. She’s upset and still coming to terms with the prospect of becoming a mum. She tells herself she doesn’t need Grant, but there’s still a part of her that wishes he hadn’t hurt her with his awkward honesty.
Can they come together for the sake of their child? Will Grant be able to show Viviana that his intentions are not only honourable but forever. Everything that’s happened over the last few weeks pales into comparison against the prospect of becoming a father and being with the woman he loves.
Of course… we knew these two were going make an amazing couple. I love these two. Viviana is so fun and positive despite all the losses she’s faced. She knows exactly how to encourage the lightheartedly side from Grant and her love for him is so obvious.
The epilogue is very interesting as it brings the ongoing storyline around baby Kent’s death to a shocking conclusion. Can’t wait to read the next one.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I LOVE this series and after reading this book well you will be looking forward to the next one. This book takes the series in a total new direction and it was beyond fantastic. The end was so terrific. I just want to state that if you love the author and you are hooked on the Barringtons well you will just love this story.
This is Grant Barrington's story. He has been mentioned throughout this series as he is the financial genius and made everyone tons of money. This book also has a little Andrades/Legacy Collection in it in that Alathea and Marc get involved in this storyline and we go back and revisit what happened in the last book with Helene, Andrew, her parents and Stiles are back.
This book/series is NOT a stand alone, each story brings you closer to understanding the plot made by Sophia's sister Patrice Andrade. I highly recommend you read them in order otherwise you will be beyond lost.
The basics you will need to understand this story is that 30 years before the Barrington's mother, Sophia (sister is Patrice Andrade) gave birth to twins, Kent and Kenzi in Aruba. She was told Kent died and it devestated her and her husband made everyone believe she was very fragile. So the kids grew up never asking for help and feeling like they could never be themselves with their family and could never upset their mother.
Now 30 years later Sophia is no longer fragile and the kids and Sophia believe that something was wrong with Kent's birth and they have started investigating that. Each child has found out something more and in this book Grant has decided to get involved in the hunt for the truth.
He is working with Marc and Alethea from the Legacy series and Marc tells Grant he is too uppidty and needs to hang out with regular folks. Which is how he meets Viviana, and ends up getting to know her.
I don't want to spoil too much, but I did not like Grant at all in the beginning of this book. In fact I hated him and I have loved every Barrington before him. He was a class A JERK. Viviana was the reason I loved this book. She is sweeyt, naive and a total bad ass and I loved her.
About 60% in Grant gets a clue and starts trying to win her back and thats really when this story kicked in for me. I started liking Grant and I beyond loved the story and where it went after that. This story was written wonderfully and it went very fast as a lot happens in this story. Some parts were glossed over when I'd rather have more details like the first time Viviana meets the Barrington's but it would have made the book too long.
All in all this was a fantastic read and I loved every second of it. I cannot wait for more Barrington's.
Grant Barrington was his family's financial wiz, his siblings' voice of reason and the one who was always stood back instead of taking action. Well all that changed when he was asked to find out what happened to his brother Kent (MacKenzie's twin).
He didn't had time for any distractions while his family needed him but when he met the sexy, fun and beautiful Viviana Slutton. Grant's world was turned upside down.
Viviana Slutton was living with her cousin after her ex-boyfriend stole everything she owned. She closed her heart off to relationships for good, she was all about having fun now. She had an earthshattering affair with the handsome man she met at a bike path.
She felt better than she had in months just as she made peace with her new reality, life threw her a curveball. Viviana received some unexpected life-changing news. Now she didn't know how to move forward.
Grant didn't like the idea of lying to Viviana about who he really was. He planned to tell her the truth after his trip to Aruba but she felt as if he was letting her down which hurt her more than she expected.
He found out some very important information about Kent and how his aunt Patrice had a hand in it. The Barringtons still have hope that their son was alive (a mother's heart never lies).
There was a misunderstanding between Viviana and Grant. The latter did everything in his power to rectify the mistake he unknowingly made. When all was said and done they were more in love than ever.
He met her family and she met his. Sophie and Dale were extremely happy when they met Viviana. The Barrington clan was growing. It was great to see old friends making an appearance.
MORE THAN LOVE, the fifth book in Ruth Cardello's THE BARRINGTON BILLIONAIRES series was fun, adventurous, heartwarming and oh so steamy. Magnificent job by Ruth Cardello. This series keeps getting better and better with each book. 5++++
P. S. Loved all the twists and turns and I'm looking forward to what comes next.
Genre: Romance - Mystery, Suspense, Contemporary Stand Alone: Kind of. The story of Grant and Viviana is but the mystery is definitely a continuing storyline from earlier books in the series Part of a Series: Book 5 of the The Barrington Billionaires POV: Grant and Viviana Steam Level: Quite Toasty at times 4/5
Because this was book 5 in the series and also the first I've read of this series, I was a little confused at the beginning of the book. There is an obviously overlapping storyline throughout all of the books in this series. Since I haven't read any of the other books I did not know the backstory of it or the characters involved and their relationships. However after the first chapter I was caught up enough to get the bigger picture if not some of the more minute details. That was definitely a plus for this book.
I enjoyed Grant and Viviana's story and their banter had me giggling throughout. The interactions between characters (especially Grant's sisters in law and Viviana's brothers) were written so well I could actually see them in my head as I was reading the conversations. And almost anyone with older siblings (or even just siblings) who are in a relationship with someone who has siblings can relate to not only the protectiveness but also the getting to know the significant other or their family.
This is the second book I've read by Ruth Cardello and I really like her work and writing style. Overall a great book with a good mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat. I look forward so going back and reading the rest of this series.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Grant Barrington was a man that showed control no matter the situation. He was tasked with finding out the truth about his brothers death for his family. When he literally stumbles into Viviana, she was just the right amount of chaos to bring him down to earth. She was feisty and he found her completely irresistible. She would let him know when he was being a jackass. She was ordinary in an extraordinary way, a breath of fresh air for him. He'd never had such an intense attraction to another woman but their timing was terrible and when he left to take care of family business and she didn't hear from him she assumed he was gone for good. Then when she finds out she's pregnant she moves home after finding out he's not the person he said he was, he was by far "any name". When he decides he's going to pursue her he faces a lot if resistance from Vivs family . After opening a can of worms about his brother Grant needs a break from his family so he uses that time to woo Viviana. She has a way of bringing out the best in him and when they team up she helps in the discovery of the truth about his brother. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that he loves her. And his family adores her. She has such banter with her brothers I can almost picture my brother. All the money in the world wouldn't change the way she feels about him. Now that they know the truth about Kent maybe the Barrington clan can begin the healing process
Aww. What a sweet, swoony, funny read. I loved this.
This is the 5th story following the Barringtons but I can't see any reason it couldn't be read as a stand alone story. I'd recommend the other books though as they're all great too.
This story follows Grant & Viviana. They meet by chance and their attraction is instant. They give in to their passion but go separate ways. Neither expect to be unable to forget the other I don't think or the reasons that bring them back together.
I loved Grant & Viviana. Grant was endearingly awkward at times but had a bit of an alpha male vibe going on that I wasn't expecting but was great. Viviana had strength and sass and I connected with her immediately.
The secondary characters were also great, especially Viviana's brothers. They were an absolute hoot. I also enjoyed finding out some more about the mysterious Kent along the way too.
This was a great read. The writing was good and the plot flowed nicely. It had everything. Sexy times, romance, emotions and plenty of laugh out loud moments. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and read this in one sitting.
All in all a fantastic instalment to the series. I can't wait to read more from this author. She's up amongst my favourites. She writes great, funny and sweet escapist romance. If that's what you like to read then you can't get much better than this and I'd definitely recommend.
More than Love is Ruth Cardello's fifth book in her Barrington Billionaires series. This stand alone can be read and enjoyed on its own or a part of the series. It is filled with humor and kept me burning through the pages.
Grant Barrington has always helped those he loved, even from a distance. In an attempt to bring his family answers, he feels he must go undercover. Unfortunately, to most he comes off as pretentious and aloof. To prove he is just a "normal guy" he comes up with a calculated plan. What he doesn't expect is just how good it is to take a step on the wild side.
Vivana Sutton moved to Boston for change. She has been living under the thumb of her father and two brothers as well as taken advantage of by her ex. She is done with men in general and wants little to do with them. Her best friend dares her to take a chance and have a wild adventure, little does she know this adventure might just be the change of a lifetime.
Ruth Cardello has an amazing sense of humor, as it shines throughout this story. I found myself laughing out loud and wondering what she would come up with next. She has an incredible way of letting you into her character's mind, which make you fall in love with them even more.
More Than Love is the fifth book in The Barrington Billionaires, it is the story of Grant Barrington and Viviana Sutton. Grant is filthy rich, handsome, smart, sexy and about as spontaneous as the sunrise. He has also been told that he has lost touch with the reality of ordinary people and with the job that his family is counting on him to do, he needs to be just an ordinary person. Viviana is smart, sexy, sassy, tells it like it is and above all else she is honest. Viviana is trying to find herself, without the help of her father and brothers, which by the way are a hoot, and an excellent addition to this story. Viviana soon realizes just how important her family is to her and the interactions between them and Grant are priceless. This book is loaded with fun and family and turns emotional when the mystery of what happened to Kent is finally revealed. The other Barringtons also show up in this book along with a few other characters from previous books, and I was glad to see that although they have grown, some of them have not changed. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and series. Five loving stars for this one!!
Grant is responsible for handling the family’s finances and is the calm sibling who never acts impulsively but rather assesses the situation before taking action however he has been told he needs to connect with ordinary people so he sets a plan in motion.
Viviana has moved to Boston to get away from her overprotective family as well as her stealing ex-boyfriend.
They run into each other in Central Park and their connection is immediate. They spend an explosive night together and go their separate ways but sometimes fate has other plans. When she has some news for him she finds out that he is no ordinary Joe and feeling betrayed returns to her family. Will Grant be able to convince her that it doesn’t matter who he is that his feelings for her are real?
Viviana is feisty and independent while Grant is so logical but together they work. The humor provided by Vivian’s family is a nice touch. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Opposites do attract but don't always realize it.. Grant Barrington.. a rich, very rich handsome stubborn, very intense man, wants to be a "regular Guy". Viviana Sutton, once Burned, twice as shy about relationships meets Grant.. oh many look out.. this isn't gonna be a push over affair. Nope, she's had enough of floor flushers. She want real Love, and all that goes with it next time. Devotion, Honesty, Faithfulness, Trust, A Real Person, not Mr. Make-believe !! She wants More Than Love!! And will Grant Believe in Love for himself? Is the one night stand and the result all there is??
The Barringtons are a Family that has been through much, and each story takes you to another member of the family learning about themselves and finding the real meaning of LOVE and Family!! Thanks Ruth for another great story!!
