Her Last Missed Calls is a short story about a couple Rajiv and Gayatri. Rajiv never wanted to marry. But their fate had something else in store for them. Rajiv and Gayatri got married but Rajiv never loved her as a wife. He never called her by her name, didn't pick her calls or replied to her messages. One day when he reached home he couldn't find Gayatri. How does this incident change his life as well hers?
I really liked this simple and beautiful story. It talks about love and the need to move on. Sometimes when we can't get what we want, it's better to move on and appreciate what we have.
I definitely recommend this short story to everyone!
Yeah it is good book for explaining the love and relationship. Everyone should read once in life for better relationship and understanding for person in your life.
This quickie tale is so good and depicted so well. It would take less than 15 minutes to complete this one and u could grasp the entire plot in a very short span. The characterization of the wife who was ignored by her husband due to the mishap of his past relationship and how the husband and wife reconcile is so augmented. Good narration in a few words.
You don't need a month, a year, a decade to fall in love, a second is enough.
We wait for the best thing to happen to us, whereas mostly its already in progress and we don't look at the right place. After having a bad relationship, I never believed in Love anymore. But this little story, touched me somewhere so deep, I can't even begin to express. I had tears when I completed this book.
I like the author, he expressed something so simple, so beautifully. If we dwell in the past, it'll be our own prison, whereas the present is a wonderful gift for everyone, embrace it. Though I don't read romantic books, I'm more of a hardcore sci-fi reader, I love this book. I like this book a lot because the author didn't put crap in such a beautiful theme, which usually people do, to lengthen the story. He kept it simple, original, something everyone can relate to.
Thank you for writing this. Reading this really changed my view.
I remember those lines when I read this book. This a quick read don't take more than 5mins but stole my heart. This book had a great impact on me, Gayatri is strong and patient for loving her husband even after knowing he may not love her back and Rajeev at last understood her and her importance in his life. Sometimes the person whom someone need will be next to them but they time to realise.
Short Stories have a certain appeal. They are able to capture the beauty, or ideology the author wants to express and showcases it in a few words. But the secret to short stories is the words chosen and the direction the perspective takes.
Her Last Missed Calls is a 10-minute story that tells you the tale of Rajiv and Gayathri. Rajiv comes home one day and discovers his wife missing. What happens then is the rest of the story.
The way the book started got me hooked but the way it went forward, wasn't really well thought of. The story was basic, not a gripping tale as I thought it would be. Then again kudos for trying!

PS: "All I want is for you to love me as I am" Every girls desire.!
A short story about a man named Rajiv who never wanted to get married but had to after he lost the woman he loved. Her Last Missed Calls by A.K. Raj is a story that actually does happen in real life. That moment of panic when someone you love does not answer the phone is all too real. 🦄🦄🦄 Rated 80/100
The story revolves around the simple principle we often forget in life - we realise the importance of something only once it is gone. Read this short and crisp story to understand loss, pain, love and life (though one gets only the drift of it).
I don't know why I asked by kindle to write a review without completing the same. I just completed 5 pages and kindle asked first you review the book then proceed further.
"More tears ran down her cheeks now but they were tears of joy of a woman who stood by her husband, no matter how he treated her,..." Ok, is it possible for anyone to read that line and not have an immediate gag reflex?
The gist: The guy is basically a jerk to his wife, but gets rewarded with her undying and unwavering love and support for him. The girl's lack of self-esteem is clearly an asset because she finally gets rewarded with her husband's acceptance of her (which obviously is the only thing a girl wants in her life). So win-win. Yay! Now, please excuse me while I go vomit.
I rated it over all a 3.5 star. It was a thought provoking story, even kind of sad. The writer's English was different so I knew that they were not a born English speaker. There was a moral to the story. I pray I remember it
