Okay...This was a decent read. BUT I have some things to get off my chest. First...how many nurses do you know live in a trailer park!? Not to mention the fact that her deceased father was an army medic!!!! They should have not been struggling at all financially. All the nurses I know live quite comfortably. Later on it even mentioned that she was a head nurse...and still she lived in a trailer park. Ms. Ethan you need to do your homework on nurses salaries. Dean came off as a big wussy. He acted like a spoiled entitled child who acted out when he couldn't have his way. Plus he was soooooo insecure to the point of annoyance. And call me crazy but there was one scene in the book where it felt...dare I say a little rapey? Honestly it felt like Dean was assaulting Meaghan and she seemed like she was convincing herself that it was okay. Sex is a punk move way to resolve issues regarding communicating with each other. And call me crazy but I'm pretty sure Mount Sinai which is in NY (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) and John Hopkins which is in Baltimore are two different hospitals. In the beginning it seemed like she had her heart set on going to John Hopkins then when she got the job at Mount Sinai it was like a dream come true? That was a few chapters in the first book and it left me confused. Don't get me wrong this book held my interest for some reason, but it felt sometimes all over the place. I paid my 99 cents for this so I was going to finish it. The only character I truly liked in this entire book was Dean's friend Smith....maybe he should get his own story. And call me crazy again but I suspect Ms Etan is a Supernatural fan..DEAN....Smith WINCHESTER....lawyer named CROWLEY....anyone pick up on that?
When something is meant to be no matter how many years pass, destiny and serendipity steps in and waves their wand, bringing the most u likely couple from opposite sides of the track together for what becomes a passionate roller coaster ride of love won, lost and won again. Enjoyable read!

This was an incredibly powerful modern day interracial love story with twist and turns and eventually a one of a kind love adventure that was very refreshing and true to real life experience. Kudos
I love stories that have an inevitable description about the coming together staying strong during all of the conflicts and eventually reaching the happily ever after. I loved this couples struggles to tear them apart but love conquered all in the end.
