The book was okay.
It's overall a fun fast-paced, action-heavy space opera, but it has a number of glaring flaws, both in the writing as well as in the plotting.
Issues with the writing were already named by others, such as the constant replacing of personal pronouns with descriptions (e.g. "The beautiful woman" instead of she or her), and clumsy writing that tries to get the message across in a roundabout way that could really have benefitted from some experienced editing.
None of that is a really serious issue, though. What really took a lot of the fun out of the book were the logical inconsistencies or unbelieveably stupid decision-making by the main characters.
The plotting often has inconsistencies or irrational behaviour that doesn't make sense, up to grossly incompetent decisions by the crew.
Minor Spoilers on these issues:
These and many other hamfisted conflicts not only feel very spontaneous and not very well thought out, they also encourage the reader to dislike the characters for their outrageous stupidity.
Characters don't have to be smart and they can make stupid decisions. But there's a level of stupidity that people with certain experiences simply wouldn't commit, because they know better.
The result is that you often feel the authors hand, randomly forcing things towards a certain direction so that more arbitrary conflict and action can happen. This in turn, however, devalues the subsequent action and leaves the reader with the stale taste of unnecessary conflict as page-filler rather than something you feel invested in.
This severly detracts from an otherwise enjoyable novel that's light on plot and heavy on action, making it, in my opinion, ultimately only an "okay" read.

It got worse
Mr weretiger space Marine spec ops badass just happens to see the flash off a sniper's scope just before he shoots...every time. The vampire can talk to aliens using telepathy and she learns about tunnels under the evil army's camp and...
The characters are wooden, the plot is weak, and the underlying functionality of the universe STILL hasn't been explained. Spaceships 3,000 years in the future, but AK-47, but more futuristic weapons, but pistols...and food is never delivered in smaller quantities than a truck sized shipping container.
The only thing 'paranormal' about the universe is the two main characters...that haven't been explained at all.

After reading the first book in this series I hoped the second book would be a bit less frantic, unfortunately it was equally frenzied and we still didn’t really find out much about the state of their universe.
I quite enjoyed the book, but by the end I was beginning to get a bit frustrated. This started with some of the illogical decisions, especially during the fight with the Alloprize group. I also wish the author would decide what they are doing with their spaceship ‘Persephone’.
The book ends with a bit of a cliff-hanger (which I hate) after another confrontation with the ‘Elaka Nota’ corporation and we still don’t know why Persephone and Eve are worth killing millions of people.
Had it not been for the cliff-hanger ending I would have given this book 3 stars.

This series just gets better with every book. I'm so glad that I got into this. I'm totally digging the chemistry of the trio. I also love the fact that the MC is awesome, but both of the women that are with him aren't just pushovers. They are both legit badass in their own way. It's like watching 3 close friends go on a murderous A-team trip through space to stop keeping up with the Skywalkers (let's be real, is the Skywalkers didn't exist, StarWars would be 1 book.) from destroying the rest of the universe while trying to also stop Area 51 experiments from happening in deep space. It's a decent story for a quick read
Like his other books it's heavy on the action and characters that don't know when to quit. Looking forward to more.
Was a bit annoyed that 20% of this book and the last was part 1 of the destroyer.

Space
The author really should have done A LOT more research on what happens to a pressurized container in space. Space is a vacuum. They are not 20 leagues under the sea.

Another ridiculous story with ware tigers and vampires in space. The story was more intricate than the first, but Earle has a habit of giving the good bits away before they have a chance to unfold by themselves. Still action packed and humorous but not as good as the original.

Good Job
Great sequel. Enjoyed this trip and the plot. If you are looking for a good easy read, this series is worth spending time on.

All kinds of disappointing. Though the story line is good, the characters are lack-luster and one dimensional, except for Z. The writer uses impersonal references when attributing dialogues to characters. 'The vampire woman', for instance, even though he has already told us she the most precious thing in his life. 'The hacker blonde' even though they have become fast friends, instead of simply calling them by their names. And then there is the ubiquitous 'all kinds of' dead, trouble, worry, whatever. Would have been fine if only one character said it, but it was an idiosyncrasy of the narrator and at least one other character. I read this second book with the hopes these irritations would mellow as his writing style progressed, but... 'all kinds of disappointed.'

This has been a good series so far. At least Adam quit saying confirmed every time. I hope that the series gets better or at least poor Adam gets laid. I wonder if Adam is going to have a menage de trois with Eve and Z.

Better than the first book. Would recommend if you're looking for a fast-paced space travel with lots of action!
I enjoyed this book more than the first. The story continues to build and you learn a little more about the characters pasts.

Adam, Z, and Eve arrive on a Western style planet strapped for cash and food. While on the planet they find work from two of it’s well-knowns, John and Cynthia. But not all are as friendly as they seem.
New species are introduced. We learn Persephone has some secrets.
This is a series I will continue to listen to as long as the audiobooks are available and the series stays interesting enough, but will be listening to in-between other books. I feel this series would make a great TV show.
If you can over look the small flaws of the book, you will enjoy it. If you want a fun, fast-paced space travel book with military style action, this series is for you.
*Note: if you are interested in a book my Michael-Scott Earle that has a female viewpoint, I’d highly recommend Wings of Justice (City of Light book 1). This book is one of my favorites and highly underrated.

I'm Still Addicted
I became addicted to this series in ' Eye of the Tiger'. The romp continues with me pulled along in its wake. The chemistry of the characters is outstanding. The deep love between Adam and Eve, enhanced by Eve's telepathy, is not complicated by Z's obvious feelings for Adam. He loves Z like a little sister, but she feels more even though she knows it won't be. The team fights another evil corporation hell bent on enslaving the inhabitants of a moon. Though tempted by riches, they elect to prioritize helping people and fighting evil. Near the end of the book Elaka Nota, the company that they escaped from, has a surprise for them. I anxiously await the next book.

A fun read
If you like clear cut bad guys and enjoyable interesting good guys you will enjoy these stories. I hope to see more of them. It is obviously set up to continue as a series as the scope of the heroic intention is galactic so to speak.
We met them in the first book. They had been enslaved tho corporate callousness and changed from their original forms in interesting ways that only serve to make them more special. They freed themselves of course and added a clever down-on-her-luck computer nerd and a mysteriously powerful space ship.
This is the second adventure and I am pleased at the trajectory of the story and characters.

I was going to give this a three for being well written but so full of tropes, but you know what? I like it. The grammar only occasionally slips, the plots are only vaguely formulaic, and I had a good time. For me these are like a modern literature form of the John Carter books. They're cheap, not that deep emotionally, and plain fun to read. I swear that it's like trying to read an action film or a video game, but that's fine. If it wasn't in the kindle unlimited library or wasn't about a were-tiger in space then I probably never would have found it, and that's okay. This is my literature junk food, or the salad to clean my palate between the real courses.

The story continues to be fun and engaging. The characters have given you snippets of themselves and have created enough interest where I will read more. The reason it has four stars vs five is pretty simple. I abhor cliffhangers. Maybe the author believed it didn't end that way, not sure how. If you are going to have such a thing, the next book needs to already be waiting. If the story were not so good, it would be different, you could say meh... but it is. I only recommend waiting for the next installment before reading this one.

Again, good plot and story line. Got a little ridiculous with the gun battles however. In one a sniper using a rifle punched a hole in his back, and removed a watermelon size piece from his stomach area, cutting his spine. He lives and recovers in a few minutes. Again he has an arm shot off, and has some one hold it on while it heals and reattaches and is working in just a few minutes. Going a little overboard with the gunshot wounds and healing ability. This is a clean book that I can recommend to my granddaughters. That I like a lot.

Love the main characters and love the fast pace most times. But, I lost track of some character movements. Perhaps that was me but I began to suspect that the writer let the pace set the scenes rather than the other way round.
The characters while still fun lose some of the solidity and dignity created in the first book. Some things need a slower time frame to more fully mature. These characters are worth that and deserve that.
Peppy little book that has me rooting for the good guys.

What is worse than an author that purposely delays a relationship? An author that is writing a polyamory story and purposely delays all the relationships? Yeah, this is happening. Frankly I don't care if the MCs don't hook up, but if you aren't going to write about them hooking up, stop writing anything about it. It got old after the second "I love you but I love her, but I love you, but I love her" conversations. It is REALLY old after the fourth or fifth! Make it a harem story or shut up about it!

Fun, Enjoyable Romp Thru Space w/Vampire Witch
Earle has written a great story of paranormal space adventure. I found it to be very enjoyable, and funny at points. This is book 2 of a series (IIRC), and I found more action than I was expecting as well. The action is serious, the romance is also serious at times, but somewhat awkward, since three people are involved...

Intriguing and New
A were-tiger, a vampire, and a cyberpunk hacker walk into a bar. No, really. This series takes some tropes and turns them around in very interesting ways. Couple that with a well-edited and well-written story, loads of bloody action, a little heart, a dash of humor, and it makes for something to follow for sure. Recommended.

An Extent Sequel
I like how Eve's powers are growing, and how Adam and her are growing as characters. I hope that not only that next book will be published soon, but that Adam also becomes more powerful in his weretiger form. Also Z is as funny as ever and it's interesting to see her become a bit braver then she was in the last book.

Space Witch is a fun, fantasy, space adventure with a vampire, a tiger shifter, a hacker, and a pretty amazing spaceship.
This is the second book in the series that began with Eye of the Tiger. While the books work best together, they can be enjoyed independently as well.

Great second book
Well, this was a really interesting second book in this series.
The action was great and the way the three MCs worked together was good.
The twist at the ending really caught me by surprise. I really wanted to see Adam eat Cynthia.
Poor Z, let’s see if the girl will be able to eat in the next book.

Wars Supplies and BBQ
Oh boy the first planet they escape to has 2 ranchers and rhodium miners waging a war against Alloprice. Here we meet a cyborg and the Children of Rah along with humans. The main goal was to get food and supplies..well they got one of those and I won’t tell you which lol it was a heck of a journey. In the next episode our team land on The Queen’s Hat St.

I liked this book. The action was enticing and engaging. I was disappointed that we didn't get a more personal end to Cynthia. I am definitely going to read the next installment. I want to find the back story of Eve and Persephone

After our trio of heroes escape they decide to stop at a trading planet to replenish supplies and maybe add a few crewmen to their new ship. Little do they know, they have entered into a dispute between 2 factions that is going to make this a difficult stop for Adam, Eve and Z. Lots of action!
