Rate this book
Nova P is back and still in the process of healing. Knowing that the man she so deeply loves is the son of the man that took her sister away, she's conflicted with herself on whether or not she can move forward. Not only is she hit with such turmoil, she also learns that justice wasn't served and her mother is now a free woman. Is she able to beat the odds and move on with her life? Or is it all too much to bare?

KeJuan is stuck between a rock and a hard place. After learning that the man he has always looked up to has a secret vendetta against him, he is deterred from the good guy and forced to go back to the street vet he once was. Will he stand by Nova's side when she needs him most? Or has he given up on all the baggage that she comes with and choose his family?

Dream is awaiting the arrival of her unborn child yet problems are coming her way left and right. Finding out that her mother isn't the loving woman she always thought she was takes Dream for a disorganized loop and the bad outweighs the good. Will Dream be able to hold it together? Or does the fact that her life was all a lie, become her downfall?

In the finale of The Beat of my Heart, you will see that family can be your biggest downfall.

Good ending

Good ending to the series. From beginning to end there was a little bit of everything., the good, the bad, and definitely the ugly. I am really happy for Nova. She went through so much and she truly deserves to be happy. Not just her, but everyone else as well. They all endured their share of drama. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. But that's the way life goes sometimes. I'm just glad that they didn't let it destroy them.

Perfect ending!!

I loved this book and watching how everyone overcame their struggles and trials. It was great to see everyone mature and learn the importance of forgiveness. This book showed how you can't truly move forward while still holding grudges from the past. Juan was the perfect man for Nova, and Savior was the perfect man for Dream. Each couple was able to help each other get through their problems through the love they gave. This was an awesome series. Can't wait for Dream and Savion's story.

Great read

This was a great continuation from pt 1. A lot of things got answered in this part. I'm glad everyone who deserved happiness got it. The same night Dream mother died she gave birth to her daughter which her mom and sister was watching over. Justice redeemed herself. This was a breast ending.

A nice way to close out a series. I'm happy that Nova found her happy place and Juan was there with her to help her through it. I loved Dream and Nova's friendship it was something that was built to last. I really enjoyed this series and I'm happy that everything came full circle. I can't wait for Dream & Savion story.

Kia Meche you are bomb.com of all your books that I have read, Numb 1-2 are my favorite so far. Numb definitely shows your growth as a writer and I so proud to call myself one of your fans. Keep dropping that fire boo, and thanks for giving Nova the happily ever after that she deserved. #juanisbae

Well written ending to series. It was good to see the characters faced & conquered their problems, especially Nova. Dream was given a blessing although she was met with sadness. I was happy for Nova & Juan. Great read

Inspirational.

I loved this series. I cried throughout the story. I could see the character's growth. I have always believed that just because you share the same bloodline does not make you family. I am looking forward to Dream and Savion's story.
