Following Temptation

Rate this book
Temptation waits just around the corner. Follow and see where it leads. Life is good for Michael and Laura Richards, if a little stale. That is, until Michael follows his neighbor, Dane, to the house of the married Jessica, and watches Dane take full advantage of the voluptuous brunette. Michael shouldn't watch, but he can’t stop himself, and the veneer of his sleepy suburb peels away to reveal its naughtiness. Michael confesses the adventure to his wife, Laura, and the couple embarks on a journey of sexual awakening, following Dane and Jessica into a world that is as uncomfortable as it is irresistible. But there are layers within layers, and when Laura befriends Jessica and learns that not everything is as straightforward as it seems, just how far is she willing to follow her neighbor? Prepare yourself for a tale of voyeurism, naughty neighbors, sexy wives, and illicit temptation.

Come On Honey, Let’s Spy On Them.

Husband and wife stumble onto their neighbor seemingly having an affair with the neighborhood single stud. Together they set out to spy on them in order to confirm the affair. Trying to decide if they should make the husband aware.

They finally discover that maybe the husband knows after all. It riles up their own bedroom antics and some hidden fantasies are revealed. Finally leading to being caught spying and the wife being enticed to join in.

Kind of a neat twist that our main characters make the journey together. I loved that they are committed to one another and neither go beyond their limits.

Unlike so many other hotwife tales the wife didn’t turn into an over the top slut. Good job Kenny of keeping everything believable but scorching hot too.

Following Temptation is a real slow burner from the pen of Kenny Wright. Mr Wright is a skilled and accomplished author who writes hot stories, where time is taken to develop characters and build tension.

The story is set in the imaginary town of Kington and revolves around a happily married couple called Michael and Laura. Michael’s curiosity is peaked when he sees a guy called Dean enter a married neighbours house. Michael watches the couple having adulterous sex through a gap in the fence. That incident is the catalyst for a whole train of events that set the happy couple on a course of exploration that neither had ever envisaged.

Kenny Wright is not afraid to take things slow. As the characters learn about themselves the tension gradually builds to an inexorable crescendo that will change Michael and Laura’s lives forever.

Somewhere between the sordid past of our grandparents that was Peyton Place, and the free-for-all marital utopia that's located in Nowhere is a small suburban town called Kingston. It's got plenty of character and full of nice, family-oriented people...and brimming over with insatiable lust. A bedroom community with a lot going on secretly in the bedroom. Somehow Kenny Wright discovered this community of secret lovers and desires and made friends with a few and got them to tell their stories.

This gem of a story follows a husband and wife who stumble upon the secret lives of their neighbors and friends, and discover that they too are intrigued by sexual behaviors that don't seem to stop with saying "I do." Little by little, their curiosity leads them closer to discovering the truth behind neighbors' hidden lives...and questioning the heart and soul of their commitment to each other in the process.

Kenny Wright once again proves himself as a master of hotwife and voyeurism literature with this delightful gem of a book. Hopefully there will be more stories emerging from the "sleepy" town of Kingston, both from him and longtime collaborator Kirsten McCurran. A must read.

Exciting & Fun

Kenny Wright is always a solid read. The couple at the heart of this story are attractive but not so stellar as to seem not "like us." The inadvertent discovery that a neighbor and family friend is having a sexual relationship with another neighbor and friend both startles and energizes the couple. Hubby, of course, lurches between excitement and fear at the prospect of his own wife following suit. This is familiar territory for Wright, and he does it well. If you've read a Wright novella before, this will feel familiar, but it won't spoil the fun of watching the couple move from discovery to titillation to resolution.

This is apparently the first of several novellas about this suburban community. The shared setting could be enjoyable or a feels-forced artifice that ends up being more fun for Wright's cadre of writers than for us as readers. But in this first entry, Wright's community seems a promising hotbed of secrets with lots of bedrooms and poolside to explore.

Kenny Wright hits the sweet spot again with a tale of wife-sharing in the suburbs. Wonderful slow build as a couple discovers the thrills of neighborhood voyeurism, catching sight of an adulterous wife they had thought to be impeccably pure. Cue the reconsidering of their own monogamy, to captivating effect.

Kingston or Swingtown?

Unlike other authors of the genre, Kenya Wright, took extra time to develope his characters and a believable story line in "Following Temptation ". I was well pleased with the result. This is a book I'd definitely recommend to other readers of the hotwife lifestyle.

Lovely build

Nice slow build up of a well written more believable story . Worth spending the money on instead of these rip off short Novell s that even the well known authors have resorted too. Keep writing decent stories like this one.
