As the Cosa Nostra has command of the distribution of heroin in the Tucson area, Cassidy assembles her team of investigators to track down the local bad guys, while she and Breecie fly to Catherine’s beloved Rome and attempt to locate her son and perhaps her true cremains. Journeying from Rome to Florence, the duo finds themselves in Monteriggioni tracking down evidence that proves Bibbione’s pregnant mistress was also dead, slaughtered with the dead child removed, in a likely clumsy attempt to stop a paternity test. As the body count rises the two friends rack up the evidence, until inevitably, they end up kidnapped themselves. This well-executed thriller/crime-fiction tale not only takes us on a tour of Italy but also on a tour inside of the mind of a sociopath, as presented by author Corriere with her trademark twists and turns that keep the reader in a tailspin until the end.

International Twists and Turns!

Once again Lala Corriere spins a great mystery! Just when you think you've got it all figured out, she throws in a new continent and a new killer! I love Cassidy Clark, PI, Lala is very good at adding depth to all of her characters. The research and unique subject matter make each one of her books exceptional. Definitely a great summer read!

There is nothing like TRACKS. It's a page-turner, for sure. Took a minute to get used to its first-person presentation, but after I did, wow! You can really get into the head of Cassidy Clark, a beautiful and daring woman. If you like suspense, investigations, and the Arizona desert, you may love this book as much as I did.
