Keeping someone’s secret tore my life apart. I’ve paid retribution and now I’ve got to get my life back in order. I’ve made enough mistakes and now I need to spill my secrets to make those I’ve wronged and have them understand why I did what I did.
Upon my release from prison, I made a set of goals—none of them included a raven-haired beauty who spoke her mind. I didn’t intend to have someone in my life romantically, but fate brought us together and I couldn’t ignore the attraction any longer.
What I didn’t know was that she would teach me that one of my goals could have a different meaning. Now, my life is opposite of how it used to be; I’m no longer the man who gambles, drinks and sleeps around.
With the strength of her by my side, I can do anything.

Tarrah Anders brought this series home the right way with Freezing! I am addicted to it and binge read for 2 days. I absolutely love Brad and Mika! They fit together perfectly, and Tarrah Anders’ writing always makes me feel like I’m right there in the story with them. I’m excited to read anything else she publishes!
Arc provided by author for honest review. So first thing first I hated Brad in the last. I thought that he deserved everything that happen to him. Losing his family and going to prison. Now I have done a complete 180 where Brad is concerned. I still think what he did was wrong on all accounts. But he he did his time so what's done is done. Tarrah woman I don't know how you did it but I thought there was no way at all you dedeem Brad to my liking but woman you have exceeded my expectations for Freezing and I'm so damn proud of you! Now Minka I love the girl, everything about her about her she just reminds me of myself with the no filter thing. But she's amazing in every way. Thank you for winning me over I told you it was gonna be tough but you proved me wrong and I couldn't be happier with the out come!
The Melted Series is one of the best series that I’ve read this year. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars overall. I read these books in under two days because I couldn't put them down. Three different but equally amazing stories that absolutely captivated my heart. I loved the difference between each character and each book. I loved how these men fought for love and weren't afraid of showing it. I’m a mega fan of reading books that portray strong female characters and this series shows it in such a beautiful way. Frozen Over and Froze are available now. Freezing will be released January 3th, so make sure you go pre-order it now🚨
I think this might be Tarrah’s best book yet. I may have a strange love for romance novels where the Hero is recently released from prison, but this book is so good! I love the plot and how it ties everything together. And it’s hot hot hot too. Brad and Mika are great characters...and now I’m super curious about hot ginger Reed. Fingers crossed the series isn’t done yet!
I received this book as an ARC . I love Tarrah's writing, and love the Maddox brothers. Brad's story is really just heartbreaking. He struggled with what happened from the previous books which landed him in prison and this 3rd book, he is able to explain what and how he was feeling. I wish it was a bit longer, but am happy with the way it ended. From beginning to end, you just want such good things to happen for this guy because prison changed him is so many ways and he just wants to do right in his life. I love that there was a Jacob chapter. Overall I was enlightened and enjoyed Bradfords story. Glad he got his happy ending.
This is book 3 in the Melted Series about the Maddox Brothers, and we finally get Brad's story. While he screwed up in the pervious books and hid the fact that he was actually their half-brother instead of the lie he's told of being their cousins. Now he's being released from prison early after being in jail for perjury. He has nothing and knows it's going to be hard starting over, but he has three goals in mind. One, get a job. Two, follow the law and make a life for himself. And three, family. He didn't think about another woman, or even getting involved with someone until he could meet his goals, but fate has other plans.
This was a sweet story, with a cute couple that really emphasized second chances. It was a perfect way to conclude the series!
Freezing the third novel in the Melted series by Tarrah Anders. This is my fourth novel by this author. In the last book in the series, we see Brad Maddox, who has gone to jail. When he finally released, he just wants to do right and change his life around. He really isn’t looking for a relationship. After lying to Jacob and Tyson about being their cousin, when he is really their half brother, he really just wants to the feeling of being accepted but knows that he ruined that opportunity.
Enters Mika, who makes him rethinks being in a relationship and helps him turn his life around. Mika also has a son named Jared, who is so cute.
With this being the last book, I had mixed feelings about this book, mainly because I didn’t want this series to end. I always enjoy series that intersect the characters that you previously read about, and you see them again, and how their relationships change with the characters.
Brad wasn’t a favorite of mine in the previous novels, but he really redeemed himself and I felt for him. I just really wanted him to get his life together and find himself. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
Freezing (The Melted Series Book 3) by Tarrah Anders is the third book in her The Melted series. I would highly recommend reading this series in order. It will help enrich your enjoyment of this series. I enjoyed the previously two books in this series and I enjoyed this one just as much. This author's writing skills are easy flowing and the plot she has created is amazing. I enjoyed her attention to details as well. They just pulled me into the story with ease and help my attention until the last page. Her characters are well written, connectable and lovable. In this book we get to see Brad's story. His story is about getting second chances and showing that just because you make a mistake doesn't make you a bad person or that your life is over. He is just being released from prison and is determined to do three things with his life, one – get a job, two – follow the law and three – get his life together. He would like a family but is determined to get the other three things done first but what will happen when fate has something else in mind for him? Then you have her! She was not in his plans but he just can't seem to resist her. Will she show him that goals can have two different meanings? She seems to give him new meaning to life but will he go back to old ways? Both of these characters are so lovable and their attraction is off the pages. He is trying so hard to change and make his life better but when he realizes that he needs her to keep it together, what will happen? They will take you on some twists and turns that you won't see coming but they will keep you wanting to know what will happen next. He has some trust issue and is a little insecure but I enjoyed seeing him grow with this story. At first, I wasn't quite sure what to think about him but by the end, he made me change my mind. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what Brad's story is and if there is a happy ending!
I knew that “Maddox cousin” wasn’t a bad guy after all.
This is a quick read that concludes the “Melted” series. There was something about Bradford that drew me to him when he was first introduced. I knew there had to be more to the story and I’m glad we finally got to find out what is going on. Side note: it must be hard for people to get back into the mainstream of life after incarceration. Google shares everything with everyone.
Mika is the type of girl who seems to bring joy to everyone. Her broken filter makes her say some super funny stuff and it was fun to watch her kind of fumble her way into a relationship.
As with the other books in this series, the character development is strong and you know everyone’s motives; there is no guessing or beating around the bush. The story flows nicely and has a very succinct beginning, middle and end. I am super satisfied with how this series concluded.
A note to the author. The epilogue melted my heart, I hope we get to read his story someday in the future.
Freezing the last installment of The Melted Series.... bitter sweet.... That's what comes to mind when I think about this book. Bitter because it's the finale book in the series and sweet because this was my absolute favorite of the three.... Brad... What can I say about Brad? He use to be my least favorite of the guys but after seeing this softer side of him he is my favorite. This is a book about second chances and finding love when you don't plan on it. Tarrah Anders again did an excellent job with this one. She creates a story that draws you in and makes you feel part of their lives. The character development in this book is by far the best of the three. And the storyline even better. Great book and even better series
A story of self journey and redemption in the highest. There was a lot riding on this 3rd installment of the Melted Series. Following the literal powerhouses that we’re Tyson and Jacob Maddox, Bradford had big shoes to fill and boy did he! The Brad we met in the last two books was not one that I thought I would want a story about if I’m honest. He didn’t seem like a character I would want to root based on some choices he made. But it was the consequences to those choices that morphed him into the perfect hero to love. I enjoyed reading his struggle to find who is meant to be by his choice and not what was expected of him before.
His progression from the last book to this one was beautiful. I just adored seeing how he created his own path after a serious mishap and found something in Mika as well. Their relationship is goals in my opinion.
Are they perfect? No Do they have problems to work though? Sure Do they both go through personal struggles to be together? Yup Are they hotter than a bon fire on the sun? Oh yes!
Mika’s awkwardness is so endearing and relatable without seeming weak. There is such strength in her, though quiet it’s there. Their progression separately and personally is a joy to read. Honestly I can’t say a bad thing about this book expect that it ended. I never wanted it to, I would love to see more from these characters in the future because I loved them all that much! -Mackenzie
Freezing (Melted Series book 3) by Tarrah Anders 5 stars
This is the third book in this series, while it can be read as a standalone, as it does recap some of the details of previous books, I highly recommend reading the first 2 as they were amazing reads! Brad is getting out of jail and starting over. Meeting Mika, throws him for a loop. He's not looking for a woman, as he doesn't trust his judgement anymore, but fate has other plans as they run into each other quite often. As Brad and Mika become closer and their pasts get laid out to each other, will it bring more trouble, or will they be able to weather through the storms that come?
I loved this book and seeing previous characters. I'm so sad this was the final book in this series, I really enjoyed every book.
Freezing is Book 3 in The Melted Series written by Tarrah Anders. This story alternates between Brad and Mika’s point of view they are the two main characters. There are quite a few other characters that you are introduced to and reintroduced to along the way. Brad and Mika have an interesting relationship but manage to maintain a good relationship with the ups and downs you tend to come across with any relationship. The story line is strong and steady, it flows well and is clear with where it’s going. All the stories are well written and relate to one another Brad’s main goal is to move forward and in a positive way fixing mistakes as he goes but can all his mistakes be fixed?
Freezing is the third book in the Melted Series by Tarrah Anders. In this book, we get the answers as to why Bradford Maddox did what he did. I wasn’t Brad’s biggest fan at the end of Froze but halfway through this book, my heart broke for Brad. Mika is the perfect match for Brad, never held his past against him, and just loved him unconditionally. Like his brothers, Brad and Mika knew how to steam up a bedroom too. Tarrah, this was a beautiful story about second chances and forgiveness; the perfect ending for the Maddox Brothers.
This is Tarrahs BEST work yet!!! I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with Brad Maddox! The story of him and Mika was beautiful and about getting a second chance at life and learning from your mistakes and also about forgiveness! I greatly enjoyed this story so much! It’s super hot and sexy and beautiful moments of family and finding love!!!
The Melted Series is the last book in the series and what an amazing ending it was! Loved the story! Bradford Maddox better known as Brad has made mistakes and has paid for them, now wants to make things right! Mika comes into Brad's life, and love blossoms between the two of them, these two are perfect together in and out of the bedroom! Mika made me laugh saying things that she was thinking and not meant to say out aloud! Fantastic ending! Look forward to more by Tarrah!
I still can’t believe the final installment of the Melted Series is finally here! But as much as it was hard to say goodbye to these colorful cast of characters, Freezing was the perfect conclusion to this amazing series. Tarrah Anders never seizes to amaze me with her impeccable writing and compelling storyline. She definitely didn't disappoint! This story personifies everything that I love about this author's romances and so much more. Freezing is an unforgettable love story that will captivate you from beginning to end! Since reading Frozen Over and Frozen, I’ve always been curious about Bradford Maddox. To be completely honest, I wasn’t a big fan of his character in the beginning of the series. But after the incidents that had transpired in the second book, I become more sympathetic towards him and intrigued in the reasoning behind his actions. I had a feeling that there was so much more to his story than I had initially thought. I was definitely not prepared for the secrets that would soon be revealed throughout the story. My perception of Brad has completely changed and I must admit that my love for his character has grown much more in this book. After seeing his journey towards redemption and his relationship with Mika, I couldn’t help in falling in love with him. He’s the ultimate book boyfriend because he’s caring, dependable, lovable and downright sexy! Not to mention, the man can also cook. Who doesn’t love a hot guy with culinary skills?! The sexual chemistry and bond between Brad and Mika made their love story even more compelling. One of things that I loved about this couple was seeing how they dealt with the challenges in their relationship especially with Brad’s insecurities and trust issues. It made these characters even more endearing and relatable. Overall, this story was a highly delectable and entertaining read. So don’t miss out on this sweet and compelling love story!
This is the third story in the Melted Series by Tarrah Anders and is a great final instalment. This book is about Bradford Maddox, cousin to Tyson and Jacob. You learn of Bradford in the first two books but do not know his full story. He is portrayed as the party animal that entices Jacob to party and drink lots. Bradford is continuously trying to fit in with the two brothers in the first two books while keeping his secret hidden. His secret is used against him as blackmail which causes him to spend time in jail. This book starts with Bradford getting out of jail after spending three years there and losing everything he tried to protect. He meets with his Parole Officer, Reed, and has decided to get his life back. He meets Mika, Reed's sister, at the Parole Office and life takes a different course than he had planned. Bradford gets a job, starts a relationship with Mika and gets a chance to reconcile with his brother's. A great read with many highs and lows. Bradford was portrayed as not as good as Tyson and Jacob but this book is his redemption. You mat hate Bradford from the second book but this book will have you giving him a chance and falling in love with him.
Freezing is the third book in The Melted series. This book in the series centers around Bradford Maddox and Mika Crutcher. Brad is focused on getting his life back together and isn’t planning on starting a relationship but he’s taken off guard when he meets Mika. While neither one of them was expecting it their chemistry was too much to ignore. Brad has a lot of trust issues he must work through and Mika can’t deny the attraction she feels for him. This was a great story and ending to the series. The characters were all relatable and endearing. Both of them had secrets and pasts issues to overcome. The progression of Brad and Mika’s relationship was paced just right, they faced obstacles and challenges that most couples don’t but have to choose if their relationship is worth it. While I really liked Mika’s character and her personal strength, I couldn’t help really caring about Brad and being sympathetic because of all he had been through. I really enjoyed the writing style of the author. The dialogue was realistic and Mika’s lack of filter made for some humorous conversations. I especially enjoyed the relationship between her and her brother. I recommend this book and this series. Overall Freezing is a must read and the perfect ending to The Melted Series.
I seriously loved this book! Actually had a day of relaxing and being super lazy and read this entire book in that one day! I didn't wanna put it down! This is the 3rd and final book in the Melted series and it wrapped up the Maddox boys perfectly!! Freakin' love all 3 of them, but I have to admit, Brad stole my heart in this one!! The journey of where he came from, what he did, why he did it, and how he puts his life back together after prison is an amazing, emotionally filled journey for sure! Him and Mika made a seriously hot but also really adorable couple! I also loved getting to see a little of the other Maddox men and their women again!! 5 stars for Freezing and 5 stars for the Melted series as a whole!!!
I loved this book. The third book in the Melted series has it all. Brad is a character I didn't always like in books 1 and 2, but he redeems himself 100 times over in Freezing. He's been released from prison, remorseful and determined, looking for a fresh start. He's a character I grew to love as the book progressed in a perfect tale of redemption and second chances. It has a more serious feel, but Tarrah Anders' wit and playful tone make a welcome appearance in Mika's character. She's funny and supportive, and a little awkward. Far from perfect with baggage if her own. She's an awesome balance to Brad's more serious character.
Like others, I'm sorry to see this series end. Tarrah Anders has a gift for storytelling and I've enjoyed every moment of these books!
Freezing is the third book in The Melted Series by Tarrah Anders and I think her best in the series. Sadly it is the last book in the series but what a great ending. Tarrah’s writing is easy and her attention to detail is what helps make her writing flow. I enjoyed the world and the plot she created and her characters are heartfelt, lovable and so easily connectable. This is a wonderfully beautiful story about second chances forgiveness and reconnecting with family and love.
Freezing was my favorite book in this series! While I loved the previous two couples in the first two books, I really feel in love with Brad and Mika. I felt their story was real and I connected immediately. Despite Brad's wrong doings and mistakes he deserved a second chance. Him and Mika were perfect for each other. I love the road their story took and it's ending!
Freezing (The Melted Series Book 3 ) By Tarrah Anders
Freezing (The Melted Series Book 3 ) By Tarrah Anders is the third book in her Melted Series. I absolutely loved this series and highly recommend you read this series in order . It'll give you a better idea of things going on and you get to meet other characters and fall in love with them as well.I literally read this in one setting, once I started I couldn't put it down. I was sucked in and was on the edge of my seat praying everything would work put for Brad..This story is about getting second chances and to prove to not only yourself ypu can change. Brad made a terrible mistake and by making this mistake he lost everything that meant anything to him.Its now been several years and he's being released early. Things are about to change even more, hopefully for the better. He's got three goals he'd like to accomplish first off he needs a job, second he's going to abide by the law and three, get his life together and hopefully right some wrongs. He'd like a family but wants to meet these goals first.Brad still has some demons he's trying to fight off. Then there's Mika she's not only about to be thrown off her axis but Brad is as well. These two have chemistry from the beginning. First time they see each other, he knows there's something different about her but can he trust his instincts? It's funny how fate works sometimes, like when you just keep running into each other. How long can they resist each other? These two are good for each other especially if he can learn to trust that not all women are the same.I love Mika and her non filter I was laughing so hard at points.Brad is a lovable character once you get to know him.God I loved this book I can say this one is my favorite so far of this authors, it's hard to explain why but I recommend you read this book no the whole series to find out if these to get a happy ending they both deserve. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Freezing (The Melted Series Book 3) by Tarrah Anders 5 Stars I absolutely positively loved this series! This, the 3rd book was the perfect addition to this story. I couldn't wait for this and now that I've read it I want to go back and read them all again. I knew that there had to be more to Brad's story than how it was left in Book 2, and oh what a story it was! Brad spent the last 3 years in prison for a crime that ruined his life, he lost who he used to be and the family he loved. Now that he has been released he has new goals in life and needs to stay focussed on those goals. What he wasn't expecting was to meet Mika. I loved Mika, she was quirky and had no filter on the things that would come out of her mouth. The attraction these two felt for each other was immediate but being attracted to someone, then trusting them is what got him in the mess he is in and even though she seems like a good person, how could he ever trust another. He just needs to stay on track, but everytime he turns around he is running into her again...Could he trust another? Can he get past what happened to him causing him to lose everything that mattered? Having the characters from book 1 and 2 show back up in this book was awesome, I missed them, and this a second chance story was written beautifully, and I will be rereading this series more than once. I loved the style of writing and how the stories all just flowed so that before you knew it you were done. I highly recommend these books be read in order to be able to appreciate Brads story completely, but in order or not you have to read these books, they are AMAZING!! Another favorite author to add to my collection :)
Freezing by Tarrah Anders is the final book in the Melted Series and follows the Maddox's cousin Brad and his changes in his life since leaving prison.
Brad has been a secondary character in the first two books but this truly shows his character in a different light and for me makes him more caring and a lovable person, this book made me change my mind completely.
Brad holds a secret of the family but will he be able to continue within the family once being released from prison he has three goals he needs to achieve, get a job, keep on the straight and narrow and get his life in order. He believes once he has achieved these goals he will become whole again, until he meet Mika. Brad does not need anymore complication in his life but at the end of the story Brad needs her more as a grounding influence and will do anything to keep her.
I am sad this is the last book in this series as each of the stories have added to the next one to get to this finally story of Brad and it is clever that I believe the author set this character up to be so flawed at the beginning for you not really liking him to then write this wonderful story of a caterpillar turning in a butterfly. The story was charming, sweet and loved every minute of it.
I love this author and would recommend the two other books in this series, although you are supposed to read as a series they can in some way be read as stand alone books and although each story progresses to the next story, they are well written to track the individual stories as independent books but to be honest once you have read the first book you will be wanting to read the rest within days, I read this series in 2 days.
Freezing by Tarrah Anders is the third book in her Melting series, and this one was just as amazing as the first two. I cannot get enough of this series. Getting to meet the final Maddox in this series, Bradford, who had been eluded to throughout the other books was interesting as his character originally wasn’t the most appealing. The way that his character develops with Mika, the raven-haired beauty who got him to change his ways, was fascinating. I loved to see the two of the develop something deeper than what was eluded to in the other books. The secrets that come to light during this book, will tie in any and all loose ends from the other books, really making the series complete. I was both really excited for this book, and sad to see the series coming to an end. But getting to watch the relationship unfold and grow between Mika and Brad was amazing, it really showed that love has restorative properties, and can make even the most unlovable character someone that you want to fall for. As with book one and two, Tyson, Allison, Jacob and Beth have cameos in this book, and their storylines continue as well. While this book can be read outside of the series I highly recommend this be read in order with the other books. The background story on Brad that grows in this series really made this story come to life, and I would hate for readers to miss out on that aspect. If you are looking for a great series with amazing characters and plot lines than this is the series for you. I can’t wait to see what Anders comes up with next, because I will be first in line to buy it for sure.
Freezing by Tarrah Anders is the last installment of The Melted Series. Again this part can be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend reading them from the start.
Brad Maddox had just been released from prison after serving three years for lying in court in a divorce trial, which cost him his life and the family that he had left. Why did he lie? To stop a secret, that he'd kept for so long coming out. A secret that could destroy everything that he was given. By lying he destroyed it anyway. Can he get everything back? Maybe he can, with the help of a optimistic, raven haired beauty who spoke her mind. But can he trust her?
Mika Crutcher, an optimistic cardiac nurse who loves to help people, meets Brad when he attends a meeting with his parole officer - who just happens to be Mika's brother. There is an instant attraction, something about him that she likes even though she knows who he is, she's giving him a chance - after all there are two sides to every story. She's funny, witty and is honest, sometimes just blirting things out without thinking. But is she keeping something from Brad?
At the end of Froze, I didn't like Brad's character but he grew on me throughout Freezing. After everything that has happened to him, he still wants to make it right. I loved the growing chemistry between Brad and Mika and the playful banter that they share.
This was the perfect ending to The Melted Series, I enjoyed reading all three instalments - I just wish there was more.
Freezing is book three in the Melted Series by Tarrah Andres. Although these books don’t have to be read in order it is helpful as Brad, the main character of this book, is introduced as a secondary character throughout the previous two.
Brad finally has the chance to get his life back on track. Out of prison and with a plan to turn things around he cannot allow for any distractions. Until he meets her. She doesn’t fall into his plans and yet he can’t seem to deny her. Finding that rather than preventing him from moving forward Mika is the one to give him the strength to achieve what he wants.
Having read book one of the series Brad was a character I found I didn’t want to that much. However the way the author portrays him and develops him throughout this book took me by surprise. I found the more I read the more I wanted to read about him and the more I liked him. Him and Mika worked well together and the story carried them well. I wish I had read book two but I definitely enjoyed this book.
