This book follows Kay Hirai's journey from being a young child living in Japan, to becoming a successful and respected business owner in Seattle, USA.
Throughout the book Kay talks about the numerous difficulties she had to keep her business afloat, to how she finally succeeded.
Kay is one determined woman! She shows how she wouldn't let anything beat her on her journey. She also talks about the importance of treating people with respect, and he importance of loyalty.
Kay also looked at a different way of keeping good staff. Plus how training beca,e a important part of her role.
Good job Kay!
