My Review

Blood Seeker is book seven in the immortal curse series its a continuation of Caro and Sethio’s story that we began way back, here we finally get some closure for these two.
They are finally reunited here as bonded mates with some explosive results.
And they still have it all going on for them there fire and chemistry is still red-hot and pulsing with such vivid intensity.

The reunion here made my heart so very happy.
It hurt so bad where we left these two previously with only half their story complete and them both suffering.
I do understand why it had to be this way but it was just so sad and tragic all the same.

So we discover Stas isn’t the only one with holes in their memory and this volume is all about misinformation and I was shocked more than once with where this went.
What you think you know will be turned on its head here as secrets and lies come to light totally changing the whole playing field for all involved.

I’m seriously impressed with how this has been all woven together.
The attention to detail and world-building here is intricate and fabulous.
Story arcs converged and new ones were also formed as this took off taking us on a journey of discovery.
I’m excited and anticipating the next book in this thrilling series already.
The epilogue here only whetting my appetite for more.

This was fabulous you do need to read these books in order as they have an ongoing story.
It’s jam-packed with intrigue, action, romance has some amazing world-building it’s edge of your seat stuff that I highly recommend reading.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Blood Seeker (Immortal Curse #7).

I've had this sweet baby of a book sitting on my kindle since release day, but I was waiting. What was I waiting for, you ask? I wanted the next book to be released so that I could continue the story. Do you know how hard it is to finish one of these books, know that there is so much more to come, and not have the next book in sight?! It's excruciating!! I'm telling you, Lexi C. Foss is a master storyteller and I'm drawn to these immortals like Winnie the Pooh and his honey.

That is most definitely me!

Stas is still at the head of a prophecy. Sethios is now up-to-date on everything and is trying to figure out how to be a father to his daughter, who grew up without him. And Caro is somewhere they can't find her. When the family is finally reunited, it's beautiful and it's funny. But those super warm feelings I got when I watched them interact paled in comparison to all of the moving parts of this story.

★ the seraphim aren't as lovely as they seem
★ someone I always believed to be the 'bad guy' may not be as bad as he seemed
★ there is still so much more to know about what is to come
★ Vera... Vera... Vera
★ and it seems that Balthazar is getting his memory back - bound to be good times :)

I believe there is so much more to come and that this story is far from over. And as I impatiently wait for the next book...

I'll implore you to get started!

The man is a caveman, “you’re always effing presentable. But if I’m honest, I prefer you naked.” I liked this book, I loved Sethios and I loved seeing all the characters again

Welcome back to the Immortal Curse world - where there's more twists than a roller coaster and Angels aren't so heavenly after all.

What an absolute rush! Lexi has done is again, immersing us in a world of darkness that always has the ability to make me laugh. Lexi is clearly a master of her craft, tying in even miniscule plot details from previous books to create what truly feels like a new beginning to the series while wrapping up many loose ends I didn't even realize weren't tied in a nice little bow already. Oh, and while we're at it, why not just completely unravel some very well established truths while we're at it?

This novel has it all: heartbreak, true love, heroes that will stop at nothing, heroines who dictate the future, and sex that would make even Dionysus blush (*cough* Balthazar *cough*). Not to mention satisfying answers that made me go "oooooooooooooooooooooh".

We rejoin the Immortal Curse World where we left off in Angel Bonds: on the lookout for Caro, the lost love of Sethios. But rather than take us down a predictable path of damsel in distress with a damsel that does a little saving of her own (a trap many authors may fall into), Lexi shows the true depth of her characters and allows not just Sethios and Caro to shine, but nearly the entire cast and crew. We get to see heroes (yes, plural) with devastating power that somehow avoid patriarchal stereotypes (), and heroines who find a way to break gender norms and show us how fists can fly ().

This is the first book in the series that doesn't feel like it could act as a standalone. Its truly here to give us answers and satisfying conclusions, while finally giving us the first taste of the larger world in which our favorite characters live. While we see a lot of other characters here, and get a glimpse of some new couples in the making (), it feels like a much needed and incredibly satisfying swan song for Sethios and Caro's sacrifices.

And as for villains, I love how Lexi is truly able to make you wonder who is the bad guy after all. I was disappointed in Angel Bonds when it seemed like Lexi had drawn us into an incredibly predictable bad guy plot point: . But this book sets all previous expectations on their heads, so much so that I can almost hear Lexi's maniacal cackling from here.

Truly, if you have been a fan of the series so far, or if this is your first glimpse, I implore you to pick this up. But be warned, you will be left craving so much more at the end. The next installment (*cough**cough*) cannot come soon enough.

**I received a free copy in return for a completely honest review, all views of this book and the series as a whole are entirely my own**

Two words describe my response to this novel. Blown. Away.

We last saw Caro together with Sethios at the end of Blood Bonds when both of them sacrificed themselves to save their daughter and ensure she fulfill her destiny. A significant amount of time has passed (although in immortal terms it's hardly any time at all), and Sethios is determined to save his mate from a fate worse than death. But this book is about much more than Sethios and Caro. It's a labyrinth of twists and turns, and chapters told from several points of view that give us a glimpse into the intricacies of what is to come.

But as the war creeps ever closer and bonds are tested, we learn to trust no one, question everything, and hang on for one hell of a ride!

As soon as I finish a book in this series, I already can't wait for the next one, but even more so in this case, for it is going to focus on my beloved Balthazar and Leela. Gah! Can we fast-forward twelve months?

Love. Love. Love.

Book 7 in the Immortal Curse series brings us the continued story and reunion of Sethios and Caro who we first met in Blood Bonds. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’m just going to say this... The love, sacrifice, and commitment of these two characters (and honestly all of the series characters), brings things together full circle while leaving you on the edge of your seat for what’s to come next.

Beyond just your typical romance themes Lexi C. Foss weaves together an intricate and engaging world of paranormal political intrigue that simply sucks you in and doesn’t let go.

Full disclosure I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for a review. All that being said though I can honestly say without a doubt that if you’re looking for a paranormal romance series that will keep you engaged and constantly wanting more then check out this series!!

OMG❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Blood seeker is the next book in the Immortal Curse world and all I want to say is hang on for the ride of your life because we all know there’s a war coming, but the details up until now have been sketchy at best😢 Sethios is searching for his mate and Caro is reliving a punishment that would break a weaker woman😳

Loved this story and I’m dying to know what happens next. These characters have finagled their way into my heart and soul and I just love them and the interesting dynamics of each couple and character😍 Can’t wait for Leela and B next😇

I received an advanced copy and I willingly leave my honest review and if you haven’t started reading this series and you love paranormal stories....then don’t wait any longer because these books will blow your mind❤️

And back to the paranormal/urban fantasy romance genre, aka: smut with magic.

And unfortunately.. this one really just didnt hit the mark. The villain is being dumb and cheesy while trying to be mysterious. And the big point of the story, the smutty bits, was with with the two characters from 2 books ago whos consent is.. flimsy at best. And no matter how much I enjoy these really brief detours into something a little heated in my reading list the amount of discomfort these two characters gives me really makes even the cheesiest plot in the world something I just cant really get into.

Oh my Gosh!!!!! My mind is really blown up for everything that went on in this book, to be honest, I am still processing everything. I literally just finished it and I'm like Ahhhhhh!

I couldn't put the book down, right now I don't have time for reading, I bearly manage to finish one AUDIOBOOK a week... So, I used every second I had free, I woke up an hour early, just to be able to read it, because there was no way I was able to wait for the audiobook to come out.  And I don't regret it a single bit.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. There are many important things happening, many amazing moments, and some that just left my mouth open and my mind swirling in conflict over the things I thought I knew and then suddenly everything just changes.

I love that Sethios and Caro are finally back, I love them so much since I read their story, I am so happy for them.

Gabriel has a lot to say in this book, and I am in awe of him, his AMAZING, so many great moment with him in here.

Let's talk about Stas and how she still hasn't been able to get over her "pink" feathers, with everything they have to worry about, and she complains about her feathers colour. She really made me laugh.

And GOSH, Ezekiel and Sky they're a cute "couple" I really like Skye she's intriguing. I can't wait to see more of them.

Finally but of course not least important, B & Leela. I really cannot wait for their story I have as feeling it's going to be everything.

Oh sorry guess that wasn't everything... I have one last thing to say, the most important, OSIRIS...!!!

Phenomenal, this series with its twists, turns and myriad of emotions is taking my breath away. Tears, heartbreak, passion, love, anger, betrayal, pain, loss and humour, this book had it all and that ending!!! Wow I never saw that coming, maybe a hint but not that........

Blood Seeker continues straight on from the previous book, Angel Bonds. Now Sethios had been found and rescued from Osiris's clutches, the hunt was on in earnest for Caro, his missing soul mate and Stas's mother.

This book.....can I just say wow!! Mind blown!!  There were reveals and revelations.  So many questions were answered but a whole host of new ones have appeared in their place, including - just who can our heroes and heroines trust? All is definitely not as we we've been lead to believe.

Lexi C Foss has written an intricate web of secrets and intrigue and a twist that will knock your socks off! There is so much to this story I never imagined and certainly didn't see coming. I absolutely love this series and it's host of many differing personalities.  Seraphim, Ichorian and Hydraian, all of whom  have their own part to play in the war that is imminent. I wish I could see into the authors mind for a hint of what is to come next, because that ending was an incredible mind blowing moment and there will be a lot of difficult decisions to be made.
I absolutely loved this, it was addictive reading throughout.

There needs to be a rating system for more than 5 stars, because this series needs it!

I rarely give out 5 stars and when I do, you know that this is something special.

We are now 7 books into this series and I have found that there are some books that you just want the author to finish the series already - that the entire story could have been told in less books and that there are a number of 'filler' books that you have to suffer through to get to the end. This is definitely not the case here, though I did suffer in Angel Bonds for a completely different reason (thanks Lexi for making me sob hysterically on a public train).

This series has come so far from the original premise and keeps getting more detailed, more engaging, more compelling...just more everything! The twists and turns on this journey has almost given me whiplash in the best possible way.

I am so glad to be back with Sethios and Caro, that their torment is finally over and they have been reunited with Stas. Plus Sethios' thoughts on Isaac are just hilarious. Oh and there was a part with Gabriel which I also found highly amusing and I kind of hope that this 'new and improved' Gabriel sticks around. I am giving out nothing on the actual story because I want you to have the same experience I had which was divine.

Obviously I highly recommend this story with the 5 star rating and you should stop looking at your computer so that you can also read the damn thing. Trust me, your life will be better for it.

I received an ARC and because its surprisingly cold here for October (I really shouldn't complain because it will be hotter than Satan's anus soon enough), I have left an honest review.

3/3.5 Stars

It was interesting to be in Sethios' and Caro's heads for this book. While I chose not to read their prequel, I still found the book provided enough history and insight into their past that reading it was optional.

This book had what felt like a lot more information to dump on us, which is a bit hilarious considering all we learned and experienced in the previous book.

I did like all the alternating POVs, which I'm usually not a fan of. This bool however felt as if it was necessary whenever we jumped outside of our main characters POVs. I loved being able to dive into Gabriel's head more and get more familiar with his personality and thoughts.

Overall it was a solid read. A little overwhelming at times because previous information we learned no longer seemed important or relevant and new facts and information came to light that revealed a more pressing threat. But otherwise I enjoyed more time with Leela, Balthazar, Issac and Gabriel.

I did find it a bit meh it took so long to finally get Stas with her parents, both of them this time. And when it finally happened it wasn't made to be a bigger deal? I dunno, it was like a bit glossed over imo due to the placement and how their were other pressing issues going on. Just a simple emotional embrace and we're all good? For real? 😆 I just expected more from their reunion, I guess. And obviously the events going on around them somehow minimized it.

OH MY!! I can't tell you how much i absolutely love this series, it is the best series out there i just can't get enough, i started this late last night and have got nothing done all day as i couldn't put this book down if my life depended on it.

So many twists that you will feel like you are on one huge roller coaster where it doesn't stop to let you off till you are dizzy with how the plot is unfolding. This book was enlightening as you are going to change your mind about certain people where you just have no idea who is telling the truth and who to trust.

These character are in my heart now i can't get enough of all the couples and the fight they are preparing for with the the war that is going to change everything. This was a emotional edge of your seat ride where you won't ever want to get off of, there is so much happening that you will get whip lash and can we talk about Gabriel as he got a lot of airtime in this book that i am so warming to him and his one liners, he is going to be my new favourite character, after Issac of course.

I could talk about this book all night how amazing it it but you will have to pick this series up and find out yourself as trust me once to start you wont be able to put this series down EVER. God that ending will leave you thinking WHAT!! OSIRIS??

Recently I have been in a major book funk. Nothing much has held my interest except for a couple of favourite authors. I’ve been on a rereading binge for a while now and was starting to lose the will whilst in this funk. So imagine my glee when I knew that Blood Seeker was releasing.

I can inform you ally that this book has indeed given me confidence that there are books out there worth every single goddamned penny!

Absolutely in love with this world. This author has a way of dragging you back into the story as if you never left and whilst I have to confess that my rereading binge of late did not include the Immortal Curse series, it didn’t have to. I was sucked right back into the storyline.

There’s very few books where I feel that every character counts. That if some characters were left out of the story, it wouldn’t make a dent towards the plot, but I can guarantee that if this author left any secondary character out it would dent the storyline immensely.

It also didn’t hurt that my Ezekiel got more “word time” throughout the book. Le sigh, I love that assassin!

Genuinely intrigued as to where this author will take her characters and what journey will erupt out of her brain onto the page. Highly recommend!

Sethios and Caro's story continues as the mystery surrounding Astasia's destiny, Lizzie's child, and Osiris's plans all come together to deliver a vastly satisfying book. Seth and Caro's story has been riddled with pain and angst as they were separated for decades, their mate bond abused and strained. As the search for Caro heats up, more than just their perceived arch enemy stands in their way. Because there may be more to Osiris's meddling and his help may be needed to defeat and even greater enemy.

I did not see so much of this book coming. It was edgy, sexy, action packed, and taunted us with a look into B and Lee's coming book (yes please!). I'm just going to say she deserves everything B is going to give her. Blood Seeker was such a wild ride and the twists, especially the scenes with Osiris, were so unexpected but make all the sense now. I'm excited to see where things go since things seem to be coming to a conclusion in the next few books. This world is so special, it will always be one of my favorites. If you haven't read it yet, go. Go right now.

This one blew my mind. Not sure how to say too much without spoilers. There were so many different curve balls and twists and turns in this book. Each time I thought I’d seen the last twist or turn or nothing could top the last one somehow there was another and it topped the one before and I don’t know how that was possible. My mind is still blown from that endings and I need more. I loved Sethios. I could not get enough of him or any of the other characters. I loved loved loved getting to see characters from the previous books. I need more of these characters and this story. I just need so much. This was amazing and I loved every moment of it. I can’t say enough about how amazing this story was and how much it surprised me with the story and what was going on. This is a must read series and it’s just so amazing!

OMG. sheer brilliance.

How did you do it Lexi?
I’ve had a burning hatred for a certain man in this series and you have made me question that. Is he really that evil? Is he seeing more and keeping more to himself? Will he be the hero?Sensational read.
Sethios is free. He has his memories back and oh how it hurts. However there is a problem with the bond. Caro is too silent. He needs her and will do everything he can to get her where she belongs with him.
Osiris is his usual self. Keeping his nose in everyone’s business and interfering when he thinks it’s necessary.
Stas and Isaac along with Gabriel and oh just about all the beloved characters are also trying to find Caro.
We also get to meet some of the high council.
Surprises at every turn. A real page Turner. Love every word.

This next installment in Lexi C. Foss's Immortal Curse world was absolutely worth the wait. It inspired all kinds of feelings, and took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride which left me reeling. These characters are so in depth, and so real, that I feel like I know them in real life. Watching them evolve and grow and work on unraveling the mysteries surrounding them is a very emotional experience. Lexi has this way of revealing things as the story unfolds that make you question everything you have previously believed about right and wrong, and she masterfully controls your emotions by doing so. Get lost in the Immortal Curse world today, and you will not be sorry!!!

I tried really hard to go slow with the entire series thus far knowing that it is not complete. However, every book is so amazing that I can't stop or slow down. Blood Seeker is no different! I love that you get so many POVs with this story in addition to closing some loops. However, with those closures there are more to take their place! Now when they say not to trust anything you knew before, they were not joking. I don't know what to think for some aspects of this story anymore and have to sit back and wait for the next book - which of course, isn't the end either. However, this is not a series that I will be able to wait until it is complete to read.

If you’ve gotten this far in the series, then welcome to the addiction. If you are new to the series, start at Blood Laws...Do Not Start here. I can’t even begin to discuss the emotions in having right now! Six books in, everything is starting to piece together, unexpected shocks (wow moments), moments of laughter, then tears, then laughter, then what the what, to the finish...strangling Ms Foss! Ugghhhhh! This series is so fantastic, as in my other reviews of her books, I Highly recommend any of her Worlds to anyone, but this is one of my favorites. Anyways, I hope you start or continue this World, you won’t regret it for a moment!

I did not see that coming.

Those words up there? They were uttered a dozen times or more while reading this book.

Lexi is an absolute master at the long arc. She patiently waits for the perfect time to whip away the curtain and then leaves you breathlessly anticipating the next big reveal.

This book, this story, Caro and Sethios, they are the linchpin. Once you've finished reading this book, everytime you speak of this series, it will be Before Blood Seeker and After Blood Seeker.

I can't wait to read what comes after.

Every book of Lexi's that I read, just gets better and better. I was so anxious to see Sethios and Caro reunite since Blood Bonds! Stas does a little recap to start the book and gives a warning... basically saying nothing is as it seems. And boy was she right! So many twists and turns and
I DID not see it coming. Just when you think you have it figured out BAM she switches gears and my mind was totally freaking BLOWN! So many revelations and unexpected alliances.. you will not be disappointed when you read this! ❤❤❤

Loved it!

This was a great continuation of the series and had POVs from most of my favorites (no POV from Alik.... he’s so surly and sarcastic that I find him hilarious)! I’m excited to see where the story is going and can’t wait for more. My only tiny complaint is that I did a reread of the entire series right before this came out, and to go right from being in the headspace of Aya, directly into the headspace of her parents made it hard to enjoy Sethios and Caro’s sex scenes. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this entire series!

Finally...*sighs*

This family of characters will own you heart and soul. They own mine and I can barely contain myself waiting between installments of this series.

In book 7, Blood Seeker, long burning questions are answered.
Unexpected twists and turns will make you have more.
And seriously, don't blink...you'll miss it, because all is not as we've assumed.

I'm a slave to this author's Immortal Curse world, honestly I wish it were the only series she wrote.
If you haven't started this series yet, do it, start with Blood Laws, trust me, you won't be sorry.

WOW! Lexie has done it again! From beginning to the end, this book not only brings together much anticipated reunions, but reveals new sides of the storyline that will completely change the way you think of come characters. There are so many suspenseful moments, and the scenes between Sethios and Caro are not only sexy, but heartfelt and emotional. I recommend starting with book one in this series to fully appreciate the depth of this novel, though it could be read as a stand alone. 5 stars is not enough to describe how highly I recommend this novel.
