Similar to other reviews - very high level on the homesteading part, lacks depth. A lot of idealistic photos and descriptions of how you could do exactly what they have done. Large section just on each room in their house?! Disappointed to read they use chemical on caterpillars and glyphosate on weeds - not something I agree with when trying to foster biodiversity. The photo of all the disposable food boxes in the freezer also wasn’t very in-keeping! A book for Instagramers who like style over substance.

Beautifully presented book with a scratch on the surface of a couple's homesteading life over the last 10 years. Set in England. A personal and short description of some aspects of their 'farming' way of life

This book has beautiful imagery and some practical tips. However, the title, cover, and subtitle all indicate that it would be a universal how-to, not “how-we-did.” If someone were more interested in these people and their specific property, I think they would absolutely enjoy this book.

Not really a how-to, but a this-is-how-we-do-it type book with a magazine feel and lots of beautiful photos! This would be a lovely coffee table type book.
