Kaid has watched as members of his clan have found and claimed their One, their Mate. Even the female that he had once hoped to claim as his own has found and claimed her One. He’s lonely, he’s tired of waiting, and his Bear is growing bitter and despondent watching from the side, never gifted with his own. He’s tired of hurting. Then a visit from an old friend delivers his heart’s desire. He’s speechless. She is beyond all he ever dreamed. But there’s a problem; she’s more Alpha than he is, housing a Monster that even she is afraid to release. And the little fact that he failed her before he ever knew she existed; how can she forgive him for his failure if he cannot even consider forgiving himself?
Delilah was born in captivity. Her parents murdered. All she has ever known is rules, permissions, cruelty, forced to barter in trade each day for her very survival. The concept of love, family and happiness mean nothing to her; they are merely words. Her captor leaves one day, never to return. She believes she’s been left to die a slow, painful death, starving in the cell that is her home. Then a chance encounter saves her; a human searching for answers stumbles across her hidden prison. She doesn’t trust him, but she’s got nothing to lose and he’s got food! So she goes with the man on an adventure that takes her to an Alpha who could be all she never knew she needed. Now if only the Monster that resides inside her wouldn’t eat her newfound friends, this might not be too bad!
While Kaid and Delilah struggle to form a bond other than the obvious physical one, a vengeful, unseen threat from the past scurries into the periphery of their lives, threatening not only their new-found chance at happiness, but the lives of every member of their clan and the very land they call home. Will this threat be detected in time to save the lives of all Avaleigh’s Boys and everyone they hold dear?
I write Paranormal, SciFi and Fantasy Romance. Why, you may ask? Romance, because who doesn’t love a good romance, and the lack of reality in the story lines - because, well, normal is highly overrated. I’m 55, I have two kids, one 32 and one 12 (yes, God does have a sense of humor), one grandchild, one husband, and a menagerie of animals. Literally, too damn many things that eat wandering around our property. I love to cook, and I am a voracious reader, though since I started writing I don’t get as much time to read as I once did. I am a homebody and prefer my writing/reading time to a crowd. I have had stories and fictional characters wandering around in my head for as long as I can remember. I started letting them out into the real world and surprisingly, people have loved them. I am a Self-Published Author, and I like it that way because I can decide what and when to write. I am by no means a formal, polished, properly structured individual and neither are my stories. But people seem to love the easy emotion and passion that naturally flow from them. A bit of a warning though, there are some “triggers” in them that certain people should avoid. I’m a firm believer that you cannot have light without the dark. You cannot fully embrace the joy and elation that my people eventually find if you do not bear witness to their darkest hours as well. So please be sure to read the warnings supplied with each of the synopses about my books before you buy them. I've got three series published at this time, Avaleigh's Boys - PNR, Whispers From the Bayou - Fantasy PNR, Haven - a SciFi, and three more in process. I’m a bit sarcastic, scathing actually, and a smartass to boot, so if I offend you, it is most likely not intentional. But be prepared because it probably won’t be the last time. I’m always glad to hear from readers; those who have followed me from the beginning, and those who have just found my people. So feel free to look me up and say hello, or just follow along; either way, I’m glad to have you.
Oh, this book you guys! So much pain and feels. My heart!

The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💚🖤❤️💜🩵 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌍 Character development: 😭☺️😊😋🥰
The Hero:Kincaid (a.k.a. Kaid) - he is a grizzly bear shifter, the alpha of a clan of mismatched shifters in the Louisiana bayou. Kaid was one of the main characters of the first book in this series I’m Not a Dragon’s Mate in which he was kidnapped by a half serpent/half dragon shifter named Lurin, who had known of some kind of prophecy that involved Kaid and his mate as well as Avaleigh and her mate Daniel. Lurin tried to keep the mates apart so that the prophecy telling of his own death didn’t come to pass. Kaid had to claim Avaleigh for them to escape Lurin’s clutches and he wanted to complete the bond with her, though she ended up finding her fated one in Daniel. Kaid was happy for them but feared he would never find his one one true mate; he was lonely, and his bear had been on the edge lately.
The heroine:Delilah - she is Kaid’s mate and was held in Lurin’s basement cell since she was young. She often was forced to trade favors for food and water. Often her food was bad, her water was drugged to make her sleep and bad things happened when she was asleep. When they were angry with her, they would give her water and food from an automatic feeder like an animal, though the food was dry cereal. After Lurin was killed, she ran out of food and went days without before Amos found her and brought her to Kaid and his clan.
The story: when Amos shows up in Louisiana with Lilah, Kaid immediately knows she is his mate. Though she is confused at how the world works since she grew up in captivity. There is so much she doesn’t know since she never learned, she never had a mother or a family. She is a shifter, though nobody knows what kind at first. She thinks her beast is a monster, it rarely speaks to her in words, just emotional outbursts in growls and hisses. She sometimes struggles to control the beast and other times when she wants to shift, it sits back and refuses to come out.
I have really liked this series so far. I love the fact that the clan is a mishmash of different shifter types, and that they, including the mates they have found so far have made a real family unit. I love that they all live in the woods near a small town in the Louisiana bayou and that they have a main big house which is surrounded by individual houses. They all eat dinner (and often breakfast and lunch) in the big house together. All the guys work for their construction company and many of them have side hustles too. The world building and character development is on point, and I am invested in and love all of these characters. Reminds me a bit of Suzanne Wright’s shifter series (Phoenix Pack, Mercury Pack and Olympus Pride). The stories are all terrific as well.
This one brought back Slatterly, the evil beaver. He was Lurin’s servant, and he thinks he deserves payback for all he did for Lurin. He wanted to keep Delilah as his own and was not happy to find that she somehow got away from Lurin’s dungeon. He had wanted her to submit to him and when she wouldn’t, he left her alone there for days without food. It was awesome when he returned hoping to see a more malleable female and found her gone instead. Though he knew soon after that he was with Kaid, and his clan, so was determined to get back what he thought belonged to him. The story was good, and even though you wouldn’t think the beaver would be any trouble for a clan with a dragon, a bunch of bears, a wolf and a big cat shifter, he was kind of diabolical and proved to be more dangerous than I expected.
Kaid’s Queen was a joy to read. Kaid has finally found his ONE, but not without a struggle. Delilah is taken from a world of misery and now must adjust to a world completely different while her Monster is still on guard to protect her. Ms. Neeley takes you to place where patience, understanding, caring, and love for one another rise above all things. This story has a bit of mystery, suspense, humor, and steam. You are teased with the possibility of Maverick’s story, and being a hopeless romantic, I’m still hoping that BAM finds his ONE.
Kaid's Queen is the third in the Avaleigh's Boys series by Sandra R. Neeley. If you haven't read the first two books in this series (I'm Not a Dragon's Mate and Bane's Heart), you really should! They tell the back stories of all the characters of the series, and they're incredible. I think the first two books are essential to understanding the characters, motivations, emotions, and actions in Kaid's Queen.
This is the story of Kaid and Delilah. Kaid's a bear shifter and alpha of his clan. Since he first met Avaleigh, and she subsequently found her One, her soul mate, in Daniel, a dragon shifter and another member of Kaid's clan, he's felt lonely and left out. He cared, still cares, for Avaleigh. But both knew from the start that they weren't each other's One, although that does nothing to help Kaid's loneliness. Then, Bane, another bear shifter, and Goldie, a non-shifting lion shifter, each find their One (Janie for Bane and Janie's mother, Sadie, for Goldy). Now Kaid feels even emptier inside. Yes, others in the clan don't have a One, or as Bam, Bane's brother calls it, their "Ever." But some shifters never find their One, and Kaid is so lonely. He desperately wants what Daniel, Bane, and Goldy have, and he's afraid he may never find it.
Late one night, after getting completely plastered at Vince's bar and tearing the place to shreds defending a helpless female being harassed by a group of fox shifters, Kaid's had enough. Vince calls Daniel, Goldy, and Bam to come take charge of Kaid, but he snaps and storms off. He's had enough. He's happy for his clan mates but he's also jealous at the same time. Hell, Bane and Janie are having a baby, and Kaid, the alpha, doesn't even have a Mate. It's all so unfair.
Bam, the good-natured, most prescient of the clan, comes to Kaid while he's sitting on the porch drinking a beer. Out of nowhere, he calmly tells Kaid to call Amos, a human friend. Kaid knows by now not to question Bam's unexpected requests. He calls Amos and, to his surprise, Amos is on his way to visit. And he's bringing a special surprise for Kaid. This unexpected news certainly brightens Kaid's night, and he waits anxiously for Amos' arrival. A few hours later, after Amos arrives, the surprise delights Kaid. It's his Harley! He thought he'd lost it forever when he'd been drugged, kidnapped, and imprisoned by Lurin, the evil half-serpent, half-dragon shifter. He's thrilled. The clan slowly filters to where Kaid and Amos stand talking. Avaleigh bursts from her home with Daniel and runs screaming towards Amos, jumping into his arms to greet him. The rest of the clan is also introduced to Amos. When Maverick, wolf shifter of the clan, patrolling in wolf form, howls out his greeting, Kaid suddenly spots movement in the passenger side of the truck. What he sees stops him in his tracks. There's a woman with long, dark hair, silvery streaks running through it, huge violet eyes and long black lashes framing them, high cheekbones, full lips and a small pointed nose. She's the most beautiful creature he's ever seen. And his Bear roars in his mind, "Mine." Kaid's FINALLY found his One!
But the story hardly ends here. Her name is Delilah, and she is indeed Kaid's One. But she's unlike any woman the clan's encountered before. She's definitely a shifter of some sort, but no one knows exactly what. Even Delilah's unsure. Amos found her while exploring Lurin's old home. She was locked in the basement, nearly starved, severely dehydrated. But for Kaid, all that matters now is he's found his One. Or so he thinks! Delilah was held in Lurin's prison for nearly her entire life. She knows nothing of living or interacting with others. With no social graces, no frame of reference for actions with others, there are tense and incredibly frightening moments. Then she starts connecting with the members of the clan, and things improve. But there's still so much more to come.
This is only the beginning of the adventures, not just for Kaid and Delilah but the entire clan. There's new discovery, joy, anger, fear, danger, uncertainty, and even possibly love around every corner. There are unknown challenges awaiting every member of the clan. Avaleigh and Daniel have to deal with an issue that brings them to the very depths of despair. How will that impact their love and relationship? Janie's pregnant with a shifter baby. There are ever present and hidden dangers of which the clan is unaware. Can even Bane's overprotective nature be enough to save both Janie and the baby? What of Kaid and Delilah? They certainly have a very rocky road ahead of them, and there's uncertainty and danger around every corner. Even Goldy, Sadie, Bam, and Mav all have individual challenges. In the end, will the unknown, the past, the present, and even the potential future, destroy the clan or will they come together and become even stronger than before? Absolutely nothing is certain or set in stone. They'll have to pull on every ounce of their strength, shifters and humans alike, to get through this one.
Ms. Neeley is a storyteller par excellence. I've loved every one of her books, and Kaid's Queen is no exception. The stories are set in the Louisiana bayou country, rich with the ambiance, flavor, language, and environment of that region. When you're reading Sandra Neeley's books, you are no longer in your chair, your bed, the doctor's waiting room, wherever you might physically be. You ARE with the clan in Louisiana, living right alongside them. That's just how riveting and enthralling her stories are.
One final comment. This is an ADULT book. It contains strong language and erotic sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy erotic paranormal/thriller romances with these elements, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There's always a synopsis on any bookseller's website, as well as reviews on Goodreads and the websites of all booksellers who sell the book. PLEASE use these resources so you're sure the book you're buying is what you want to read. DON'T BUY ANY BOOK YOU WON'T ENJOY AND LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T LIKE READING IT. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works extremely hard to provide her readers with a quality work product. If you know before you buy any book you'll object to its subject matter, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you enjoy an exciting mix of paranormal, thriller, mystery, and romantic elements with amazing characters and storylines, I highly recommend Kaid's Queen and the entire Avaleigh's Boys series. It's an absolutely riveting book and series. I give it my highest recommendation without reservation!
Out of all three books, this has been the best so far. I loved Kaid's story, although I hate that they all overlooked the swamp smell!! They should have caught that so much sooner than they did, with all of them being shifters. I loved the fact that Delilah was so sheltered, so she took everything in its literal form - it was hilarious! I also loved her beast!!
In a world where shifters are an outcast, Sandra has done a great job in bringing their story of love to the forefront and makes you want to live in the world just for a moment. Delilah has lived a very difficult life and watching her grow as a person is very amusing and entertaining. Kaid knows immediately that she is his Mate but when she keeps rejecting him, he isn't sure what else to do. Delilah is afraid of her "Monster" and when the Monster is finally unleashed, it is beautifully written and the emotion pours from the pages as you learn just how powerful the Monster is and just how devastating Delilah can be. This is an awesome addition to the Avaleigh series and I can't wait to learn more about Kaid and Delilah in the next book!
Through think and thin these shifter brothers stick together
This is the third book in the Avaleigh's boys series.this one deals with Kaid, the alpha, finding his mate. His mate comes to him so damaged he wonders if she will trust him. Especially when he figures out she a an alpha as well who might just best him. With an old enemy lurking around will this band of misfits be safe? As with her other stories the author brings all the characters and environment to life in such a way you will find it hard to put it down.
I don't have the right words to say how much I loved this. I have been impatiently waiting for Kaid's story since book one ended. The pain and suffering he has been through just kills me. He's almost given up on waiting for his mate, his One. Imagine his surprise when she finally shows up and is completely clueless to the outside world. Plus being an Alpha stronger then him!!!
Delilah is amazing, she could have given up and died at the hands of her captors but she didn't, she fought when she could and held on. Now if she can only learn to live in a world where she has free will, a hot sexy mate and an instant family of shifters!
Once again I was pulled into an amazing world. I laughed, I cried, I cheered when Delilah started to open up to people and became the strong Alpha woman she was meant to be. I just know this is one of my all time favorite series and now I have to wait for more again!! Darn my fast reading!!
When your woman's more alpha than the pack leader!
In this book you get loads of POV's of all the lovable clan so you get to know what is really going on in their heads. Everyone from the first two books I'm Not A Dragon's mate & Bane's Heart are in this book and also a few new characters.
Kaid has finally found his One Delilah but she's had a hard life and doesn't trust easily. She is quite stubborn OR is it her monster that is stubborn. Kaid is used to being all alpha but His Lilah can bring him to his knees and is more alpha than him. He will protect her but does she really need protection?
Delilah has finally been saved and taken to the shifter clan. Life has been hard for her, now she's struggling with her inner monster that's trying to break free. She knows Kaid is her mate but she will protect her new family at all costs. Learning to know what love really is. When her monster finally shows will she scare her new family away?
Will there be an HEA for Kaid & his Queen together?
Too the manor born. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.
Sandra did it again she brought us a story that reached all of our emotions and in a beautiful touching way. Delilah the main female is like a child in a grown woman's body and after being in captivity all of her life, she has had no social interactions, locked in cell her whole life and is very much like child in an adult woman's body. Found and saved by Amos who has a feeling she needs to be with his young friend Kaid and Kaid's clan who can help her. Delilah's Monster who has been locked up recognises Kaid is their mate as does Kaid but they have a lot to over come. Delilah's little jealousy tantrums are funny and there are others in the clan that have issues and are hurting and I am sure their stories are coming. Sandra keeps all the clan members characters a live and evolving. I laughed and I cried. I also planned on reading this next week sitting on the beach but was unable to help my self and read it just a view hours.
I totally loved this book!! It is one of my favorites! Kaid has been so lonely for so long, waiting for his one. Bam had told him "she is coming" but Kaid was tired of waiting, but then an old friend shows up with his one. Delilah's life was not a normal life. She was physically abused and was experimented on. Had no contact with the outside world. This did not make it easy for Kaid. But her captor wants her back. Will Laid be able to protect her? Will her living with his pack bring danger to all of Avaleigh's Boys and their mates? I cried and I laughed. My emotions were all over the place. I would recommend this book to all my friends.
This Author has written an amazing series and book 3, Kaid's Queen, was even better! I absolutely love these characters and wish I didn't have to wait for the next book. Kaid has a super exciting scene that really shows why he is an Alpha, I read that part more than once lol. Delilah is an extremely mysterious blend of innocence and dangerous power. Mix the two together with the rest of the group and you get a very good story full of emotion, laughter and action! I fully recommend this book and the whole series!
This is the third book in the series but it is a standalone story. This is the Alpha's novel. Kaid has finally found his mate, The One, and what a mate she is! Kaid has his hands full. Delilah literally has been held captive all her life. The Clan has to teach her everything. The Clan is growing in a quiet and gentle way. The reader gets a chance to know the characters in depth and to get to be reintroduced to other characters. A simply great read.
Wow!! Another incredible book in the series. Sandra Neely weaves a magical tale of shifters, drama and romance. I just can't get enough of these books and will be very sad when the series ends...one day. Hopefully, there is still much to tell! Read in about 2 hours. Loved it!!
What can I say... I laughed, I cried, I wanted to beat some dragon/snake butt! And I have a new appreciation for bread and butter pickles. This book is the highlight of the series! Sandra you have set the bar high with this one. Thank you so much for bringing us readers into your world and sharing your boys and their ladies with us.
OH My GERD!!! I was so excited for Kaid to get LAID…I mean…find his mate!! Dude has been hella grumpy lately over waiting for his Ever to show up. Bam told him she was comin’ but the waiting was killing him!!
So we meet Delilah and we are instantly broken for her. We know the horror she lived with being one of Lurin’s victims but hearing the extent and length of her capture……..so unbelievably sad. She is so confused over these kind people. No one is kind for nothing. Everyone wants something in return. So to see these people offering care and protection made her edgy. Then to see a DRAGON chasing a HUMAN set her off!! She let everyone know right away she will not tolerate any abuse.
Kaid is struck stupid by his mate’s history but also by her strength. He can’t believe it but especially how socially isolated she has been. The smallest things are all new to her. The idea of sharing food to show acceptance in a family or making a sandwich to show someone you are care all things we take for granted but she feels are monumental.
Delilah fears her “monster”. She is afraid of what she might do to her new family. When Delilah senses danger she hides herself away from her family which kills Kaid. When we understand the reason of her fea,r which is a true fear, I loved seeing Delilah embrace her monster and go after her clan/pack!!
Some of my favorite scenes are with Mav and Delilah. She is a riot and he really gets her mentality. He understands her fears. But Mav is hurting so bad. I can’t wait for his book. He needs to open his eyes and accept his Ever before she is so far gone by his betrayal.
Bam…seriously when does he get a book. My shifter man needs some love. I THINK we have seen his mate based on his reaction at the bar buuuuut I still want his HEA!!!!
I read the first book a while ago and have to admit I didnt like it because of the rape and decided i wasnt going to buy the 2nd book. But after reading the reviews and download the sample about Kaid's book, I have definitely changed my mind about this series. I absolutely loved this book and my heart went out to Lilah and what she had to endure but got her HEA with Kaid and man she is one kick ass heroine!!. I can't wait to find out Mav's story and the sadness behind his eyes.
AWESOME! That is the first word that comes to mind with this story from Avaleigh's boys. Your heart already belongs to the big Alpha Kaid from the first two stories. His story pulls you in and you feel his pain, hope, and love as you read him finding his mate Delilah. Delilah reaches in and grabs your heart with two hands, and you can't help but love her as much as her mate. You will be angry, sad, happy and most of all left with wanting more of Avaleigh's Boys at the end. Your heart sinks when you realize that you have reached the end and have to wait for the next story.
Kaid and Delilah Kaid-grousing around watching everyone be happy with mates Delilah-learning how to live a normal human/shifter life without restrictions. Be free, until she meets her mate in Kaid!!! Then the fun starts!!!! This is a fantabulous shifter romance-love, lust, feistiness, hot chemistry, cussing, fighting, etc-just being alive!!! LOVED IT!!!! Yes it has a HEA!!!
This story just gets better and better. I cried and laughed. A must read to feel good and escape into the most fun loving series. Sandra Neeley. You're wonderful .
I repeat, is DRAGGED. I was so looking forward to this book, Kaid deserved his Queen, and he got it. I love Delilah, she is such a blast, I was laughing non-stoop, every time she said Sister Avaleigh I imagined that they were in a cult or something 😊
Avaleigh’s boys are a must read! Kaid’s Queen is fantastic read! It is great that Kaid found his mate, and to see her come in to her own,I couldn’t put it down. I’m on to the next book by this author,I can barely contain my excitement for the next book.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I loved it. The author is especially strong in developing the various characters in the book. The story is about a group of various types of shapeshifters that have formed a clan...members that include bears, a wolf, a dragon, and humans. This is the 3rd book in the series and while it might be good to read them in order first, I didn’t and it did not take anything away from my enjoyment of this book. There are quite a few characters and the author does an excellent job of bringing them all to life and making you care about them...even a newborn baby. It is about people who have gone though trauma. The main female has been held prisoner and drugged and abused all her life and the main male character as well as all the other members of the clan show such sensitivity to help her heal...teaching her to read, letting her shop and choose her own clothes and food. While there is some sex between the two main characters, I don’t remember it being very graphic, instead what I remember about the story is all the love shown among the members of this odd family.
Another pretty laid back shifter romance from this series. I really loved the mystery that surrounded Delilah. The author kept me guessing and rooting for her to show her true colors and I wasn’t disappointed. I was also very happy that Kaid finally got his HEA. He really did deserve it. The author has done a great job at making each character unique and giving them their own voices.
The one thing that I really didn’t like is that the ending felt so rushed. I’m not saying that it was bad.... I was just hoping for a little more of a Big Bang moment. The banter between all the characters in the clan was great. I laughed and teared up but loved every second. I wish that the author had have more back story on Kaid. I know that in the first book we get that break down of all the clan members but I would have loved to see it expanded and more in-depth with each characters book. Overall it was really enjoyable and can’t wait to read Mav’s book. Then it will finally be Bam’s book which I am most excited for. 3 stars #2OCCJD
Continuing on from previous books. Avaleigh and her growing gang of boys and their mates are settling into domestic bliss. Except for Kaid ( and maverick ) who has been riled up and neglecting his alpha duties.. by causing fights and getting drunk. Amos is on his way with a surprise and he cannot wait to see the man who aided Him and Avaleigh when they escape Lurin. Turns out when he found out Lurin was dead, Amos went to check out the serpents property discovering documentation of his inhuman s experiments on other shifters ( Avaleigh ) Kaids motorcycle and something else...actually a someone else.
Delilah had been imprisoned all her life. Held captive by Lurin and his hench-otter slatterly ( who had a convinced himself that Delilah was his mate ) she is has very limited social communication skills but she knows and understands that Kaid is hers... her mate and her beasts mate...
You really need to have read the previous books first as the other characters are interweaved throughout this book doing their own things. The family ethos is the best part of this series. Lovely that Kaid ends up with one of the most enjoyable heroines I have ever read about. Totally wonderful, Delilah was enchanting with her lack of social graces and her behaviour was so much fun. What she does to Slatterly was great. The fact she is the most alpha woman I have read about made this book for me. More happening with the others and I liked how this story played out. After reading book one I decided this author was not for me but for some strange reason I had to know what happens to the others so thanks to KU it was easy to decide to read this book. I really quite enjoyed this story apart from these niggling things. Grammatical errors, sentence structures that this author seems to be poor on, sometimes the speech patterns off dropping words was annoying.
This just keeps getting better and better! You just can't help feel for these characters in everything they go through. The good, the bad, the ugly... Sandra Neeley hit her mark with this book! I stayed up til 4am just to finish reading.
Kaid's Queen brings a brand new character to the picture. One that Kaid has been waiting for his whole life. Just when he was beginning to lose all hope, she shows up right at his front door. Thing is, with everything Delilah had been through, the only way to approach her is with baby steps. With Kaid having guilt issues and trouble lurking around the corner, Kaid is doubtful about his future. One thing for sure, Delilah will leave everyone in shock when it comes time to release her monster. Well, everyone but Bam, who seems to be always a step ahead.
Definitely a must read for me! Every one of these books needs to be read. The dynamic of this family is infectious. Once you start, you will not be able to stop reading. Love this series and can't wait to read what Sandra Neeley comes up with next!
This is Kaid and Delilah's story . Kaid is slowly coming apart by being alone and not finding her ever One . But Amos coming to visit is just what he needs . Delilah is one torture soul due to all she has been through and now trusts no one ..... yet . Kaid's Clan is all coming outside to meet up with Amos since he is such a good friend to them all for helping out so much ( read book 1 to know what I mean !) .Man I so wanted to cry when Delilah found out she could eat without have to trade nor do anything for the food . Just have to add peeing on ashes !! LOL ! And I just have to say when I learned what her Monster was ??!! Holy cow ! I am loving this series ! This is well written and strongly recommended to all !
