The book struggles to strike a balance between providing too much detail and oversimplifying the concepts, resulting in an unsatisfactory resource for those seeking a practical and accessible guide to investment strategy.

The book covers a wide range of topics, from basic investment principles and asset allocation to more advanced topics such as behavioral finance and risk management. While the breadth of information is commendable, the book suffers from a lack of focus and organization. Concepts are often introduced without sufficient explanation or context, making it difficult for readers to fully grasp their significance and apply them to their own investment strategies.

Furthermore, the book's writing style is problematic, as it frequently uses technical jargon and convoluted language. This makes it challenging for readers, particularly those new to investing, to follow along and comprehend the material. The book would have greatly benefited from a more straightforward and concise writing style, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable reading experience.

Another issue with "Guide to Investment Strategy" is its failure to provide practical examples or real-life case studies to illustrate the concepts discussed. The book's predominantly theoretical approach may leave readers feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to apply the principles to their own investment decisions.

The final chapter about art investing and new art ‘funds’ and lending markets was very interesting.

Definitely gotta read it again. It's an advanced book with terms and situations that I don't understand at the moment. If you are a beginner don't read this book just yet.
