Victoria Staat has been writing for almost fifteen years. She always wanted to write, but sometimes life takes the front seat and you get the back. Yet that didn’t stop her from diving in and working hard.
She lives in Warren Michigan and has been married to her husband John for forty three years. The years have blessed her with a son John and a daughter Angie, and now a lovely granddaughter; Madison.
When Victoria isn’t writing, she’s in the kitchen cooking, or baking. Old time rock and roll, classic cars, squirt gun fights, and enjoying their cottage in Port Austin Michigan, are among her favorite things to do.
Now she starts a new chapter in her life. Because she’s proud and excited to be joining forces with Melange Publishing on her newest book; Eye Candy.
I am an author. I wasn't always, because my dreams took the backseat and my life took the front. Just like many of us out there. A husband in my early twenties, children, ailing parents and even a sick child. I was a florist, a bindery worker, receptionist even a manager of our school cafeteria. Always wanting to write. t wasn't until I was 50 when my daughter encouraged me to go for it. I started writing then and haven't stopped. My first published work is The Sixties Girl. And now there is the first of a 4 book series called. Big 4 Trucking "Eye Candy" All 4 books will be out this year and next. I have been married to my husband John for over 40 years, I have a son, daughter-in-law and a lovely granddaughter. Our daughter lost her battle with heart problems 11 years ago. However, because of her I can now say, "I'm an author." Check out my books here on goodreads and on my website. victoriastaat.vpweb.com
This book will get you hooked on Vicky's upcoming series. There is humor, sadness, and drama. throughout the book you will have surprises that you didn't see coming. You can't help but fall in love with Trent and Candy and their festy relationship. I loved the toughness of Candy, yet you can feel her heart is as big as the moon. Trent is a typical trucker only he also has a good heart and even with his manly ways, he's a good guy.
Someone seems to be out to get them both killed throughout the story and that will leave you on the edge of your chair. I highly recommend this book to men and women. It's great with many twists along the way.
