Bueno no ha estado mal. Tomo bastante introductorio donde apenas nos presentan a los protagonistas tanto a Tokita como a Kazuo. Viene bien explicado en la sinopsis. Los dibujos no son espectaculares pero están bien, las peleas de momento se ven bien.
Valoración: 6/10
Sinopsis: Kazuo Yamashita, un viejo empleado raso de una megacorporación, verá cómo su vida cambia drásticamente el día en que el presidente de la empresa lo convierte en el asistente de Ohma Tokita, un principiante pero poderoso luchador que representará a la compañía en los combates Kengan, encuentros de luchas clandestinas que desde el período Edo sirven para definir todo tipo de disputas entre corporaciones.
Valoración: 6/10

One of the stronges fighting manga out there which really recognizes the difference in the martial arts disciplines and how they work. Some very loveable and hateable characters. There are a ton of characters but you won't feel pressured to remember anyones name. On a plus each character is quite flushed out. Imai Cosmo is a freaking gem.

I liked how Kazuo's character was used to bring both a sense of reality and drama, although I found that dichotomy strange at first. But then I thought that his character was the one closest to the mundane harshness of the little man (and he was very well portrayed as such). So it made sense that he would be the most emotionally unstable. Still, it was funny how nobody made any notice of it, except a small remark from the protagonist.

Ce manga est une superbe découverte ! De l’action, des combats et une ligne directrice très prenante !
Kazuo est un simple employé de bureau dans la cinquantaine. Il travaille comme il le peut, pourtant, il va finir par être mêlé à des choses qu’il aurait préférés ignorer !
En effet, depuis des siècles, les grandes entreprises résolvent loin des regards, leur conflit, d’une manière simple : les combats Kenga. Chaque entreprise à un favori, un représentant, qui se bat pour lui sur un ring et le gagnant à tout, le perdant n’a plus rien.
Kazuo va se retrouver à être le manageur d’Ohma, le nouveau favori de l’entreprise dans lequel il travaille. Il va alors se retrouver malgré lui, plonger dans un monde qui le dépasse !
J’ai vraiment adoré l’histoire de A à Z. Vu comment ce titre fait du bruit, je m’attendais très clairement à des scènes d’actions magnifiques et je n’ai pas été déçu. En effet, le style de dessin du mangaka est parfait. Bien que les images soient immobiles, on a l’impression de voir le combat se dérouler sous nos yeux, on voit les personnages bouger. C’est sublime.
Toutefois, j’avais peur lorsque j’ai commencé le titre. Que cela ne soit l’excuse que pour du combat, mais aucune ligne directrice ou rien de bien prenant. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise de découvrir une intrigue prenante et captivante à souhait ! Tome après tome, on découvre de nouveau combattant et surtout l’intrigue s’installe.
En bref, ses quatre premiers tomes m’ont complètement convaincu. Je suis déjà fan de cette série et je suis très impatiente de voir les prochains tomes sortir. De l’action, de l’intrigue, que demander de plus ?!

Kengan Ashura is an intriguing and well-drawn shounen manga, but it remains to be seen whether the series has the depth to seriously set itself apart.
Without a doubt, Daromeon's art is truly exceptional and sets the series apart from competitors. But the premise of Ashura falls short of the bizarre nihilism of Shamo or the emotional weight of Ashita no Joe.
The manga begins with an obvious contradiction. In trying to establish itself as 'grounded,' 'gritty,' and without the trappings of inspiring, moralistic fiction, the underachieving salaryman who makes up one-half of this series' protagonists, Yamashita Kazuo, observes how the smaller, weaker person overcoming the strong remains in the realm of fantastic stories. And yet, Ashura is a fictional manga where that is precisely what happens. Yabako, in the first volume at least, does not resolve that contradiction and instead leaves us without establishing strong principles or themes.
The series' obvious debt to Fight Club, particularly the film version, also causes problems. The other protagonist, the brutal fighter Tokita Ohma, stays in a dilapidated mansion that is an obvious allusion to Tyler Durden's dwelling. In a sense, Ohma and Kazuo represent the split personality of Durden. But instead of suggesting that violence-for-its-own-sake and a return to humanity's primal urges represent a radical break from societal expectation and wage labor (this notion is, in turn, critiqued masterfully in the Fight Club film...) the Kengan fights are for the pleasure of the plutocrats and to resolve disputes between corporations. Ohma, despite engaging in illegal fights, is the same dead-end employee that Kazuo is.
I'm not convinced Yabako will go on to solve these issues. The manga doesn't seem to have any self-awareness about the parallel between Kazuo and Ohma as employees. Likewise, Yabako doesn't seem to recognize he has done a poor job establishing a tone of themes of his manga series. But, even if the plot is only to propel Ohma from one fight to the next, we'll still have Daromeon's art to enjoy.

A mi me gustan mucho los manwhas, mangas, animes, etc de acción.
Disfruto muchísimo ver las peleas en manga o animadas y hay veces que miro capítulos de nuevo solo para repetir las escenas de pelea, por eso decidí iniciar este manga, porque era de acción y le tenía fe.
Para empezar, no me agrado nada kazuo yamashita desde su aparición en el primer capítulo. Que es eso de que “un empleado japonés promedio con esposa e hijos después de ver esa pelea durmió con una mujer después de 8273737 años!” ??? Entiendo su actitud de ver peleas y luego tener miedo de que se lastimen o lo lastimen a él, normal si personalidad así que no me mal entiendan, pero desde ese momento en el primer cap no puedo tolerarlo, fue tan innecesaria esa línea de los creadores, entiendo q de ahí le hicieron trasfondo pero literalmente era innecesario poner eso y que haga eso, “sus instintos despertaron porque tenía que asegurar su semilla…” una cosa así decía yo estaba en shock honestamente casi lanzo el manga por la ventana porque fue asqueroso, y eso que he leído fanfics mas fuertes pero eso fue tan ramdom en el primer capítulo y encima de un viejito ramdom con una chica ramdom implicando infidelidad y no pude, me dio demasiado asco.
Segundo, se nota completamente que esto fue escrito por hombres para hombres que no tienen conciencia y piensan con el músculo y con lo que tienen pequeño.
Realmente la única mujer qué hay es la secretaría y es la típica secretaria sexy, fría, sin más personalidad que esa, etc. No digo que debería haber miles de mujeres pero me estreso mucho que las únicas veces que aparecieron fue por esa secretaría luego la ramdom que de la nada durmió con yamashita??? Nunca más se supo de la dichosa semilla, pobre yamashita; luego 2 chicas pegadas al oponente de ohma y ohma de “foll@t3las bien ahora mientras puedes etc etc” ??????? Luego la otra vez fue tmb 2 chicas junto a un candidato a príncipe tmb ahí pegadas como accesorios, tmb estaban unas señoras que apoyaban a un competidor como en 3 paneles, eso si lo rescato, ver mujeres normales no pegadas a un hombre o siendo la personificación de un fetiche me sorprendió 😃.
De verdad no soy de que aa incluyan a mujeres en todo pero de verdad que…. No sé que las apariciones de mujeres sean una secretaría sexy y luego solo pegadas a los hombres sin decir ni hacer nada me dio cosa… como mujer me sentí así ?????😀???? Porque yo hablo muchísimo con mujeres y tienen más personalidad que eso, yo se que lo de kazuo yamashita del inicio sería imposible,en la vida real con esa actitud que tenía después de ver la pelea nadie le daría bola, menos dormir con él, entonces veo la influencia de un hombre asalariado que soñó con eso en su imaginación porque eso ni se acerca a la realidad😀 no podía ni hablar ni caminar bien en ese momento, ya asumo yo a donde fue que fue para lograr estar con una mujer, bueno, otro que no lo pelan y tiene que recurrir a ir a lugares así .
Fuera de eso, las peleas me gustaron, ohma me cae masomenos por ese comentario tan sacado de no se si puedo escribirlo pero ajá, compre este manga en vano, lo voy a vender, o lo voy a botar, ya veré. No es para mi, para nada, todo acá es una ilusión aaa los más fuertes con mujeres miren chicos así es, así deben ser cuando lleguen ahí 🤪🤪 🐷.
Aprendan de Cillian Murphy y luego escriban bien su manga, gracias señores, y en los extras decía que los autores sabían artes marciales, eso también me parece muy Chevere y necesario para un manga de acción, ¡gracias! 😸🙏.
Ps: te recomiendo este manga si tienes 35 años, vives con tus padres mientras le pides enojado a tu mamá si ya hizo la cena, y sigues retrasando ir al gym desde q te lo propusiste, fuiste 1 día pagando la membresía de 6 meses y luego no fuiste, también, tienes sobrepeso y en un futuro sufrirás de diabetes e hipertensión, pero te sientes orgulloso de ti mismo mientras matas a adolescentes y niños en valorant sintiéndote el más fuerte y pones dinero en bitcoin porque te lo dijo un amigo en llamada de discord.

I shall use this to review the series as a whole, as I wouldn't count a volume from this as a book, as my goal to read 100 books would not really make sense if I read 27 volumes and counted each of them individually.
Kengan Ashura is about manly, buff, hardcore men beating the shit out of eachother to feed the machine that is capitalism. This isn't a joke it's literally the plot. It's silly, and youay wonder why I like this series so much.
Well, for one I am a lover of martial arts, and MMA/UFC as a whole, and this has a lot of knowledge about that art form, since believe it or not, there is art to fighting and Philosophy to be found from it.
And that's what I feel Kengan Ashura hides behind its seemingly silly hook. It deals a lot about the psychology about fighting, why there is entertainment behind it, why there is pride. We see at times what seems to be the confrontation of ideals fighting eachother, like the concept of weakness and why there is no shame in wanting to be stronger, even if by nature you can't, or the concept of loyalty and at what point is it healthy.
It also has surprisingly good subversions of the genre, and uses a trope as simple and overdone like a Tournament arc to build its story and make something intense and political out of it. I really recommend it, it's truly a very interesting story with far nore interesting aspects than I expected it to have.

Bouts of hypermasculinity battles determine the dealings of multimillion dollar businesses. It’s a shonen battle series but with ages with aged up characters and vulgarity thrown in.
Having seen the anime and lots of later artwork, this was disappointing. Still would highly recommend, but it’s not the complete package yet. This series is essentially wrestling with real violence, but I mean that in the best way. Kazou grounds the series as the regular, down on his luck guy reacting to all this. Later on, he brings in more heart, but in this volume he’s just reaction faces, which are top tier.
The series is bouts of hypermasculinity. Martial arts and money are the center of the world. Ohma takes on these massive, monster men. Its a good time, but there’s not enough to make it to 4 stars.

Leí el primer tomo y tiempo después vi los capítulos del anime que lo adaptaban. La ventaja es para el manga pero igual no lo seguí más allá, así que se me acumulan los tomos hasta que le toquen.
