Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
Title: Scandal: A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance Author: Willow Winters
➦Emma who is married to a billionaire named Thomas. After 2 year marriage to Thomas picture comes out with Thomas & another woman. The article say that they starting procedure for divorcing. Imagine the shook when she seen that.. Emma didn’t know what to believe
➦Like any billionaire playboy, Thomas has a past & that past has come back to haunt them. For what it’s worth Thomas didn’t do what the papers claimed, or did he???
➦This book is Lil different than I am use to reading by Ms Winters, We got stalker who been in the psych ward that has behavioral disorders issues. Trying to kill both Emma & Thomas- sound familiar? Even if it does this book got lovely flow to it. I know Thomas had notorious bad reputation for being womanizer in the past, but Emma just seem like she was set to believe anything & everything about this so called affair & didn’t want to hear Thomas side of it
➦You really need to read this one to find out the ending
I was caught from start to finish ➦Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
➦**"I voluntarily reviewed this ARC" ..** .**In exchange for an honest review.** Paulette Review ❤💕
Wow ok first let me say I loved(well liked a lot )Ms. Winters Valetti family books, her bad boy Billionaire scandal... Not so much. I actually hated the male lead totally a bully not alpha dominant in a good way, the female lead seemed spineless and the story just so so. To be honest I couldn't wait to finish this book. The last part of the book was actually better than the first but still not good and bam it's just all wrapped up, everybody is happy the end. Blah it sucked!! Super happy this was a free read for subscribing to Ms. Winters newsletter. Skip this book go straight to the mafia books!
I liked the book..I don't know why people didn't like Thomas..I liked him..What if he is a control freak. He loved her so much..She didn't even try to have faith in him..She was always insecure..He never even thought about another women, whereas she was ready to sleep with other man, atleast she couldn't do bcz Thomas was already there..I hated that..Thomas reaction when he saw what she was about to do, that was really sad. How much did he try to give her space & make her understand..Atleast they have a HEA.
A great book and different from some of the books I have read by Willow Winters. This starts off with Emma who is married to a billionaire named Thomas. They have been married for@ 2 years and then a picture comes out with Thomas and another woman as well as it starting that her and Thomas were divorcing.. Emma is torn and did not imagine that Thomas would do this to her. She ended up getting drunk with her best friend and refused to answer her phone when Thomas phoned. He shows up and she is furious, he tries to explain that the pictures were taken from his past. She begins to wonder how well does she know his past and if he is telling her the truth. The woman in the picture is insane and is out to kill either Emma or Thomas, she had been in a psychiatric hospital and was out. The police are searching for her yet can not locate her. What happens after this is somewhat unexpected. I can not give away the story, however, from what takes place Emma wants to get away from Thomas. She moves out of their house and into a small apartment. She pushes Thomas away and alienates herself from those she loves and cares for. Is there any hope for Emma? Will she recover or destroy herself? Will Thomas move on as Emma wants him to? This is a great read with romance and suspense as well as drama.
I liked this book! It was engaging and kept me turing the page to see what happened next, but some things just made me flip through and skip a couple of pages! It had a pretty good storyline. But some things were just annoying! The characters were okay in general but I think Thomas was just way to much of a control freak and everything had to be done his way! He seemed cagey about his past and would get angry when Emma would ask him questions about it and she had to practically force him to share details. You could see that they both loved each other in their own ways, even though Emma was totally insecure, even after she married Thomas! I was shocked to believe that she would jump to the conclusion that he would cheat on her and take the news for its word! From there everything just sort of spiraled out of control and nobody seemed to do anything about it! Even his security. I know what happened to Emma and Thomas was bad but they both just seemed to give up on each other! Emma just seemed that she need to grow a bit of a backbone and stand up for herself and not let other rule her! Overall I liked this book. Don't know if it would be something I would read over and over but it had some really good qualities to it.
I voluntarily received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
We have Emma and Thomas, from the outside they look like the perfect couple. Emma was insecure before she met Thomas and it's taken her a long time to come out of her shell. Thomas has always been secure, he's a billionaire and runs a very successful company. They met by chance when Emma bumped into him and spilled coffee all over his perfect shirt.
But Thomas has a past and that past has come back to haunt them. Someone from Thomas's past is trying to get him back. I was hooked the moment I started reading this book. I kept crossing my fingers and hoping that we would get our HEA. The stuff that this person is pulling on Thomas and Emma is down right freaky. Some points of the book were hard to read. I don't think I would have kept it all together either.
Good book and a good read. I will be checking out more by this author for sure.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. First I need to clarify the story I read was Thomas and Emma's story. I loved it - for me this is what happens after the HEA ending. Thomas and Emma are happily married, until a picture shows up on the evening news of Thomas and his long term mistress. This is the catalyst that tests their relationship and their ability to openly and honestly communicate. There is so much to this story, I can't put it into a review without spoilers - and I hate spoilers! The characters are real and easy to connect with. The story line is strong and draws you in from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down. Absolutely in love with Thomas and Emma and Kate is just a handful. Will have you crying, laughing, and cringing. Definitely for 18+ readers only.
I have been given a ARC copy of Billionaire Scandal by the author for my honest review.
Emma is happily married to the man of her dreams, who happens to a successful billionaire but her world is turned upside down by the news that her loving husband is having a affair. Thomas loves his wife and would never cheat on her, if only she would listen to him.
What they don't know is that Thomas was set up and now the couple have to be careful because someone else wants to be Thomas wife. Even if she has to kill to become the next Mrs Grant.
Scandal was a thoroughly good read and had me on a emotional rollercoaster. I really felt for Emma and Thomas, I had my fingers crossed for them to make it.
Oh, I hate to say this, but I was just not feeling this book! I love Willow Winters, but I felt a little confused by some parts of this, ie when it was flitting from past to present, it just wasn't clear enough. I wonder if there were too many issues to overcome and what actually started out as the main plot (the mad woman, trying to kill them) actually turned out to be secondary to the issues they were then dealing with. A good outcome in the end though and I can definitely say that some of the end chapters were gripping, causing curious anxiety of where Thomas and Emma were going to end up!
I absolutely loved reading the fabulous, exceptional, and amazing romance story written by the phenomenally talented Willow Winters. I voluntarily received a copy of the book. Thomas and Emma's story begins with a scandal involving Thomas and another woman, Lillian. Lillian wants Thomas back and will do anything that must be done to achieve her goal. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of intrigue, romance, and heartbreak, and a must read love story.
I enjoyed this passionate story. It has many similar elements to Fifty Shades. There is a womanizing, rich, dominate male who falls madly in love with a sweet but poor young woman. Once he sees her, he never wavers in his feelings for her. There are other people trying to pull them apart throughout the story. I liked the characters and the story. Well done.
🌟🌟STORYLINE CONTAINS POSSIBLE TRIGGER OR UPSET SITUATIONS 🌟🌟
Wow. This was one of those books I picked up without reading the blurb. And it was TOTALLY not what I was expecting.
And it left me....speechless.
For a good while now I've been on a lighthearted read spree and expected this to be another. But it really wasn't and I found I was ok with it!
But wow it tugged the heart strings!!!!!
You're pulled into the story from page one - hit the ground running into a screaming story about Thomas Grant and cheating on his wife Emma.
These are our main characters and they are portrayed exceedingly well.
It's refreshing to show how turmoil, stress, heartache, outside factors, seeds of doubts .. .all of these - can put so much pressure on two people and it's so easy to throw the towel in. To watch the journey of Emma and Thomas - BOTH as a couple and personally - is.....mind blowing.
So many aspects are covered here. Ms Winters has stretched herself with this one. And I think pulled it off. There are probably areas to go deeper or explore further but it would extend the book too much and more than likely lose the readers attention.
The emotions reached here are unlimited....anger, hesitation, Love, fear, uncertainty, lust, determination, trust, abandoned.....
Scandal by Willow Winters Thomas is a self-made billionaire. He has lived his life as he wants and has a reputation of a ladies man. He has made no apologies for who he is. However when he meets Emma he wants to be a better man and he only wants her. Emma has always suffered with her insecurities, so when billionaire Thomas pursues her she can’t believe it. When they get married she feels she has the perfect life until Thomas past comes back to haunt them. Can they survive and more importantly can Emma ever get over the tragedy that has happened. I felt for Emma, she already suffered with her insecurities and then to have live through what happened was awful. Thomas came across as jealous and possessive. However he had a domineering way they seemed to work for his relationship with Emma. One thing was for sure, Thomas truly loved Emma. The story comes in and out of time which creates curiosity. It keeps you guessing. The story deals with past mistakes, and the journey of healing. Overall a good read. Hot Books & Sassy Girls Blog
I wasn’t sure whether to give this book three or four stars. I erred on the side of generosity, but I’m still not sure.
The storyline itself is good enough. A Fatal Attraction-style stalker who makes Thomas and Emma’s life a living hell. It all reaches its tragic conclusion by the halfway point of the book.
The second half of the book focuses on the breakdown of their marriage in the light of what has happened. Emma punishes herself for what has happened, feeling that she makes her husband miserable and that he deserves better. She hates the pitying look in his eyes.
Emma and Thomas have a slightly unconventional relationship, almost bordering on D/s. When he starts to treat her how he used to, taking control and being the Alpha male he is, Emma responds better as he doesn’t make her feel broken.
An interesting book which, as usual, is well written by the author. Not her finest, but not bad by any means. I think I’ll stick with four stars.
To be honest this book started slow but once everything started happening I couldn’t put it down. This book does go back and fourth at times but it’s not bad at all. You can still keep up. And for that I’m grateful because this book really is amazing ! Emma and Thomas goes through so much as a couple. After life changing events Emma goes down a deep dark hole that she hast to climb herself out of. But will she beable to pull herself out of her depression and will Emma and Thomas beable to rekindle the flame that they youst to have??! Read this book and find out:)
This book is a must read if you are a fan of Willow Winters as she truly does keep the readers attention with the plot and the varied storylines. The story of Emma and Thomas does not follow the boy meets girl norm. This book starts after they are already married and without giving too much away the troubles start there. This is yet another fantastic read by Willow Winters roll on the next book.
You'll enjoy some sexy scenes, and a captivating plot with this gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, emotional ride that'll leave you spent. The journey these two went through is nothing short of tragic and had me crying more than once. I'm thankful for the HEA! Ms. Willow knows how to capture the readers attention and deliver the goods.
Not your normal "I met you, we hate each other, I love you, then happily ever after story. Not predictable. It is an Exciting, couldn't put the book down kind of book. Thomas does everything he can to protect and be truthful to his wife. This is a must read! Love the author and the story line! Very well written and put together!
Phenomenal i laughed, i cried, my heart broke, but i fell in love with Thomas and Emma. This author has out done herself with this story line. You can't help but cheer on Thomas and then in part's want to shake Emma to wake up. I read part of the story trying to tell them what to do. Once again great story. Will definitely read this again.
A very exciting book. I was caught from start to finish. I both laughed and cried. There was so much action and it was never boring. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone and I look forward to reading more from this author.
I think I would have titled this with Alpha Male instead of Bad Boy, there were flashes of Thomas' bad boy past but he was mostly a dominant male, taking care of Emma and bringing her back to him. This was a great story!
Received copy through instafreebie. Writing a voluntary review 3 1/2 stars
This book is an easy read to me. I actually liked it but that was extent of it. It includes lies, deception and touches on post traumatic disorder. I think the end was a bit rushed but still over all a good book
Wow! Intense book! I loved it! The storyline was great! Full of suspense & drama, and let's not forget Sex! Thomas definitely has stamina, and if I were Emma, I'd ask to be punished every day!! I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I liked that this book was slightly different than most in its genre. It had the essence of a thriller and I enjoyed that. I would've given more stars if the MC wasn't annoying. Full discussion coming soon.
Ms Winters never disappoints. A scandal breaks out and Emma doesn't know what to believe about her beloved Thomas. She included he loves her but why is there a leaked photo of him and another woman. It soon becomes more complicated as the "other woman" weaves her way into their lives.
This wasn't my favorite of this author's books. I don't like females that allow people to bully them and I don't like misrepresenting an alpha male to an alpha butt hole.
