I'm so happy to be back in Wishing Well, Texas! This is such a great series by Melanie Shawn and I'm always anxious to dive into their latest book.
Bryson O'Sullivan has always loved living in Wishing Well, loved his family and has been solely focused on his job. Now that his Dad has "retired" from running the bar that the family owns, Bryson has taken over the day to day responsibilities. When he gets a call from the security company in the middle of the night, he figures that it is once again the work of the pesky raccoon that has been wrecking havoc from time to time. When Bryson arrives and finds the intruder, he finds the last thing he ever expected - a twelve year old boy trying to get drunk.
Kelsi Robbins has never had an easy life. Her Mom, while around, checked out of her life early on leaving her to raise her brother at the age of twelve. When Kelsi turned eighteen, she took off and had no plans of returning until she found out that her Mom had been put in jail and her younger brother was now in the system. She did what no adult had ever done for her and put Milo's needs ahead of her own and went and got temporary custody of him. They've now started a new life in Wishing Well, but will they be welcomed with open arms considering what her twelve year old brother does just after they hit town?
Meeting Kelsi has opened Bryson's eyes in a major way. He knows from the minute he sees her that she could be it for him and all he wants to do is help her and Milo. The question is, will Kelsi let him? And, will Kelsi be able to fight the undeniable attraction between she and Bryson even though she solely wants to focus on Milo?
I really loved how this book unfolded and how all of the relationships were formed. The chemistry was palpable between Kelsi and Bryson from the beginning and I also loved the sweet friendship between Sadie and Milo. While this is the sixth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. With that said though, I would definitely encourage you to pick up the rest of the series - you won't be sorry!
If smoldering hot yet adorably sweet romance stories are your thing, you are going to love Trusting Bryson. It has the sweet 'we take care of our own' small town feeling, yet it has a taste inner city flair. It is strong on family values, friends for life, respecting your elders, and romantic gestures, yet the detailed sex scenes melt the pages, are vigorous, and imaginative. The dual first person point of view gives you the window to the dreams, hopes, and concerns of the protagonists, as well as the lustful yearnings they experience when in close proximity to each other. The characters from the main couple to the people around them are charming and delightful, people you want to spend time with and get to know better. Bryson O’Sullivan is... perfect. He is just a perfect hero, and he is perfect for Kelsi Robbins, and Kelsi and he are perfect together, and his influence in Milo's life is amazing. Bryson is stubborn, impatient, workaholic, honest, caring man with the softest heart you can imagine. He loves his hometown, his friends, his family, his job, and helps to renovate his parent's house when not sleeping. Kelsi grew up without knowing parental love or care. She has acted as a mother to her baby brother since she was twelve. Her romantic relationships have left a lot to be desired, and she knows she can not mess the temporary guardianship she finally got with Milo. But Bryson is making it hard to hold on to her plans, the magnetic pull they have is stronger than anything coming in-between them. Trusting Bryson is an entertaining story, it is fun and delightful, hitting all the three S's with swooning and sighing and smiling. There's a minimum amount of drama and trouble, instead delivering all those good, uplifting, cheerful thoughts and feelings that you get when reading about a delicious romance. The perfect feel-good summer romance to relax with and forget about the worries of the world! ~ Four Spoons with a teaspoon on the side
Sweetly sexy, engaging, emotionally charged and funny small town romance with a very realistic couple and the challenges they face looking for a stable foundation to build on.
Bryson O’Sullivan is so sweet, funny and just the perfect hometown hero to be a role model for a young boy. Kelsi Robbins is trying to start over put the past in her rear-view and start a new life for her and her little brother in Wishing Well, Texas. Her brothers first act of rebellion in their new home is what brings Bryson into their lives and the sparks fly. Loved every heart pounding moment of this entertaining journey.
Omg I lam loving this series so much!!! I could not put this book down once I started!! This is a hot, sexy love story between Bryson and Kelsi!! I loved this story so much!! Everyone should read this book and definitely the whole series!! Don't wait to give spoilers so all I will say is don't hesitate to one click buy this book!!
Kelsi was raised by a terrible mother who is now in jail for trying to get someone murdered. Kelsi left home the minute she turned 18, leaving behind her eight year old brother. Five years later she finds out her mother is in jail and Milo is in foster care. Kelsi spends all her money on lawyers and becomes his temporary guardian. Milo, however, hasn't forgiven her for abandoning him. Kelsi and Milo relocate to Wishing Well for a new start. Right after they get there Milo breaks into Bryson's bar, but Bryson catches him. To make reparation Milo has to help Bryson and his friends fix up his Bryson's parents' house.
I had a few problems with this book. One, we don't find out Bryson's age, but he must be at least ten years older than Kelsi. I know this happens in real life, but it still creeps me out.
Two, both Bryson and Kelsi are absolutely gorgeous. Not just handsome and pretty, but gorgeous. That's ok with a lot of readers, but I like my characters a little more relatable. Bryson is very confident in his extreme looks and I got annoyed.
Milo starts to fly right as soon as he starts working on the house. Five years of resentment and heartbreak disappear immediately and Milo becomes the perfect kid.
The insta-lust and love at first sight was over the top. Things tingle then explode and spread like lava down the side of a volcano. Hearts flutter and lady parts go full Southern belle. I don't mind insta-love per se, but reading about body parts having unlikely responses to seeing each other over and over again got old.
These books just keep getting better and better! Bryson is the Irish bar owner that wants to settle down. He gets a lot of female attention, but never feels like any are "the one". After getting a security call about a disturbance at his bar in the morning, he goes up there to find that a 12 year old boy has broken in and Is currently drinking a bottle of liquor. What he does, is call in his best friend, the sheriff. Before the sheriff gets there, a woman walks in looking for her little brother that snuck out. What she finds, is her brother on the floor with open liquor bottles and the hottest man she ever laid eyes on! Kelsi, has temporary of her brother, Milo. She pretty much raised him since there mom was never around. At the age of 12, Kelsi leaves home with a boyfriend and doesn't return until she can't reach her mom's phone to check on Milo. After doing research, she finds out that her brother was out in there a group home. Kelsi set out to find him and love him out to Wishing Well, Texas to start a new life. Not that easy...Milo doesn't trust her anymore since she left him years ago. Kelsi is dead set in doing just that. When the woman walks in to his bar, he is speechless. She is the most beautiful woman he has laid eyes on and instantly knows she is "the one". But first, he wants to help this troubled young boy that broke in to his bar. He has been there and the town rallied behind him to get him straight. He wants to pay it forward to Milo. He deserves a chance. Between a man, who wants to settle down, a troubled boy who just wants structure and a woman who wants to feel safe, this book has it all. I love when a book has more than one story going on...you have Bryson trying to break down Kelsi and show her that she is worthy of his love and Kelsi who is trying to prove to Milo that he is her priority and That she won't leave him again...this book gave me all the feels! Can't wait for the next one!

"Trusting Bryson" is written by Melanie Shawn, and it is the 6th book in the Wishing Well, Texas series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It features Bryson O’Sullivan and Kelsi Robbins.
When Bryson's father told Bryson how he knew his mother was the one he simply said that he just knew. Bryson never understood that until he saw Kelsi. Everything around him simply disappeared and all that was left was her. He just knew.
Kelsi and her younger brother, Milo, moved to Wishing Well recently. With their mother in prison, Kelsi takes care of her brother and is his guardian. Milo is causing mischief. He broke into Bryson's bar and got drunk. Bryson doesn't want to file a police report, but he wants Milo to work off the damages that he caused. Milo will be helping out with renovating Bryson's parents' home.
Bryson is so swoonworthy! It really was love at first sight for him, and he would do anything for Kelsi. One thing I absolutely swooned over were Bryson's letters to her. He always added several "P.S." comments in his letters which were simply adorable! Kelsi has strong feelings for him, but she's weary of starting a relationship with him due to Milo. She wants to prove to Milo that he's her number 1 priority. But Bryson is slowing knocking down the walls around Kelsi's heart.
Will Milo straighten out and stop causing trouble? Will Kelsi realize that her and Bryson are good together? Will she give love a chance?
I absolutely LOVED "Trusting Bryson"! I read this story in less than a day! Wonderful job by this sister duo of Melanie and Shawna! Looking forward to reading Sawyer's book next!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved this story so much. I am really loving this Wishing Well series. This book pretty much stands alone. It introduces two characters that we have not seen much of before.
Bryson O’ Sullivan is an Irish american living in Wishing Well and running his family bar. He has a wonderful set of parents and a great relationship with his sister Jade and really good friends. But he is single and there are not a lot of options in Wishing Well for romance.
One night he gets a call that there is a break in at his bar. He thinks a racoon but he goes over to check it out and that is when he meets Milo, a 12 year old who just moved to town with his new guardian and sister.
His sister pops in and that’s when Bryson falls for Kelsi within the first few minutes. But Kelsi has always gone for bad boys and with his hard body and tattoos Bryson looks like a bad boy.
In an effort to teach Milo a lesson, Bryson has him work on his parents remodel and that’s how both Kelsi and Milo get to know Bryson and his family. At the point when finally realises she is NOT a bad boy, she decides she has to not have tons of boyfriends while Milo is young.
That is the core of this story. It should resonate with millions of single moms out there. You are single with kids. What do you do? Do you date? Do you agree to be alone? There are no easy answers and Kelsi works hard to resist Bryson and well Bryson works hard to make it hard to resist him.
This is a VERY HOT story. Lots and lots of sex scenes. At a point I stopped reading them because I wanted to know what happened in the story and with the characters. I really loved Byson and Kelsi and I totally understood their love struggle.
OH MY!! Words escape me in trying to describe how much I loved reading Trusting Bryson by the amazing Melanie Shawn, the sixth book in their Wishing Well Texas series. Bryson O’Sullivan enjoys his life, his family, and friends, but this sexy Irish-Texan has yet to find “the one”. He had heard the stories of his grandfather and father falling in love at first sight but didn’t believe it would happen to him; that is until he discovers the twelve year-old who broke into his family’s bar. When Kelsi Robbins walks into the closed bar to find her wayward brother she never expected to set eyes on the tall, gorgeous, man talking to her brother. Kelsi has always wanted to find someone she could trust and who would want to take care of her. As the new guardian for her younger brother, Milo, she had her hands full and plenty to worry about. She felt that she shouldn’t fall in love with Bryson but how was she going to avoid that from happening? Through their amazing and vivid writing Melanie Shawn did an outstanding job tackling this love at first sight story. I genuinely enjoyed reading Trusting Bryson and was pleased with the way Melanie Shawn found a way for Kelsi to find trust Bryson and let him take care of her and Milo. I enjoyed the way the authors wrote scenes to show the closeness of the town and how they take in strangers as if they lived there forever. Although this book is part of a series, it can also be read as a stand-alone. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next story in the Wishing Well series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Kelsi and her brother Milo have just moved to Wishing Well, TX from Detroit to get a fresh start. Kelsi has a job as an aesthetician in the local hair salon. Just a few days after moving to town, Kelsi discovers Milo is missing (in the middle of the night) and traces him to the local bar, The Tipsy Cow.
Bryson O’Sullivan and his sister Jade, run The Tipsy Cow for their newly retired Dad. The Cow had recently had several “run ins” with a renegade raccoon. When the alarm went off shortly after Bryson had finished the night shift at the bar, he knew his “friend” had returned. Hustling down the the bar, Bryson discovers a broken window. He enters the bar to find 12 year old Milo slugging down whiskey like there’s no tomorrow. A minute later, Kelsi runs in to see a calm Bryson talking to a drunken Milo. When Bryson sees Kelsi, his heart is immediately struck by Cupid’s arrow.
Bryson decides to give Milo a chance to redeem himself and decides to have Milo work off his debt daily on the renovations Bryson has been doing to his parents’ home. Milo is awestruck by the men from Wishing Well and works respectfully and diligently to mend his ways.
Kelsi also feels a deep attraction for Bryson, but her responsibilities to Milo come first, so she is off men until Milo grows up. Bryson respects her wishes, but still pursues his quest.
I love the folks from Wishing Well. Melanie Shawn have done a terrific job of creating lasting love with a fun story.
Trusting Bryson is part of the Wishing Well TX series by Melanie Shawn and just like all the previous books, is a fun, sweet and sexy romance with a small-town vibe.
Bryson is a home town boy who loves his little community and who would do anything for someone who is in need. Kelsi has moved to Wishing Well to give herself and her brother Milo the fresh start they so desperately need. She is struggling to give him the normal life he needs and craves after having lived with an alcoholic and mentally unstable mother. She encounters Bryson for the first time when Milo breaks into his bar. Bryson immediately is drawn to her but she has trust issues due to her mother’s behavior so she is wary of his attention and his offers to help her out.
Rather than punish Milo for his misdeeds, Bryson puts him to work helping him remodel his parents’ house. The O’Sullivan family enfolds Kelsi and Milo into their lives and they begin to experience what a true family is really like. Spending time with his family and with his friends helps to break down Kelsi’s defenses and she starts to admit to herself how she really feels about Bryson.
I love this series and enjoy the visits to this fictional town. This story centers on Bryson and Kelsi but previous characters are included which adds to the small-town flavor of the book. Typical of books by Melanie Shawn, there is a bit of humor interspersed in the storyline (i.e. Casey and Ben the ducks and David and Goliath the cat and dog). I enjoyed this book and recommend it and the whole series without hesitation.
I love this series so much! Wishing Well is just that kind of small town that makes you wish you lived in that is full of wonderful characters created by Melanie Shawn. Bryson O'Sullivan is one of these characters. He is hardworking, funny, caring, protective, sweet and did I forget to mention gorgeous and sexy? He has such a great sense of humor as we see with the names of his animals and the notes he writes. It is love at first sight for him when his eyes first land on Kelsi Robbins, who is new to town and temporary guardian of her 12 year old brother Milo, who decided it was a good idea to break into Bryson's family's bar and drink some booze. He feels that instant jolt of electricity that has him thinking she is "the one". From that point on, he is determined to win her heart but because of her mother's history with men and her determination to just be there for Milo and take care of him, she is not interested in a relationship with Bryson or anyone and proves to be a tough nut to crack. She feels the strong attraction and chemistry between them though and has a hard time resisting the funny, charming Bryson who writes the most adorable notes ever with the cutest run of P.S.'s at the end I've ever seen and a heck of a sign off too! This is enough to make any woman swoon and give in. She opts for giving in to one night with Bryson. One incredibly hot, steamy, sexy night that will never be enough. Bryson just needs to convince Kelsi to take a chance on him, on love.
Love this story, this couple, this series!! This is 5 star romance all the way!!
Bryson has taken over his father’s bar so his dad can retire. One day a woman named Kelsi walks in and Bryson is in love. Bryson looks like the ultimate bad boy, the kind that Kelsi always falls for. She has decided that she can’t fall for that type any more. She has her 12 year old brother to raise now. Their mother had men traipsing in and out of her house all their life and that was not way for a child to live. Bryson is actually a super guy with a heart of gold. He does his best to talk Kelsi into have a relationship with him. Kelsi was so good about taking care of her brother since she had left him when he was younger. She felt guilty and wanted to give him the kind of childhood he should have. The women of Wishing Well were so kind and pulled Kelsi into their fold. Kelsi had never had a man that treated her they way Bryson does. She is so torn between her feelings for Bryson and what she feels her brother needs. Bryson knows what he wants and will do what he can to get Kelsi. Bryson also loves Milo (Kelsi’s brother) and has helped him out. This is a good, sweet book that I encourage you to read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
Resident and bar owner, Bryson O’Sullivan of Wishing Well, Texas falls victim to the embers of passion and loses himself to the blazing love that erupts in his heart. But “Trusting Bryson” maybe a little bit of a hurdle for the new resident of Wishing Well, Kelsi Robbins, who just moved into town with her brother, and as his guardian.
Kelsi Robbins feels the sparks of attraction, but a painful past away from her brother has her walls up, and trying to mend the relationship with her brother has her fully occupied. And as readers, “Trusting Bryson” is all that's needed to enjoy this sweet romance and the stunning cover!!
The sister writer/author duo of Melanie and Shawna need no introduction. Pros at creating charming love stories that stoke the hearts of the readers; trust me when I say, you’ll have loads of fun, tingling sensations, heart palpitations and immense satisfaction of reading a good romance that warms the heart and brings immense pleasure.
Received an ARC from the author for an honest review.
This newest entry into Melanie Shawn’s Wishing Well series is just as fresh as the first one.
Bryson O’Sullivan loves Wishing Well and, although he has good friends and family, there is still something missing in his life. When he lays eyes on Kelsi Robbins, he feels like a puzzle piece has just fallen into place. As happens in his family, he instantly knows that she is the “one”. Now, he will just need to convince Kelsi that they are meant to be together, and that includes making her brother part of the family. Kelsi hasn’t had an easy time of it lately and learning to trust Bryson may be too hard for her.
This is a great story and I loved it. The secondary developing relationship between Sadie and Milo is an added bonus. All of the books in the series can be read stand-alone. But if haven’[t read any yet and want the full experience, I would highly recommend starting with the first book and reading them in order as you will get to know all of the characters as they grow and fall in love.
*I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Loved Bryson! He falls for Kelsi from the first moment he sees her. His notes to her are so sweet & tender. Just the number of p.s.'s shows you how intense his feelings are. I thought some of them were hilarious & I caught myself giggling. He's bound & determined Kelsi isn't going to ignore him.
Kelsi is doing the best she can. She's determined to make up to Milo the fact that she wasn't there when he needed her. She is fighting her attraction to Bryson because she wants to concentrate just Milo. Will Bryson's persistence wear her down?
I love these characters! Milo has a chip on his shoulder & I love seeing it slowly chipped away. Milo & Sadie's friendship is so sweet & I think it's just what he needed. I like seeing the way Bryson's family pulls both Kelsi & Milo in & won't let go of them. It's typical of a small town just like the busy gossip mill. This writing team has done another excellent job!
I really enjoy the new series of stories set in Wishing Well, Texas and this new addition is very welcome! Bryson, was born and raised in Wishing Well. Went away for college and knew he would comeback. Kelsi is a newcomer. She recently moved to Wishing Well with her brother Milo, as his temporary guardian. Her goal is to live a simple life. Then Milo meets Bryson and simple goes out the window. There were some great moments and dialogue in this book. The story is told in alternating POV and I have to say Kelsi has some great lines (even if they are just in her head) "Throw in a cocky attitude and a motorcycle and I went into full be still be still my heart Scarlett OHara mode" is just one of many ( Paul Bunyan anyone! ) I liked the certainty with which Bryson pursues Kelsi (he just knows) and I love her devotion to her brother. They make a great couple (and team with Milo). This book had it all ( family, romance, sizzling sex and tender moments) Can't wait for more! Sawyer is going to be so much fun!!!!!
Trusting Bryson is book 6 in the Wishing Well series. In this story we meet Bryson and Kelsi. Bryson grew up in Wishing Well. He never thought about leaving it's his home and he loves it there. Kelsi just moved to Wishing Well with her 12 year old brother, Milo. Kelsi and Milo have not had the best upbringing and are fighting hard to overcome those obstacles. Bryson and Kelsi have a unique story to tell their grandkids of how they met. If you want to know then you will have to read the story. When they met it was an instant attraction. Unfortunately Kelsi fought tooth and nail on that attraction. She does not want any romantic relationships, she is focused on raising Milo the best way she can. We see Bryson fight the barriers that Kelsi puts up little by little. Will Kelsi finally but her guard down and see what's in front of her? Can Bryson help Kelsi move on from her past? I love how we see past characters in this book and we get some sort of story of where some characters are headed. I absolutely love the writing style of Melanie Shawn. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. I give this a 5 star rating!
I love all of Melanie Shawn's series! The Wishing Well series is one of the writing duo's new series and it keeps on delivering great stories. Bryson and Kelsi's story is no exception and was another great installment.
Bryson is a bartender who meets Kelsi after her little brother, to whom she is a guardian, breaks into his bar. Bryson looks to his own past experiences and decides to allow Milo to work off his damages which also gives him a reason to get to know Kelsi and convince her he is her soulmate. From the moment he laid eyes on her he knew she was the one.
Kelsi has just moved to Wishing Well with new responsibilities and baggage from her past relationships especially the one with her mother. She has learned to put up a wall and take care of herself and is determined to not let Bryson, or any other men, into her heart. Will Kelsi allow Bryson to break down her barriers and give her a future full of love and comfort she deserves?
Melanie Shawn's writing style is witty, full of adventures and always keeps me on my toes. I definitely suggest picking up this book and giving them a try, you will be hooked on all their series like I have been!
This book so fantastically great that I couldn’t put it down. Bryson it a total dreamboat. Kelsi is a loyal, beautiful (as Bryson kept saying) woman. Together that make an explosive couple. Bryson was a good guy that had a good job, a loving family and loving personality. Kelsi was a smart, bright woman that made her own lotions and face creams and would do anything for her brother. Bryson met Kelsi when her brother got into trouble at Bryson’s bar. Bryson felt an instant attraction to Kelsi and he wasn’t the only one feeling it. The harder Bryson tried to be with Kelsi the harder she tried to push him away. But you can only resist for so long before you finally give in and once that happens it will take more power than you realize to keep your distance. Through the whole book Bryson would say things to Kelsi that just made my heart melt. A read you will not regret. Fall in love with Bryson, Kelsi, Milo and of course Goliath. P.S. I absolutely love Bryson. P.S.S. I loved his letters to her. P.S.S.S. I love the passion between these two. P.S.S.S.S. I love the protectiveness that Bryson feels for Kelsi and Milo. P.S.S.S.S.S. Once you read the book you will understand the P.S.
Bryson has grown up in the small town of Wishing Well since he was a kid. He has never really thought of leaving, he loves everything about the town and the community the only thing missing in his life is the one!
Kelsi had a rocky childhood to say the least so when she becomes the legal guardian of her brother she is hoping the move to Wishing Well will give her brother the childhood she never had. What Kelsi didn’t count on is her brother bringing a very handsome distraction into her life.
This story will pull at your heart and make you smile from the first page. I really loved this story! It was sweet with just the right amount of sexy. It was really refreshing to read a book where the story didn’t thrive on drama. This was just as slow burn of attraction that developed into the HEA you are hoping for from the first page. I have read all the Wishing Well books and all of them have been fantastic. This book left me with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart.
A sexy, feel-good romance! We've met several of the characters in previous books in the series, so it's fun to get to see them again as a new couple emerges in town!
Kelsi Robbins didn't have a great childhood, and life hasn't turned out like she'd hoped too much in adulthood either, but she's stepping up to make sure her little brother gets better! As temporary guardian, she moves them to Wishing Well, Texas for a new job and a new start. Her little bro is butting heads with her and getting into trouble ... until one night trouble finds him right back in the form of a burly man and his dog.
Bryson O'Sullivan is happy with his life in Wishing Well, he loves his job and his friends and family, but he didn't realize exactly what he'd been missing out on until he sees her. Literally love at first sight. He steps up to help give her little brother some tough love to teach him a lesson he learned as a kid, and sets out to make Kelsi see that he's a trustworthy guy. Will she give him or chance or has she been burned one too many times in life?
Bryson O'Sullivan is the sexy Irish-Texan bar owner in Wishing Well, Texas. Everyone loves him and Goliath, his dog. He's used to taking Goliath with him to the bar in the middle of the night when his security alarm goes off because it's usually an unwanted raccoon. Until the night he does not find a raccoon, but instead finds a drunk 12 year old boy. Kelsi Robbins isn't quite sure how to handle her new guardianship of her little brother Milo, especially when she tracks him down in Bryson's bar. I loved how Bryson saw through Milo getting drunk and being a troublemaker and instead saw the scared boy underneath. He enlists the help of some well known faces in Wishing Well. I love how Melanie Shawn always shows how connected everyone is in a small town. I also love how that town rallies around one of its own when the time is needed. Kelsi is not used to small town life and doesn't trust in things. She needs to find it in herself to not only trust the town and her new friends, but also Bryson and what he has to offer. Yet another great Melanie Shawn book!
Irish bartender Bryson, a cutie who makes brief appearances in the other Wishing Well books, finally gets his shot at love. Unexpectedly he meets Kelsi while in the middle of an unfortunate incident with her little brother. Embers are burning just below the surface for these two, but it takes a while to ignite. Mainly due to Kelsi’s focus on her brother. Mainly due to Kelsi’s focus on her brother and her own stubbornness. But once it gets going, whew!
It’s a good book, a quick read. Kelsi is a strong character, a little hard to get to know. You get more of an insight, I thought, to Bryson’s character, which is adorable to see how quickly he is smacked upside the head by Cupid. It was good to see some of the other characters from previous titles make a reappearance. I also love having a youngsters and animals in the book, so much more relatable and real-life.
I want to live in Wishing Well.
*I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.*
I didn't know I wanted to read Bryson's story until I started this. I enjoy this series and always have several laugh out loud moments when reading anything by Melanie Shawn.
Bryson is the sweetest bad boy that you'd ever meet. He's a business owner helping his mom and dad. He also has a big heart when dealing with troubled teens. Milo and Kelsi should be eternally grateful. This brother sister duo hasn't had it easy but Kesli has the strength and determination to be there for her brother.
The couple has immediate chemistry but was a little slow to connect. Kesli is a bit leary but with Bryson's persistence it pays off. Once this couple gave into each other I didn't want them to look back.
I'm so looking forward to Sawyer's book. Our gentle silent hero who finally falls in love .
I received a copy of the book and happy to review it too
This story took my breath away, I wanted to be Kelsi so bad.. Kelsi Robbins packed up her things and moved to Wishing Well, to start a new life with her young brother Milo.. After her mother was sentenced to 10 years in prison.. Milo had a tough upbringing, now its Kelsi's mission to make a better life for him.. Bryson O'Sullivan is one sexy, Irish, Texan, with a heart as big as the moon.. A raccoon has been running riot at his bar, so when security calls to say someone has broken into his bar, he's expecting to find the fury little pain. But the last thing he expects is a young boy, helping himself to his alcohol and he certainly didn't expect the boy's hotter than sin, sister to walk into his life.. Bryson falls for the beauty instantly, but she fights their attraction, she thinks Bryson is a bad boy and that is the last thing she needs.. Milo is her main priority and she's determined to stay away from the sexy as sin Bryson, but its going to be a hard fight, when she realises he's not who she thought he was.. David and Goliath had me in stitches, Bryson had me swooning and Kelsi found a place in my heart, with the love she has for Milo.. I can't wait for the next instalment in the Wishing Well series!
This latest book in the Wishing Well series by Melanie Shawn gives us the story new girl Kelsi who's recently single and raising her soon to be teenage brother Milo, and Bryson, hometown bartender, the good guy who looks like a bad boy. For Bryson it was love at first sight. For Kelsi, while the attraction is there from the start as well, she's got the idea stuck in her head that in order to be the best guardian to her brother she needs to maintain a single focus of raising him and not have any boyfriends in her life right now. OMG! I loved it! I feel like I am becoming a broken record on all of my reviews because I am running out of ways to say how much I enjoy these books!! Honestly, I think this may have been my favorite book of the series so far. Right from the very beginning I was hooked on the relationship between Kelsi and her brother Milo. I loved seeing how Milo gradually just found himself and warmed up to Kelsi. And of course there is Bryson. The way he fell for her from the moment he saw her was so cute, and not to mention the way he just embraced Milo without even a second thought. LOVED everything about it!
