This is a fantastic read! I was entangled in laughter, amusement, suspense, and tension—the sort of clever read which complements a cocktail, making me feel a kindred bond with the reluctant hero Boone Linsenbigler! In addition to the life-threatening predicaments Boone finds himself in, tucked away in angler getaways or at a secluded island owned by a drug lord, I enjoyed the backdrop of mixology, fly fishing, and product branding. By the way: I made one of the cocktails from the book! Can’t wait for Brian Wiprud’s next installment!

About 15 years ago, I started reading Brian Wiprud's books. He has such a quirky, unique perspective.

Having recently rediscovered him starting with Linsenbigler, I have stepped back into his mind. I have missed him.
