this is a very good book, easily the best in the series. it follows the main character and her pony Ned as they go on holiday together and have fun at the beach and pier. things get bad though when her brother is conned into giving away his money to have it 'doubled' (he hands over £10, he's given back £20 of fake money) so Natalie and Ned the main characters ride off to get the criminals punished.
