An easy read with a lot of good points and inspiration. The author starts off by saying he didn't get a professional editor because he didn't want the book to be for 'really intelligent people' only. I can't say I agree with that, a little editing would have cleaned up some of the sentence structures and typos, and a professional would have been more than capable of keeping the tone of voice just as informal.
Regardless of that though it was interesting and another good perspective on the Network Marketing life to take into account for my business. I'm not sure what businesses he's worked with, but while I agree with the fundamental idea of growing a team and delegating so you don't have to manage every person, I'm unlikely to be the type to sit on a beach and leave everyone to it. There's a lot to be said for support, incentives and teamwork too. I get the feeling he has a boss mentality rather than a leader, but maybe that's just me.

I know Jordan; he's a guy with a big heart. His story of how he went from broke to very successful through network marketing is pretty inspiring. The book is written more like an autobiography with lessons learned than a step-by-step how-to, which I think was his intent. The steps to success that he puts forth are pretty simple, but they work. He emphasizes attitude, relationships, a desire to serve, and consistent effort.

If I needed to describe this book in one word, it would be "simple." That's what the author, Jordan Adler, had intended. I learned so much from this one-day read and yet it never once overwhelmed me. I love how he sticks with the basics of networking, making success achievable for anyone who can stick with it for at least 4 years and be consistent with the smallest and simplest of tasks. Now I KNOW we're going to do this and do it big. I'm convicted, inspired and excited!

A real concise book on how to be successful in network marketing or multi-level marketing (MLM).
I love how the author cuts straight to the chase and gives you what you are looking for in just a few short pages. The book is rich in content and gives you the reassurance that if you stay committed to your goals, then you will hit your goal.

Didn't know what all the hoopla was about. There are other books about network marketing which are so much more interesting.

Great book. Even if you're never going to be interested in network marketing this book holds powerful truths for ANY entrepreneur. Practical, interesting, and inspiring. I recommend it.

I first read this book 2 years ago and I’ve listened to the audiobook a half-dozen times since then. I count Jordan as a friend, but even if I didn’t know him from Adam I would say that this book gives an accurate description of network marketing.
If you’re against network marketing, read this book —you’ve either gotten bad information or didn’t use good information.

Reading this book made me so excited that I have picked the career of network marketing. This book has helped me to understand that the challenges are normal and working through them builds my skills and confidence and therefore my business. This book has reminded me that persistent, consistent effort along with education and self development will free me from the rat wheel of 8-12 hour work days. This book gives me hope and confidence.

First book on network marketing that really resonated with me. Great section about how to work your contact list. Interesting bio of multiple failures until ultimate success.
Also, I do know the author, and he's a kind, decent, down-to-earth guy. He bought me coffee once at Starbucks... I was grateful to get the opportunity to return the favor some years later.

Magical Thinking at it’s Finest
Following this book may bring you untold material wealth. I would call that settling. What does it profit a man if he gain the world and lose his soul. You can’t take it with you. There is nothing wrong with money, per se, but focusing on it will bring poverty to your soul.

Listened to this too and from Bulgaria, a good read he explains if you have the passion and drive it can be done don't let obstacles stop you from doing what you are passionate about enjoyable I will be reading more from him.

Good nuggets but also lots of fluff
I liked this book okay and took out some really good nuggets of wisdom. I felt it did have lots of extra, unnecessary fluff, but I just skimmed over most of that and finished with some good takeaways.

After hearing so much positive this book didn't live up to expectations. While his story is impressive and he shares some good reminders about how to be successful, it wasn't anything new. Maybe this would have been different if I hadn't read other books for this industry before. 2.5 stars

Wasn't really into it. The author describes a great lifestyle but never gets into how that lifestyle can be obtained.
