Welcome to The Wolves Den where anything can happen.
Declyn was the Alpha of his den. He knew he should be focused solely on the health and welfare of the wolves under him. What he didn’t know was why he couldn’t forget Safire. He waited every day for her to cross the barrier, once she did she would be his.
Safire worked her whole life to fit into her surroundings. Now she was being singled out as being something other than human. She knew better, but that didn’t stop the crazies from coming after her.
The only place she had to go was to Declyn. Neither knew the trouble following her, but Declyn didn’t care. It was rare to meet an Alpha mate, his Alpha mate, and he wasn’t about to give her up.
This book contains adult content it is not recommended for readers under the age of 18 years.
And the saga continues! Alpha of the aliens, Declyn, was drawn to Deja's BFF Safire when she first crossed the barrier...but she didn't return. Safire, or as her friends called her...Fire, was turning 30 and not happy about her place in life. She planned to be married with at least one child by now. She decided to go out on the town for her birthday after all, but she began to feel like she was being stalked and ran to Deja at the Wolves Den...but once there, it was Declyn who caught her eye! So much happening in this book it is mind boggling, but since I don't do spoilers, you will need to buy (or borrow on KU) a copy and read it...you DEFINITELY DON'T want to miss this one!
Declyn finally meets Safire and knows. Fire turns 30 and wonders if life has left her behind.
Who is the mysterious woman on the street? Will Sage be someone for the twins, or someone else. Who was the woman with Ron and the bad guy? So many questions, need more books to find out.
As a series goes on you have an expectation that the questions the pervious books leave you with will be answered in later books. That isn’t happening with this series and, at this point, I don’t care what the answers are. I can’t read anymore chapters that jump around with no lead-in so you know what the heck is going on. I’m done.
