Lady Darksome!
Thought I was gone, didn’t you? So did I. But apparently slipping into that good night wasn’t my plan.

I just wish I’d have left myself a note. Or a Facebook message. Hell, even a Snapchat…chat. That way I could have prepared everyone, including me, for what was to come.

And I could have saved my love from so much heartbreak.

Excellent story for the series but it wish there was more. After Sam has died and her baby is born lots of things are happening. Crwys has gone away after burying Sam and is grieving. He has a lot to learn and you are going to meet the rest of his family.
All hell is about to break loose because the baby is hidden but people are looking for her and Thorne is looking for Sam’a arcane. You have a mystery, lots of action, humor and romance. There are plenty of twists and lots of s crest will come out. I just wish there was more to the series and not this end! I highly recommend this book and the series!

Sam was dead and Crwys has disappeared without a trace. Those left behind have a huge hole in their heart, that is partially filled by raising the couples baby girl, Elizabeth. As everyone keeps Lizzie’s birth and life a secret from those who might not understand or wish her harm, something strange is happening with the witches. Cosgrove is poking around at odd times asking about the possibility of a baby. Everyone knows Thorn is behind the rumors but can’t figure out he could possibly know the things he does. When Lizzie suddenly goes missing it’s all hands-on deck to find Crwys and Lizzie.

It took me a long time to work up the courage to read the final book in this series. I was so heartbroken after book eight I wasn’t sure I’d be able to read where the story ended. Much to my delight it was worth the read! So, if you’re like me and have putting it off, STOP, go read it right now! I hope that Weldon will decide to write some books about other characters that showed up in this final book as well as some favorites. Each have stories left untold that would open a new realm of possibilities. Next up for Weldon is a new series called The Prophecy’s Edge which is a fantasy book about Elves.

Somehow I had managed to forget I had read this book, and I love this series! I hate endings, and I'm not entirely sure this is one as authors are known to put out books after what feels like an ending, so I will of course go see if there's a next in the series.

This book brought together all the happenings after Sam dies. Crwys looses it, and doesn't know the baby lived. In the meantime, the rest of the gang end up dealing with Thorn, who has begun to make his play for the killing of all the people who stand in his way.

The excitement keeps the story going, and it definitely falls into the HAE books. I don't usually like those, but I'm glad this one leaves us happy.

Phaedra Weldon, I have loved your Elemental series from book one, and this one was no exception. Very well done!

Obviously always a bonus when the heroine makes a comeback, but cannot say I was impressed with the book. Very short as although the book is supposed to be 236 pages it was actually only 174 pages at least the kindle version from amazon. The story was very rushed, plot was pretty uninspired, not much of a story. I really enjoyed this series when it started out but it lost a lot of momentum in the last couple of books.

This book, the last of the series, had a satisfying ending. Everything was pulled together and set the characters up for a new future, which can be imagined in the reader's own mind. Overall, I liked this series. I had a lapse where I stopped reading it, and I would remember the bits and pieces that I loved. I couldn't remember which series it was, but when I found it again, I was glad I did. Enjoyed!

Kinda anti climatic

Oh..it was good but not as compelling as the other books...as if it were written to fast.! The ending was cute but not detailed at all..it was too short and sweet.

This book wraps all things up nice and perfectly, but it was kind of hurried (much like the previous instalment). I would have liked the story to have some more interactment between Sam and pretty much everyone else

4 1/2

Nice conclusion to the Eldritch Files series. Again, we get introduced to some new characters, and we get to see the start of some new relationships and the progression of some ongoing relationships. And, of course, the bad guys get their comeuppance.

3.5 stars - a better ending to the series, but short and a bit thin, just glimpses of all the favorite characters - this could have easily been a longer book.

Way short, and feels like it was written in a hurry, rather predictable.

Wow!

This book started weird but then I could not put it down. New people working with the cast. I loved reading and it was over too soon!!!

Conclusion?

Without spoilers, I will simply say that perhaps we will see a generational next chapter in this story. So mote it be!
