Let me introduce myself. I am a feisty redhead. Yes... I base a lot of Lucy's personality on myself. I have been married for over fifteen years, I'm a mother to an amazing teenage son, and dog mom to my sweet Bella!
I was a professional cook for over ten years and cake baker. Cooking and baking have been a passion of mine since I was very young. There is nothing like being in the middle of a busy kitchen, or having yourself covered in cake batter!
I have always loved reading and becoming immersed in stories. I really enjoy mysteries and true crimes! Writing has also been something I have always loved to do. When I was a young girl, I had stacks of personal journals.
In 2015 I chose to pursue my dream of writing! I am no longer in the workforce, after having been diagnosed with Lupus. For those who aren't aware, Lupus is an autoimmune disease often referred to as the mystery disease.
I now spend my days helping my son with school and writing. I had a love of cozy mysteries and knew that was the direction I wanted to pursue.

OMG what can I say about this book? This book literally reads like a conversation that you're having with one of your best girlfriends. I mean this book will have you laughing and wanting more. All while your stomach is growling and you just want a cup of coffee and a delicious muffin. Once again Lucy and Monica found themselves in the middle of a murder, but this time they are solving it with the help of a private investigator named James. Now the description of James will have you sweating, if that is your type, but he sure did catch the eye of all the local women. I think what really disappointed me about this book is that I have to wait for a new book to come out. I want more now!!!! Not only is this book a great read, but you can find some of the recipes you read about at the end of the book. And that is what I like about certain cozy mysteries. I honestly could see myself eating at the muffin oven every morning. L. Harrington has done it again and I cannot wait to read book three in this series.

Very good book.
This is well written and the characters are solid. I enjoyed the attitudes of Lucy and Monica as they go about their business and make the best muffins. When they literally stumble on a body, craziness ensues. Fun to read and the muffin recipe at the end is to die for!!😉😉

Lucy and Monica are at it again solving a murder. What I love most about this book is the relationship between these two best friends. I like how they relax and unwind by having a glass of wine, baking, eating chocolate, and laughing! This is a cute food truck mystery series. The novellas are quick reads. Cozy mystery lovers should check this series out!

Only book number two and I can't wait till the next one if you love a great cozy with characters you will love and a story that keeps you turning the page then this series by L Harrington is a must read

More food truck craziness
These two women just don't know how to stay out of trouble. Their unexpected hero is my favorite character of this book series. Lol Who is it? You'll have to read it to find out!

Will all become clear before the move?
Good read. A body, missing money and a delicious PI. Can she sort out the latest mystery before the move? Good characters and a good plot. However I did not find it funny at all. Good cozy.
