"Look at the words of Jesus to the seventy who returned: 'Behold, I give you the authority...over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you' (Luke 10:19). How many Christians believe that? No flu bug, no virus-nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Derek Prince, Spiritual Warfare for The End Times, Page 48)
The author says that we can either be overcome with evil or we can overcome it. I personally will choose the latter. So, how do we overcome evil? The author shows us that through Jesus' work on the cross we have already defeated the devil. However, the enemy endeavors to obscure his defeat and to keep God's people from this revelation. He says, "Satan cannot change what has been accomplished by the cross. It is eternal, settled for all time by God. The enemy's only option, then, is to obscure the work of the cross-to keep God's people from realizing what has been accomplished for us at Calvary. Satan does everything he can to keep us from knowing, understanding and applying the victory Jesus has won." Not any more! This book will open up to you the victory that took place on the cross, and the weapons that Jesus gave us to defeat the enemy. The three main weapons that are taught on in this book are the Word of God, The Blood and the Holy Spirit; and all three work together!
The enemy is defeated through the cross, the Word, and the shed blood of Jesus. At this time, the Holy Spirit is hovering on the earth lifting up a standard against the enemy, so he cannot fulfill his plans. He teaches that there is coming a time when the believers will be taken up into heaven and the Holy Spirit will withdrawal his presence, and how there will be then great sorrow and tribulation like never seen in all the earth!

This was published 14 years after Prince's death and apparently is actually taken from his audio teaching rather than truly being a book written by Prince (shame there couldn't have been proper more honest accreditation made somewhere!). Also the book should really have been more accurately titled something like "Spiritual Warfare to defeat the enemy in this present world" to give a better indication of what the teaching really is.
There are some very cutting edge, deep insights into spiritual reality that are inspirational and encouraging; which furthermore should be applied more directly into every Christian's life. Prince introduces theosis thinking, he covers the importance of Christians for purifying and saving this current world and he deals with the practical spiritual power of the blood of Jesus. All this is deep and powerful. However there is also a hint of hackneyed dispensationalism, some end times mythology and some questionable ideas about Naphtali, peeking through; so it seems a little uneven. Nevertheless this is a powerful and affirming book which deserves a slow and thorough read.

I’ve read a few books by Derek Prince in the past and found them to be very sound teachings that helped me understand what the Bible says, so I was happy to have the opportunity to read a copy of this book. One of the things that impressed me in the beginning was that Derek talked about how he suffered from depression. He had prayed about it, and it remained. He said the battle was mostly won while he was reading the Bible and realized that the evil wasn’t a something—it’s a someone. When he called on the Lord to be delivered from the spirit of heaviness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, he was delivered. In the book, Derek tackles the subject of evil, by talking about satan and evil spirits. He does not see evil as a thing, and he thinks that might be a mistake for any of us to see evil as anything but a someone.
Derek goes on to explain that through his death and resurrection, Jesus has defeated satan and his followers. As Christians, who have surrendered our lives to the Lord, we have divine authority to overcome evil. Derek focuses on the blood of Jesus at the end of the book and what it means to believers. I certainly felt encouraged after reading this, and I feel that this is definitely the time for works such as this to prepare us for the problems we are facing here and now.
Forewarned is Forearmed. I highly recommend this book.

Spiritual Warfare for the End Times book not all that fantastic - I feel it sometimes talks down to you, sometimes it is boring like the very beginning going on a rant about Jane Austin and one of her characters in one of her books, a pastor - she talks down about him, then he talks over some peoples head - for example - in the book he says (The term Spirituality derives, as do spirit and spiritual, from the old French word espirit which comes from the Latin word spiritus, meaning variously "soul",""courage," "vigor," and "breath") It is something good for those ready for a deep study - or not - it just wasn't my cup of tea - it could be yours though......I received a complimentary copy of this book from the Publisher and NetGalley; all the opinions in this review are all my own.

How the world is going on right now Satan is busy with all this corruption, shootings, genocide, civil wars, false prophets, increased persecution. The enemy is on the move.
See all this around the world can be depressing, this is a great book it is something that can be read with your bible daily to remind you that god is control and he has equip us with tools to be able to walk in authority in Jesus Christ. I received this book for free for my honest opinion.

Must read!

This is an amazing book! Not only is it well written but it is a simple truth to something many folks try not to thinkk about. It opens up the bible in a simple and understandable way for even the youngest of Christians.

This is an excellent study on the coming end times and how the Christ follower can prepare for it. Rev. Prince covers the tools and techniques of the devil and what we as Christians can do to be victorious.

If anyone means business with God, not playing church, read this book it's really an eye opener and gave me lots of advice on how satan works and how to overcome him. Derek Prince was a deep Christian and a real Child of God. Enjoy it, I did
