Good story that is a combination of second chances and friends to lovers. Sofia is a widowed mother of twin toddlers. After the death of her husband, she needed help and moved in with her parents, because she was having trouble making ends meet. She really needs a job with good pay and regular hours, when she sees an ad for an office manager for Eric's company. She takes a chance on applying, even though she isn't totally qualified.
Eric has made an incredible success of his company. He is known as one of the most eligible bachelors in Chicago. Ever since the end of his engagement, he has felt like there is a hole in his life. His friends are all settling down, but he is still alone. It is hard for him to know if a woman is interested in his money and position, or in the man that he truly is. He is stunned when he recognizes the job applicant as his childhood friend.
I loved the development of their relationship. Just seeing Sofia again reminded Eric of what good friends they had been when they were kids. He feels very protective of her and offers her the job right away, even though he has no idea if she can do it. I loved that scene as they point out each other's negotiating failures. But now that she works for him, Eric tells himself that she is off limits, even though he's very attracted to her and wants to get closer. It was really sweet to see the way that he tries to take care of her. Sofia is just as attracted to him. She doesn't see the ruthless businessman or the playboy billionaire. She sees the kind and handsome guy who was her friend when she was a kid. However, she also knows that mixing business and pleasure is a bad idea, especially since she really needs that job. Plus, she still sees herself as the housekeeper's daughter and therefore not good enough for the billionaire bachelor. I loved their business trip where she got a taste of his life. The passion flared between them, but a crisis back home left Sofia drowning in guilt over what happened, so she pushes him away. I ached for Eric because all he wanted was to care for Sofia and the kids. I loved the ending as Eric exposed his vulnerability along with his heart. I also loved seeing Sofia finally accept that Eric loved her for who she was. The epilogue was a sweet picture of the new family.
I really liked Eric. He has a reputation as ruthless in business, but underneath he is a good and honorable man. He doesn't fool around with his employees, though he does flirt lightly with some of them. Those same employees truly respect him, and I loved seeing the relationships he had with them. He was burned by love once, but it hasn't put him off the idea of finding the right woman. He also really wants to be a father and I ached for him over the disappointments in his past.
I didn't buy into the conflict, and I thought Sofia threw up too many unnecessary roadblocks. And Eric - he accepted having a full-blown family way too easily. Full review to follow

I’ll be honest. The only reason I picked up Twins for the Billionaire is because I like the author’s writing style. That said, I don’t enjoy the billionaire books as much I like reading about cowboys and ranchers, or heck, even the nice, middle-class guy who lives next door. Or the emotionally wrecked rich guy from Tempted by the Cowboy. Eric was so agreeable, so vanilla, that I didn’t find him interesting, or the romance very compelling. When the hero’s mind set is that all problems can be solved by throwing money at them, well, I just don’t find that very engaging.
Sofia is a widowed mother of twins. She desperately needs a job. After moving in with her parents to help with child care duties, she is longing for a sense of independence. She applies for a job at Eric Jenner’s real estate office, even though she lacks the necessary experience. Eric is her childhood friend. Her mother was his family’s maid, and his father gave her father his start in real estate.
When Eric sees a grown up Sofia, he’s intrigued. Having been ditched at the alter, he’s been suffering from a bit of a mid-life crisis. Now that his friends have started families, he’s feeling a bit left out, but he didn’t realize how badly he wanted kids and a wife until a false pregnancy scare with his bride to be. Once he learns that Sofia needs his help, he hires her at an exorbitant salary. When he meets her babies, he knows that this is the family he’s been longing for.
There wasn’t much chemistry between the protagonists, and the extent of the conflict was Sofia suffering from guilt for not being around when the twins suffer from an illness. I wish her anxiety attacks had been used more effectively. I guess that’s my biggest disappointment with Twins for the Billionaire. All of Sofia’s problems magically go away after Eric waves his magic checkbook in the air. Don’t get me wrong. I understand the allure of this fantasy, to have someone fall in love with you and actually take care of you, but it didn’t really work for me here. It all happens so fast that if left me disappointed in the lack of development in the romance. The book is a pleasant read, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t imagine that it will stick with me for very long.
I love office romances, babies, and stories about billionaires. So naturally, TWINS FOR THE BILLIONAIRE became a must read for me. It is a wonderful book, replete with great characters, a plot that twists and turns in all the right places, and an ending that left me smiling from ear to ear.
A little over a year ago, pregnant real estate broker Sofia Bingham lost her husband and became the mother of twins. Due to her financial situation, she sold her home and moved her new family in with her parents. Sofia needs a job and she needs it now. Her childhood friend, billionaire Eric Jenner, is looking for an office manager for his real estate conglomerate. Sophia is hopeful that Eric will remember her and give her the chance to prove herself at his company, even though her qualifications for the position are less than stellar. Eric is pleasantly shocked to see Sophia and gives her the job with very little hesitation.
Eric is an excellent businessman and all around good guy. Seeing Sophia again after so much time has passed ignites an unexplained warmth in him. They were good friends years ago, and he really wants to build on that friendship. However, he does not get romantically involved with his employees. Sophia finds Eric to be as kind and good-looking as ever. She is attracted to him but knows that mixing business with pleasure is a bad idea. Furthermore, she believes she is not good enough for him. Over time, they give in to their desires and become more than friends. Sophia brings a ready-made family to their relationship, which Eric desperately wants to be a part of.
This fairy tale romance is nicely written. In addition, Eric’s amazing kindness and desire to be a father tugged at my heartstrings. Billionaires, toddlers, and love are a winning combination in Sarah M. Anderson’s TWINS FOR THE BILLIONAIRE.
Eric Jenner is a billionaire who has it all, except the most important thing of all, a wife and family. He's seen his friends settle down and start families, but when you're one of the most eligible bachelors in the country, it's hard to find someone who appreciates you for who you really are, not some billionaire image. When Sofia Bingham comes back into his life, he impulsively hires her, if for no other reason than to help out an old friend. But they immediately feel a connection, and Eric can't help hoping they can be more than friends.
Sofia is barely holding herself and her family together, as she tries to raise her toddler twins after the death of her husband. She has help from her parents, but she desperately needs a job to support herself and to begin the business of living again. Sofia doesn't know if she's qualified to be an office manager for one of the country's top land developers, but she's determined to try, and she hopes Eric Jenner will give her a chance. While she was happily married and is now completely devoted to her children, she can't help but remember the one kiss she and Eric shared. She's not quite prepared for her growing feelings for Eric and can't even let herself think of living in his world.
There was plenty of sizzling romance in this story, with the anticipation only adding to the satisfaction when Eric and Sofia finally let go of their worries and had a little fun. However, it also felt like real life as Sofia dealt with her depression and anxiety and Eric expressed his longing for children. There were parts of the story that felt a little like Sabrina or Pretty Woman, but the story definitely had its own twists and turns on the way to Eric and Sofia's happily ever after.
I adored this story. The past mingles with the present in this love-story and soon the feelings are running high between them, not in the least because of Sofia’s twin babies. I loved the way desire and conscience played such a big part in Sofia’s life. The babies have no trouble working their way to Eric’s heart and mom Sofia finds it extremely hard to resist her feelings for her gorgeous boss and former childhood buddy. Sofia is a widowed mom with twins and she needs a job, like right now! Her babies won’t feed themselves. She gathers up all her courage and asks her former childhood friend for a job and she is hired. Working for the real estate tycoon is the perfect solution, but her childhood buddy is all grown up now and he’s hot and tempting as hell. She gives in to one night of unforgettable passion and then they can go back to business, right? Eric, however, loves chasing Sofia and he already loves her twins. The twins have pulled him in big time, perhaps due to a very unfortunate event happening to him. Eric doesn’t agree that they should put their hot romance on ice, because his desire for Sofia is almost all consuming. What does he have to do to convince her that his feelings are real and that he is playing for keeps?
“Twins for the Billionaire” by Sarah M. Anderson is enticing and charming.
Eric Jenner is swoon-worthy and endearing. He’s hero perfection. He wants a family and when his childhood friend comes back into his life, he wants a family with her. Sofia Bingham is the epitome of a single mother struggling to care for her twins (who are adorable!) while putting her needs last. After being widowed, she needs a reliable job and Eric is hiring. Eric and Sofia become friends again, then friends-with-benefits, but all the while Sofia feels like a fish out of water in Eric’s billionaire world even when he tells her they belong together.
Eric and Sofia are realistically written (even with Eric being so wealthy) and you can’t help but pull for them to be happy together. Once they do find their HEA, you’re smiling and laughing along with them. The dialogue in this story is spot-on and matches Eric and Sofia’s personality to a tee. There are funny moments, serious moments, and oh-yeah sexy moments.
In “Twins for the Billionaire”, Ms. Anderson has penned a heart-squeezing and blushingly hot story that will surely make you want to read (and buy) more of her books.
Twins for the Billionaire by Sarah M. Anderson is part of the Billionaire's and Baby series. Sofia and Eric have known each other since child hood except somehow life got in the way of things and they lost contact for years.
Sofia is a single mother whom is also widowed. She has to find a new job to raise her twins. She knows this job is a means to finding a home of their own and getting back on her feet.
Eric is a Billionaire he has built his family business into more than it could have ever been. When a childhood friend comes to him looking for a job he gives it to her without a second thought. His only problem is he isn't sure if he wants her as an employee or in his bed.
The relationship between Sofia and Eric is taboo in multiple ways. They are boss and employee, best friends from childhood, and she is a single mother who has to put her children first. I loved the chemistry between the two. I think I loved how easy it was for them to just fall into place within each other's lives.
Sweet, sexy and oh so good! Childhood friends to colleagues ... and more! The characters are really easy to connect with and the story is fast paced. With the added addition of adorable twin toddlers and a sexual chemistry off-the-charts, I was in for quite a treat!
Single mom Sofia Bingham needs a job ... fast! She's been sliding by for too long now and she needs to step it up and provide a stable life for her babies. When she sees a job listed working for Eric she decides she's going to apply ... and hopefully the fact that they were childhood friends will get her a foot in the door!
Real estate tycoon Eric Jenner is thrilled when he sees Sofia again. They had a great relationship growing up and he's anxious to catch up. When he learns of her circumstances, he is quick to give her the job she needs ... but they find attraction a strong force to be reckoned with as they try to coexist in the office. When a business trip brings an opportunity for a fling, they figure what could it hurt right? She's ready to pretend it didn't happen ... and he's ready to make them a family!

This was a really sweet and wonderful story!
really enjoyed the book, loved the storyline. Loved Eric and sofia old friends meeting after so long and finding out that they still had feeling for each other. Not going to write too much don't want to spoil the story for you.
Not a long book, but it's nice sometimes to be able to just sit down for a couple of hours and read a book ( my quiet time).
Anybody looking for a romance, great story line, great characters, have a read you will not be disappointed
Sofia a woman who's husband has died and is raising her Twins struggles with the idea that she can love a man again. Eric a man who was left at the altar meets Sofia when comes in for a interview he remembers Sofia from their childhood where they were good friends. Eric hire's her when he of her past and struggles when he falls in love with her and her twins and the thought of having a relationship with his employee.
I loved that the heroine along with the hero got a second chance at the happily ever after. I always love a best friends romance storylines. I enjoyed the ride from the moment Eric & Sofia met again for the first time since they were kids while reflecting on their shared past to help them both get their lives back on track to their happily ever after.
I love the couple but found something missiing. Back story, how they got married what did she have. By most importantly, Sofia got on my nerves with her back and forth about being in his world. Her self esteem was very low. She had a low opinion of her self, family and him. I didn't feel this on emotionally. Sorry.
This book was amazing. I really loved it !!! Harlequin always has such great stories and great authors. Sarah Anderson does a stand up job with this book. I recommend it to all romance readers out there who love a great book.
"¿Sabes por qué éramos amigos? Porque tú me tratabas como a cualquier otro niño. Y yo hacía lo mismo. Nunca fuiste la hija del ama de llaves, cariño. Eras Sofía y espero que yo no fuese un niño rico para ti. Yo... Yo solo era Eric para ti, ¿no?"
Eric is so loveable and Sofia needs that even if she's not willing to admit. Emotionally engaging and steamy. Love that this is quick and to the point at the same time I think it's unfortunate that about 30% of this is excerpts after their HEA ending.
A Billionaire wants a family at first to just one up a friend/enemy till an old friend reenters his life and he falls for her and her adorable twins... Then he wants so so much more...
A very sweet story of two people who knew each other when they were kids and meet later in life again. A very nice romance story. Characters were fantastic and storyline was amazing.
Boy meets girl, go their separate ways, they grow up see each other again and that is where the story starts. This author has made it new and fun. Thank you.
The titular rich boy is Eric Jenner. He’s handsome, tall and commander of his ship, figuratively speaking. He’s used to getting what he wants. With his money, he can wave a magic wand and get couture clothes, a yacht ready for a weekend of fun and the best doctors. And he’s single, ladies!
We’ve seen his type before in recent romance novels. Billionaire playboys are a dime a dozen in these worlds and they always pair up with poor girls. It’s the Cinderella fantasy come true.
But Eric has met up with Sofia Bingham—née Cortés—again after years of separation. She was married, widowed and had twin children, none of which he knew about. So that throws him into a royal snit, in which he takes swipes at his mother for not letting him know his childhood friend got a life without him. Okay, that’s a bit unfair and renders him a bit of a jerk.
But Eric recently suffered loss of his own. His fiancée Prudence left him standing at the altar and two weeks later married a man she loved—which wasn’t Eric. Then she had that man’s child. Ouch.
Poor Eric. It seems that money can’t buy everything. So when Sofia comes swanning back into his life looking for a job, there are a lot of unresolved feelings between them. They try to remain friends (oh, yeah, that’s going to happen). Then friends with benefits when the heat simmering between them starts sparking (here we go). Then she knows that she’s fallen in love with him after one hot weekend. (Wow, didn’t see that coming.)
She’s working for this man and he has a strict policy against sleeping with employees, a policy with which I fully agree. But neither of them can hold on to their good intentions when they want each other so badly. But Eric’s behavior is questionable from the start. He takes her on his yacht and buys her expensive clothes, including underwear (!). She points out that this is not the way he’d behave with another employee. He counters by stating proper attire is a necessary part of her job; he’s just helping her out by getting her a decent wardrobe. And that includes thongs? Really?
Eric is fully invested in Sofia’s twins, darling children with whom he immediately bonds. He loves talking with them, holding them, playing with them and tending to them. You feel how much he loves these little tots, even if they aren’t his. That shines through and makes him a a much better character than the self-involved playboy he first appears to be.
The central romance is believable, given their previous connection and re-instating of their old childhood friendship. Eric’s connection with her babies and her parents comes off as genuine. But the old, tired plot line of having the employer shtupping the help is one I can’t condone. It’s unprofessional and smacks of exploitation. Lawsuits have been instigated for less.
Good novel that might have been better. But to each her own.
Loved It!!! This book is oh, so sweet, sexy, and romantic. This is a prefect friend to lovers story. They twins are such a delight and adorable. I couldn't put the book down as I was so engrossed in the story. When Eric and Sophia see each other for the first time in a long time the sparks fly and chemistry off the charts. I highly recommend reading this book.
