His time in Oregon didn’t end the way he’d hoped, and now Chance is back at the ranch.

He put himself out there, made an attempt at opening up his heart to happiness, but it didn’t work out. Maybe he’s just not supposed to be happy? That’s what he’s starting to believe—until his Remington brothers convince him he shouldn’t give up Hope just yet.

Finding Hope is the second book in the A Chance and a Hope trilogy. Look out for the third and final book Give Hope a Chance.

Hi, I'm SJ. A coffee addict, lover of chocolate and drinker of good red wines. I'm a lost soul and a hopeless romantic. Reading and writing are necessary parts of who I am. Though perhaps not as necessary as coffee! I can drink coffee without writing, but I can't write without coffee.

I grew up loving romance novels, my first boyfriends were book boyfriends, but life intervened, as it tends to do, and I wandered down the paths of non fiction for many years. My life changed completely a couple of years ago and I returned to Romance to find my escape.

I write 'Sweet N Steamy' stories because to me there is enough angst and darkness in real life. My favorite romances are happy escapes with a focus on fun, friendships and happily-ever-afters, just like the ones I write.

These days I live in beautiful Montana, the last best place. If I'm not reading or writing you'll find me just down the road in the park - Yellowstone. I have deer, eagles and the occasional bear for company, and I like it that way :0)

This is the second book in the trilogy.
We have meet Chance on many occasions but we only met Hope in the 1st of this trilogy.
It all stared with a whirl wind romance, but then Chance decided it was best to end it for the sake of Hope's fragile relationship with her dad.
But neither were happy and couldn't leave it like that, this is where the story continues.
This book is about them coming back together and trying to figure out if and where they go on from her.
We keep catching up with different characters from both series (if your a fan of SJ McCoy then you will of read them all, if not you really need to).
This is a lovely book and it's got some steamy scenes to keep you hot and bothered!
So far things are moving alone nicely. I have no idea we're the third book is going to take them, but I'm sure where there's hope there's a chance!
Great follow on from the first book and hoping for more of the same with the final instalment.
Yet again you've kept me entertain SJ McCoy, can't wait for July!!

In the second book of "A Chance and a Hope" series, SJ McCoy takes up where she left off, with two love lost people who miss their time in Oregon and one man who thinks he knows best for both of them. Luckily, the Remington boys have all learned their own lessons in their love relationships and help Chance to understand how pigheaded he is being and that love can conquer all.

Although, I love the relationship between Hope and Chance, the relationship between her dad Seymour and Chance and the relationship between Hope and her dad, I think my favorite is that between Chance and the men he has come to love as his brothers.

As I mentioned, this is the second book in the series and if you haven't read the first one, STOP, and read it first. You need to fall in love with Chance and Hope from the beginning.

I can't wait until book 3.

I received an free ARC of this book for an honest review.

Chance's story is so full of emotion. He has walked away from Hope. He had real feelings for her but after seeing the texts from her father he had to go. He couldn't be the one to ruin the relationship she had with her father. But he was miserable.....he missed her so much.....his brothers were worried about him. Each one of them came by to see him with their words of wisdom to help him along. But his feelings for Chloe keep getting in the way. He figures he is just meant to be alone for the rest of his life.

I love his story. The author has done such a good job with Chance...you feel everything right along with him and then you cry for him. If you read Chance Encounter you have to continue and read Finding Hope. You must read this book to cheer Chance along and hope he can find it in his heart to find and love Hope.

I had the pleasure to read the ARC of this book Finding Hope: A chance and a hope volume 2......SJ you did it again still swooning over my favorite brooding cowboy. In volume two Chance and Hope finally reconnect and start planning future even though Chance isn't really certain there is one. Also happy that Hope is reconnecting with her father. It seems all us well in Paradise Valley with the Remington Family too. I hate cliffhangers and now I have to wait a month for the final version. Another great job S J.

I was so sad that Chance could walk away from Hope so easily in the previous cliffhanger. However it was not as easy as it appeared. Now Cahnce is doubting his decisions and his adopted brothers don't help.

Hope is confused about the circumstances that lead Chance to leave her. She decides to find Chance to address the issue. At the same time he decides to contact her.

SJ McCoy is a wonderful story teller and I am in love with Chance and Hope. I am glad that they have a happy for now and can not wait for the conclusion of this story

2nd in the trilogy of the Chance & Hope story, it can't be read as a standalone book as it starts exactly where the 1st book ends. Chance has been a favourite character since he appeared in the summer lake series, he intrigued me and I couldn't wait to read his story and SJ McCoy has not disappointed at all, only problem was having to wait a month between books. Fantastic story teller and have been telling everyone about her great books, keep up the fab work and I can't wait to hear the conclusion of this story, and please tell me you have a new series of book in mind

Brilliant

I have loved Chance since we first met him in book3 of the Remington Ranch series.
Learning more about him in these book have been absolutely brilliant.
Seeing him overcome some of his fears has been fantastic.
Also learning more about Hope, that fact that she is prepared to give and take so she can have her live with chance is great.
Well worth the five stars I have given it.
I highly recommend this book and all the other SJ McCoy has written.
Can't wait to start book 3

Chance takes a chance

I am so enjoying Chance's story. after meeting Hope he finally knows she is his Hope, and he's hoping they might make a life together. The only problem on his side, is Hopes wealth. But after talking to Dave he knows it's just his pride that was getting in the way of a happy future.
This is the second book of Chance and Hope's story, and I have already downloaded book three the final of this series.
All SJ McCoy's books are a great read, and I hope you will enjoy them to.

At the end of Chance Encounters, Chance had decided that Hope was better off with keeping her relationship with her dad than with starting a relationship with him. So he left. After a small amount of time apart Hope decided that she wasn't going to allow Chance to make her decisions for her and she goes to Montana to claim her man. Their road is filled with twists and turns, but they're finally on their way. Love has shown them there's a Hope for Chance and a Chance for Hope.

Good book! Chance and Hope are both hurting and wanting to talk to the other but don't know how the other will react. Once they get past that and talk they decide that they want to be together. The question is can they withstand the obstacles that are in their way?? I will warn you that there are 3 books for Chance...and the last one will not come out until July. But don't let that stop you...go get the first 2 so you can wait impatiently with me lol! Enjoy!

SJ has done it again!!!

****I received an ARC copy for an honest review****
I am soooo happy with the direction SJ has taken with the second book! I admit when I read the cliffhanger from the first book I was a little scared to see what the second book would be like because it was already indicated that this is a 3 book series but once again, SJ did not disappoint! I'm looking forward to the next book. Happy Release Day SJ!

Finding Hope, the continuation of Chances story was extremely enjoyable to read. As it was sweet, heartwarming and had me completely hooked from start to finish. Plus as someone who is yet to read the Remington Ranch Series. It was great to be introduced to all of those characters. And it has certainly made me more determined to read that series next. But as for Finding Hope, I really loved it and can't wait to for the final installment. I would also happily recommend it to others.

This book is good but this trilogy is loooong

I definitely like Chances story but man is this story slow going. I have had to put this trilogy down for days and go back to it. It's pace is way to slow but I feel like it would be a waste not to finish it. I usually read a good book in at most 2 days, I've read books 1 and 2, it's taken me almost 3 weeks. No excited for the next book but I'm determined to finish!

Didn't enjoy this book as much. I found it a little boring and thought it got bogged down in to much detail. Chance is trying to deal with his new feelings for Hope while she just has to hang around and hope that he will give their blossoming romance a chance. (See my play on words?) Hope rekindles her relationship with her Dad. Meanwhile Chance is dealing with his grief over not having his life with Chloe while feeling guilty for wanting one with Hope.

I love this couple. SJ McCoy has a knack for making her characters so relatable. I find myself reading with a huge smile on my face, brows knit in consternation, tears in my eyes and sighing. You run the gamut of emotions! I find myself invested in these characters and even the supporting cast, particularly Hope's father. I am so looking forward to the third and final book in this series.

SJ McCoy has woven such a beautiful and real relationship between Chance and Hope I find myself engrossed and lost in their world. I was tormented by the cliffhanger of book 1, but the transition to book 2 was natural and highly anticipated. Chance and Hope are well on their way to their happily ever after but not yet...

Love the linking of summerlake series into remmington then chance

The link of all the characters of all three series is amazing and really gripping, leaving you just wanting more to read. Can't wait for book 3 if chance but at the same time I'll be sad as that's all read. Please don't stop writing.

A Must Read

I started reading this series with the Summer Lake box set books 1-3)..... After I finished I kept readingthrough the series... Each story is its own standalone HEA, but then they ALL blend together and go SO well together. I've read through them all-(not just this series!), you will do the same!! I CANNOT wait for SJ's next book!!!

I’m loving Hope and Chance’s story and I can’t wait to read the final book about them. Chance has come a long way, since Chloe’s death. I love how Seymour and Hope are becoming closer. I hope he really does have her best interests at heart. It’s really nice to catch up with the Remington brothers and their families too. Dave and Monique are some truly amazing people.

Wow. This series is amazing. I love that the Remingtons are included. You have to read those books to understand them. So glad they are figuring things out. They both have a way to go. But they both deserve happiness. Love this author.

Great sequel

I'm enjoying the continuing story of Chance and Hope, they're sweet together. I did get a little confused when Hope's aunt's name changed from Jean to June halfway through, though...!

You can skip this series

The dialogue is terrible and it doesn’t flow. It’s so unrealistic and reads really choppy. I gave it two stars because I actually finished it, more because I don’t like to leave a book unfinished but it was not very enjoyable.
