Got an advance copy and loved it! Definitely a unique exercise program ;) I had a friend in college who this happened to (coregasms) and my friends and I would jokingly tease her about why she liked to work out so much. She tried to tell us how it happened but she didn't really know. Interesting to see someone who has researched this and can tell you why it happens and how to exercise just enough to get the mind-body arousal benefit if you want to while also working your core. Let's just say it's changed the way I work out!
I didn't actually read this entire book, but I flipped through and read here and there. The gold for me was the actual core exercise routine, which I have on an index card and have been doing a few times a week. It's working! That's a big deal - my first non-yoga steady exercise routine. Strengthening my core has made sitting still for meditation easier, and I hope it will continue to get easier as I carry on.
Coregasm Workout by Dr. Debby Herbenick provides interesting connection between exercising ones core muscles to have orgasms is reasonable expectation since exercise can seriously improve ones sexual pleasure. The title is an attention grabber. I found the techniques and suggestions doable. Of course, with exercise there must be consistencies for the desired outcome. Good information for the serious minded, health conscious individual.

I didn't finish this book but really enjoyed being introduced to the concept of coregasms. Our bodies are so wonderful, we hold ourselves back from a lot of it's potential to process our joys and our sufferings.
Interesting study on coregasms.... I have never experienced one but still it makes sense. Interesting enough is the idea that people can actually experience orgasm during exercise. I thought the chin lifts and rope climbing to be some of the ways men experience it, and abdomen exercises for women.
Meh. I wasn't quite expecting mind-blowing information, but this book was pretty underwhelming. And pretty much every single exercise is standard for a barre class. I'm gonna return it and see if there's anything else out there to shake up my exercise routine.
