Note: This compilation of erotic novella and book was originally published with Samhain Publishing through my pen name, Dani Worth. Only the cover has changed. The content is the same.

AFTER THE CRUX (Book One)

Seventeen years after the Crux Virus wiped out most of the world’s population, Ross is doing what he can to keep his small community in what was once New Mexico safe. He’s made a habit of collecting survivors. They’re all family, especially Jenna and Dorian.

Now, at thirty, Ross hopes to find a love of his own on supply runs, but his heart has long been snagged by his two best friends.

Alone with his tangled emotions, Ross is about to discover that his friends have their own ideas about their relationship…and everything is about to change.

SOLE SURVIVORS (Book Two)

Chase Hawthorne is on the run from a ghost. The shooting that took his little sister and scarred him left far deeper scars on his brother Tripp’s soul. Driven to pull up stakes and head for the most haunted place in Louisiana, Chase hopes to prove to Tripp there is no ghost of their sister beckoning from the afterlife.

When they come upon upon a young woman fighting off raiders, the Hawthornes don’t hesitate to help the first female they’ve seen in years. Chase tries to ignore his instant attraction, hoping Tripp will feel something, too—and emerge from his frightening depression.

Keera has been alone too long, and scarred, difficult Chase makes her feel things she never thought she’d feel again. Tripp may be the needier brother, but it’s Chase she wants.

Letting people too close comes with risks. Both Keera and Chase must accept the possibility that there’s more to life—and love—than simple survival.

I had two erotic series with Samhain Publishing. I've since received my rights back with the closing of the publisher and will soon put these back out in boxed sets on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited. They will be under Rinda Elliott, writing as Dani Worth. All of my work is now under Rinda Elliott. I'm currently writing MM romantic suspense with author Jocelynn Drake in the series Unbreakable Bonds and the upcoming Ward Security. Kithran Regenesis and Crux Survivors never picked up a big audience, but if they start to find readers, I will finish both series because I love these worlds quite a bit. Follow me at

The Kithran Regenesis is erotic space opera, mostly menage. The story grew, so while the first two are novellas, the third is longer and the fourth even more so. ORIGIN is a full length erotic menage romance. Crux Survivors is erotic post-apocalyptic, some menage and some not. I love to explore the boundaries of new worlds, love, desire or anything else that strikes my fancy. Good stories make life fun. Some of my stories will have pairs and some will have three–Love is Love. :)

I’ve lived in some crazy places but currently reside in Oklahoma and I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

🎃 Halloween 2017 Reading Challenge 🎃 8/10: A post-apocalyptic romance.

Something in that stare reached in and wrapped itself around her heart.

I did not read the first story, “After the Crux”, because ménages aren’t my jam. But I’m a fan of Elliott’s writing, and I would consider it if I ever change my mind.

The second story, “Sole Survivors”, started out strong. There is both action and introspection. Keera and Chase were drawn to each other like magnets, but I bought it. In a post-apocalyptic world in which humanity has been ravaged, it isn’t difficult to imagine how our most fundamental drives and desires, including sex, would become more prominent. Since Keera and Chase were both relatively inexperienced, the heady rush of feelings made sense. I really enjoyed seeing two characters who had lost so much experience the joys of forceful lust then tentative love. Their caution was understandable, as was how it warred with their loneliness. They both acknowledge that most people left aren’t “good”, which rang true. But they are good, and I appreciated their ability to remain in touch with what makes us human – care and concern – while also staying strong and smart.

When Keera, Chase, and Chase's brother Tripp meet the ménage and their traveling companion, the book begins to lull. The meeting was necessary to advance the story, which involves a far-fetched rescue mission that I didn’t quite buy. However, the group dynamics and interactions weren't very compelling. I honestly would have preferred scenes of Keera teaching Chase how to farm the land or the two going on a hunting trip. Or Tripp and Cad watching movies. Lordy, those two were adorable.

I understand that Elliott may continue the series. If the third book follows the two (and only two) men that I’m hoping it will, I’m totally in!

Love, romance, and post apocalyptic survival

Set about 15 years after a disease called Crux wiped out most of humanity, various survivors find their way to meeting and falling in love. Ross, Dorian, and Jenna make a super steamy trio, while Chase and Keera find love together later. I really really want to read about Tripp, Cadmar, and Mackenzie together. I see lots of steam and fireworks for that trio.
