Luc Robicheaux is one of the elite members of REAPER Security. He's stood by over the last year and watched as one brother after another fell head over heels in love. He knew it wasn't for him, until Montana Divide showed up at a friend's wedding. Now he has to convince her that he's fallen in love with her AND save her from those that want to destroy her.
Montana Divide has always been the odd girl out. Flaming red hair, flaming temper, and an IQ that makes men squirm. Working in a man's world isn't easy, but when Montana develops something that everyone wants, she finds herself in more trouble than even her IQ can handle. Can she trust Luc Robicheaux to save her? Will she put her invention and her heart in his hands?
Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Wow I always knew that I despised the Russians for constantly stealing war secrets from the US, but some of them and others are just despicable in the manner of how and not give the first freaking care of who gets hurt in the process and they even steal young sick children as pawns to get our cooperation, but Montana being the brain behind this particular project actually won in the end, but I was so sad that Grip died in the crossfires and to find out that he hid his gay lover from his team really hurt them all. Luc and his team stopped these fools and it also brought Doug, Grips lover to go into another type of adventure with Montana and they honored Grip by naming this new division with his call name. Happy reading.
When your books include raping and killing children you should have a TRIGGER WARNING...the books aren't even that good anyway. I can't believe I made it this far...stories are cookie cutter basically same situation different characters constant switching of POVs during a paragraph/chapter so it can be difficult at times to keep up with who's actually talking. All these SPEC OPS men and every h is kidnapped, but the fact that the author only kills off gay men and almost all the books include raping children and killing them, it's a hard pass for me and I promise in the future everytime I see this series recommended I will tell the readers about the child abuse since you can't be bothered to do so Ms Kennedy.

I really did enjoy this book. Parts were a little sad but it has a good storyline and a happy ending. The characters are well thought out and well written. All of them seem believable and after reading several books from this series I feel like I am among friends. It's a good book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I am off to read the next book in the series.
This book had gotten me in tears when Grip had died and to find out he was gay also tore my heart up and felt so much for Doug. Great job Mary for all the books u have written in this series all was outstanding and touch my heart but this one with Grip really got to me... Onward to finish the rest of the series. GREAT JOB!!!!
When I started this series I thought what a great read but every book the story gets better and better. This one brought to light Grip's secret and his love for the REAPERS . His dying was heartbreaking. Montana yet another damsel in distress to find her love. It amazes me how Mary Kennedy makes each story different but always connected with the REAPER family
It was nice to see the spark take root between Montana and Luc, but man...did Montana's job end up being a shit show. I hated how it dragged her into some crazy things, but thank goodness she had REAPER at her back to help. Sadly that help came at a great cost, but what happened in the aftermath was good for all those involved and it looks like there is a bright future ahead.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I really enjoy most of the characters. This was a book of compassion, manipulation, and finding your love. Enjoyed Luc and Montana's story. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers
I have read both of the author's other series since finding Mary Kennedy's work six months ago. Now slowly working my way through Reaper Security. Enjoying every book on the journey. Thank you.
Just when you think it can't get any better?! it does😍 I'm so enthralled with this series, then I reach out and grab a Steell Patriots to top it off! It's like having the best of desserts🍩💝
Another superb episode in the wider Reaper Security world. The story of Montana and Luc’s relationship takes place in the area of weapons development. Once again the entire team are involved and there are bittersweet elements. Loved it.
I'm enjoying this series for the most part, however this is the third book I've read by this author where she kills off a gay character. It's becoming a bit much.
Montana is Lily's good friend from college and is now living and working in New Orleans. She has an unusual specialty, weapons design. Her design has become of great interest to some nefarious characters, some closer than she knows. At the wedding, she met Luc Robicheaux and went home with him. The next morning, they are a little awkward, but Luc is shocked at how much he wants to see her again. That happens very quickly, as her car is run off the road near Belle Fleur. The team comes to the rescue and realizes that she is in more danger than they knew. Still the same issue with editing and proofreading - the country in South America is called COLOMBIA, not Columbia.
