Hold Fast the Dream

Rate this book
For ambitious TV journalist Catlin Rurke, the political platform of independent senatorial candidate Matthew Carr sparks both suspicion and curiosity. If what he says is true, he just might influence the large undecided vote and swing the election. The shadow of doubt cast by Matthew's secretive past, however, spurs an intensive investigation by Catlin's unscrupulous boss and mentor, Taylor Shentell, who assigns her to the campaign. As she struggles to uncover the truth about Matthew Carr, she finds herself confronted by a choice between the man who has engineered her successful career and the man who seems possessed by an impossible dream.

This is the best book by far that i have ever read! it has no cancer or ilness to people who hate lurlene for that. it is an old book (lurlene's second book ever written) and is so very intersting from page one to the end! Catlin gets in a bundle with two guys, one she loves and the other loves her but she doesnt feel it. at the end of this twisting story, lurlene unleashes a mystery! and not a bad one either! :) put this on your list to read!
