Guarding Greatness was an enjoyable read. It was a book that I easily got into, wanting to see how the relationship between Gage and Genna played out. There were parts that held my interest better than others. The book took an unexpected turn, something that I did not see coming. The surprise had my full attention, it had me continuing to turn the pages needing to know how things would work out. I am not a fan of politics and there was a bit of that in this book. It is unavoidable here because Genna is part of a royal family. The politics in the book did not take away from the romance or over power the plot in any way.
Gage has always been fond of Genna, but he realizes his feelings are deeper than friendship. Neither of them had ever expected to have a normal life, one of them living in the shadows and the other hiding from the spotlight. They come from two differently worlds but that doesn’t stop their feelings for one another. They have to struggle to make it work but in the end, they both find their happily ever after. There is sexual content and this book is meant for a mature audience. Guarding Greatness is written in a way that you get just enough action, drama and romance all in one story!

Gage has always been fond of Genna, but he realizes his feelings are deeper than friendship. Neither of them had ever expected to have a normal life, one of them living in the shadows and the other hiding from the spotlight. They come from two differently worlds but that doesn’t stop their feelings for one another. They have to struggle to make it work but in the end, they both find their happily ever after. There is sexual content and this book is meant for a mature audience. Guarding Greatness is written in a way that you get just enough action, drama and romance all in one story!
