I thought this book was going to be a good ol'e fantasy with bows sword and arrows it did have that but it also had more. It turned out to be a LITRPG now I occasionally read these and most of the time not impressed. BUT the table was easy to read and it didn't really focus on the *game* part of the story. It had mythical creatures like orcs goblins and wyverns. If you were water interested with ranger route instead of the guy who is blessed with extreme sword and combat skills this is the book for you. And regard less if you like this or not it still is a good book. Now this is just a synopsis of the story.
I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the next. The only problem I had with it was the editing and proof reading was terible. It need to be done with someone who knows what their doing. There were so many mistakes in the book it was alittke upsitting. It makes it llok like the author didn't care and just though out the book for us to read. There were so many mostakes. I real hate to see this book go down in flames. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed the characters and story very much. Hope to find the next one out soon. I cvan not find it on amazon any longer. Good Reading Everyone!
I could only slog through the first 3 chapters before giving up. The abrupt changes from 3rd limited to 1st person point of view annoyed me, as did spoon feeding the story to me. The dialogue between the characters early on is stilted.
A talented editor is what this book needs. Since i didn't get very far I am giving it a 1 star. Possibly it could get 2 or 3 with the plot...
A pretty good book. I'd like to see a bit more depth to the character in the next book, but good storyline and good world building. The only downside to this book is the typos (defiantly rather than definitely). However, the typos don't take away from the story which is why I gave 5. Some proof reading would still be nice though.
Looking forward to next adventure. Story moves right along. Main character deed developing nicely while expanding the character set without spending chapters away from the primary story line
Enjoyed the story, but really too many simple spelling and grammar mistakes. could do with a quick read through before publishing as most were very easy to spot.
This could be really good but for the misspelled & grammars, intentional or not it was really distracting - take away from the story. Not sure if I want to read the next one. Definitely for Young Adult.
Please please get another editor to review this. Lots of grammar and spelling errors. It's still a great story and I will be reading more. 4 stars once edited.
Loved the book, it was a great start to the series. There were some grammar mistakes here and there, but they were easy to ignore. Roland (the main character) was kind, skilled, socially awkward, and very interesting. I hope he keeps that personality throughout the series.

There were many errors in grammar and errors in spelling that made it difficult to get the gist of the sentence. I would assume someone transcribed it from a recording maybe? I don't know, but perhaps B. A. Monahan should consider a new transcriptionist.
The story was very good but somebody needs to correct all the book for errors as the words were all over the place and not in proper order. This spoilt the reading of this book
Great story! I would have given a full five stars, but speech was repeated many times unnecessarily, and the grammar was bad enough to take away from the moment.
Alright first i will say that I love the story. If you plan on reading this book every time the word still is supposed to be used it has until. The story flows well but it read like ja n loves to ride her bike. Her bike is red. It has little like in the spike that light up while she rides. So an editor would really help with the flow of the writer. Even with all of this i will de f read the next book in the series. I feel this author has great potential
