Lyssa Kay Adams is the pen name of an award-winning journalist who gave up the world of telling true stories to pen emotional romances. She’s also a diehard Detroit Tigers fan who will occasionally cheer for the Red Sox because her husband is from Boston.

Lyssa lives in Michigan with her family and an anxiety-ridden Maltese who steals food and buries it around the house and who will undoubtedly be a character in a future book.

Things Lyssa loves: Baseball pants, mashed potatoes, and that little clicking sound that scissors make on the cutting table at fabric stores.

Things she doesn’t love: Mean people, melting ice cream cones, and finding food in her underwear drawer.

Keep up with Lyssa on Twitter at @LyssaKayAdams. Please note: She mostly tweets about baseball pants and mashed potatoes.

I read Lyssa Kay Adam's novella, The Prospect and I'm looking forward to the other stories in this collection. After reading Wild in Rio and Seventh Inning Heat, Lyssa Kay Adams has become an auto buy for me. She writes amazing characters dealing with tough situations who have to overcome so much to be together. This was both sweet and hot and I really felt for Bree and everything she was going through trying to save up to go to culinary school with a dad who basically abandoned her and Jax dealing with the identity crisis that came with his shoulder injury. This is a great summer read.

Book Review – Dig Deep by Lyssa Layne

** Review by Kylie from Bloggers From Down Under **

Lindy has a troubled past that nobody but her brother knows about.
Fleeing a toxic relationship, Lindy finds herself on her brothers doorstep, meeting his new wife for the very first time.

Not only is she meeting new family members, but she’s about to meet Kip, a man who could very well sweep her off her feet.

But Lindy is damaged. So much so, she has vowed never to put her trust in another man ever again.

But even though she’s been warned to stay clear of Kip, Lindy is drawn to him, and it’s not only because he can get her once promising beach volleyball career back on track.

This short story is just the beginning of what is going to be a fantastic series. Ending with so many leads this story could take, I can’t wait to find out the rest of Lindy and Kips story.

Eagerly anticipating the next part in this series……..

This review is only for one of the books in this boxed set. I received and read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

THE PROSPECT (Long Ball Boys Book One) by Lyssa Kay Adams is a fast, fun, summer read. In addition to Bree McTavish, the hard working heroine who won’t give herself a break, THE PROSPECT features a bra-stealing dog, bonfires on the beach, baseball, second changes, and Jax Tanner, a hero who asks permission. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I stayed up until the wee hours finishing Lyssa Kay Adams' THE PROSPECT, and whoa buddy, do I not regret it. A driven-yet-damaged heroine, a hot-AND-respectful hero, and chemistry that almost set my iPad aflame (among other things, but let's keep this PG). Baseball, boning, and a fairytale ending. Does it get any better than that?

This review is of Lyssa Kay Adams', The Prospect.

I shouldn't like this story. It has just about everything I don't care for in a romance. Sports. Forever-love between young twenty-somethings. A hyper-sweet happy ending tied up neatly. Really, I shouldn't like it at all. But I do. Matter of fact, I kinda loved it. The Prospect is funny, adorable, and a wee-bit heartbreaking at times. I loved Bree's determination, even when she frustrated me with her stubborn pride. I loved Jax's oddly humorous downward-spiral, as his baseball career appears over before it's begun. I really liked Jax. He's emotional, but still a guy's guy. That is a hard balance to strike, but the author is especially good at it. The men feel like men and they interact like dudes do. And like real guys, Jax earns his hot body (complete with actual body hair!) by working out, not by genetic perfection.

Early on, I assumed I was reading one of those sugary love stories where the sexytimes are romantic, but room-temperature. Uh, no. Holy f-bomb, this story is HOT. The first kiss was so intense, I needed a cigarette after reading it. The sex scenes were detailed, steamy, and plentiful. One particular sex scene, Jax says something that made me blush and swoon. It takes a lot to make me swoon in a romance anymore--my heart is basically a chunk of burned tire rubber--but I swooned.

If I have any criticism at all, it's that I wanted the adorable, bra-stealing dog to be mentioned/seen in a couple more scenes. Not to take over the story, but simply to remind us that she's there, because I forgot about her by the time I got near the end.

TLDR? Read this story. It's sweet, sexy and funny. Asparagus will never look the same to you.

Disclosure: I received an advance reader copy of Lyssa Kay Adams', The Prospect, for review consideration. This in no way affected my opinion of the story, or the content of my review.

My review is of Snow Slammer. It is written by author Lilly Christine!
It includes the story of Candace and Shane.
Candace is an intern. She flies out to Beaver Colorado to check out the action of the Snow Slammer Games.
Shane is a snowboarding star. He is hoping Candi will consider the hot action he has in mind. He shows her his awesome moves and not just on the course.
Shane falls head over heals for Candi but he shuts her out. Can he warm her in time for a Christmas at the McGreer Ranch??
I love all the McGreers series books, and this one is no exception. I like how I was able to experience the couples ups & downs, and their sweet ending.

Dig Deep by Lyssa Layne

Lindy James is the sister of baseball superstar Tate James and has arrived at his house, escaping from her past. She is full of mystery and has left a promising career in volleyball behind her for her ex-boyfriend, Sam. She does not trust easy and keeps everything close.

Kip Deevers is a sports agent who works alongside Camila Lemos. He has no interest in settling down and is known as a bot of a womanizer but when he meets Lindy there is something about her that draws him in. But as close as he tries to get, Lindy won't let him in to what she fears.

As Kip and Lindy hover over a line of friendship or more, Kip tries to help Lindy refocus on volleyball and living her own life. But what is Lindy hiding?

This was a great novella!! I am loving Kip and Lindy and a return of all of our favorite characters from previous books.

Lindy has a dark past with Sam and the novella gives you a glimpse of what she is running from while we wait for the full length novel to arrive. It's obvious how scared she is and how much she lost from her relationship with Sam. The book leaves you thinking that she is running from something bad and that there is a chance that Sam could find her again.

Kip Deevers started off as a player by what you know of him yet he is protective over Lindy and really wants to know what she is running from. Nobody will give him answers and Tate seems to not want Kip anywhere near Lindy due to what she has gone through.

I have a feeling that Kip and Lindy will be a great pair but they will have a bunch of hurdles to overcome in the novel and I can't wait!!

Such a great novella to keep us waiting for the full length novel!

Racing With The Enemy by Tamara Lush

As my first book by Tamara Lush, I was very excited to dive into this story. After the reading the synopsis for this story, I couldn't help in being intrigued the premise of this romance. I wasn't disappointed. Racing With The Enemy is a love story between the first female tire changer of the Formula World and a world famous Formula One driver. It was both refreshing and unlike any other sports romances that I have come across. I don't typically read a lot of sports romance but I couldn't help in being drawn to this story. I was completely blown away by this author's compelling writing and lovable cast of characters.

One of the things that I enjoyed about this book was that it didn't feel like I was reading a novella. This enemies to lovers romance was sweet and highly entertaining from beginning to end. The ongoing banter between Dante and Savannah made for some very funny and entertaining moments throughout the book. The chemistry and sexual tension between these characters was sweet and lighthearted fun.

Honestly I cannot recommend this story enough. So if you're looking for a short and heartwarming romance with a sexy Italian and Southern spitfire, then this is the story for you! Racing With The Enemy is definite must romance that shouldn't be missed.

I was given an ARC of Racing the Enemy by Tamara Lush in exchange for an honest review.
I love motor sport so to mix this with a hot love story is a perfect combination for me. I understand the constraints in using this sport as a background for a story but the author did a great job in using the parts of F1 she was able, to make this story as authentic as possible.
The attraction between characters was undeniable and they certainly steamed up the pages.
Looking for more books from this author, definitely one to watch!

Racing with the Enemy by Tamara Lush

I loved reading Racing with the Enemy do much. I'm not usually into motosports books, but this one pulled me in.
Savannah Jenkins is the first female Tire Changer in open wheel racing. When Dante Annunziata catches wind of her he's not happy. He plans to be rid of her but his plans backfire when a fake relationship becomes real.
This book was amazing. Tamara Lush is an amazing author I just love her work. This is a must read!

I loved Racing With The Enemy. The characters were entertaining. Dante is as hot off the track as he is racing. As a Southern girl myself, I really enjoyed that Savannah was sweet yet sassy! Their story was well written and was not rushed! It was hot with a side of humor! For these characters, sometimes dreams come true if you get past fears and stereotypes to live in the moment. I really enjoyed this book!

I read Tamara Lush’s Racing with the Enemy, and as always she did not disappoint. Dante is a stubborn, hot, Italian, Alpha male, race car driver. Savannah, a sweet ex pageant, recovering from an eating disorder, Georgia girl, worked her way into the circuit and onto his team and into his life whether he liked it or not. Cue the angst. Well as for me, I loved it!

“That’s what he did to me, made me feel drugged.”
Me too, Savannah, me too! Dreamy bastard.

“ It was so romantic that my heart hurt.”
When Dante wasn’t being a stubborn, ::inserts all kinds of bad words::, he was the epitome of erotic, romantic, sexy, and all the other good words! LE SIGH. Picturing him whisper all sorts of sexy things in Italian in her ear put my body in over drive.

The book also touched on women in sports and in the world in general and I really loved that most because, you know, GIRL POWER! Well done, Tamara Lush!
