This series celebrates one particularly fierce band of brothers who valiantly battled terrorists whose crimes against nature and humanity were far too great to chance escape. On a dark night, on foreign soil, SEAL Team Alpha witnessed acts so unspeakably cruel against women, infants and small children that their consciences would not allow anything other than their own brand of justice for the scum terrorist cell.
A trial would have been too good for these pigs, and so, one-by-one they were taken out, and the women and children they’d used were freed. By dawn, an entire region breathed easier. The men of Alpha found themselves heroes to those whose lives they had saved, but virtual criminals in the eyes of the organization they served. After a lengthy investigation, their elite, covert team was formally disbanded.
They now spend their lives deep undercover, still serving—no longer their country, but individuals who find themselves in need of not only their own personal warrior, but a particular brand of justice.

Stories are two short for proper character development. The adventure was okay.

Harding Breslow lost the girl because of his work. And now that same woman needs his help because of what he does. Isn't life funny? No. Nothing is funny for poor Harding as his feelings are alive and well for Liv...and yet, unwanted.
Olivia Burnett's grandparents have gone missing and the only man she needs...is her ex-boyfriend. Well, there's truly nothing boyish about the hunk of a man she used to date. He puts himself in danger for others and that's what she needs...even if it wasn't what she wanted in her forever kind of guy.
The Trident team will get the job done. Just like they did when they were SEALs. Another great story with surprising twists and turns. As usual...a real page turner. Looking forward to the final book; Renegade. This fifth book is also part of the ten book series; Rodeo Knights.

This is the fourth book in the series.
When a old girlfriend's grandparents aren't heard from for weeks, the granddaughter knows something's the matter especially when there's special dates they never miss calling her. However, she doesn't have the skills to find them, so she calls her old boyfriend to help.
The old boyfriend is friends with the others in the previous books. He's still in love with her, but his lifestyle is not good for relationships or marriage. However, the heroine tells him it'll never work and they'll never have a further relationship. However, she still feels the zap of chemistry between them.
As they set out to find her grandparents they run into a bit of everything. The author does a great job in taking the plot to areas you had a feeling you were going to go to but then does some great twists with the plot in those areas.
The grandfather, who's been looking for a suspected treasure rumor from his military days, finally finds something; however, as soon as he does the bad guys find him and his wife. Along the way of trying to escape, they find more than they ever thought as well.
Will our hero and hero find the grandparents and bring the bad guys to justice? What will they do with the other things they find along the way? Will the hero and heroine finally realize what they have is a future?
The plot is good and like I said above, you knew where it was going but the author puts a few twists and turns into it. Some of the people they interact with along the way make you laugh and giggle and others, like the soldiers, make you roll your eyes. Pretty good flow with some down time to get the gist of the hero/heroine love life story.

There is corrupt cops, shady business owners, phony military and the wilds of Utah’s canyon country.

Unfortunate Pattern
At book 4, there’s a pattern and unfortunately it’s not very flattering. Plenty over the top blustering, multiple layers of bad guys, and so much tunnel vision.
Once again, FMC Olivia is blindly stupid when it comes to self preservation, stubbornly making bad situations worse at every possible opportunity.
Spoiler Alert 🚨
Local police are a sex trafficking ring,
Truck stop is credit card fraud center,
Mercenaries are looking for a lost nuke.
At book 4, there’s a pattern and unfortunately it’s not very flattering. Plenty over the top blustering, multiple layers of bad guys, and so much tunnel vision.

They just keep getting better. Glad everyone is safe and well. What a wild ride. Bombs, human trafficking, credit card theft, lost senior citizens, and bad police. What more could you ask for? Can not wait to read the next book. Keep writing and I will keep reading. Thank you.

Family affair
Second chance romance ..accidentally. Working together to find her grandparents their emotions reignite and they can’t keep denying their love. The story is quick and full of action with people searching for a lost treasure and a nuke. Add in a criminal town and evil people who are supposed to be good, this book had them questioning and doubting everyone.

Aweful
This was a awful story. She is a complete and total jerk the whole time. She treated him like crap. He deserves way better. Didn’t buy that they cared for each other. They got a HEA but don’t know how. I will not be continuing this series.

Non-stop action and adventure! Harding and Olivia are a great match for each other. This was as good as the previous books in this series!

Good book
I enjoyed the fact that the heroine was tough and not a damsel in distress. I’ve read the first 4 books and will finish the series.

Age
It was nice to have a story about active people in their seventies. Not every story has to be about someone in their 20’s. It was a good read and exciting story.
