Battleship is the second book in the Anchored series, but could be read as a stand alone. Lily pushes herself outside of her comfort zone when she attends Anchored with her friend and is surprised when she catches Master Thorn’s attention. After one tiny scene together, they go their separate ways, but will Lily take a chance on something new and exciting with Thorn?

I really enjoyed this book! It’s fast paced, and basically the perfect little steamy afternoon read. Lily and Thorn have amazing chemistry together, one that could be felt right from the very beginning. I felt that Lily was a super relatable character, unsure if she’s a submissive, scared and nervous about pushing herself outside of her comfort zone, and vulnerable about if she can truly trust Master Thorn or not. She had to research and ask questions and answer uncomfortable ones, too! I loved Thorn! He was the perfect Dom for Lily, the one who could push her, the one who would catch her if she fell. I liked that he thought of her just as much and was a calming force for others in the unknowns of BDSM. I really liked them together. They seemed to have fun, but could also be serious when needed. This was a great book, full of connection and trust, steam and love!

This book is fantastic! The second book in the Anchored series is just as good as the first! This time it's Lily's turn to find what she needs at Anchored. She is Christina's coworker and after a tough week, Christina invites Lily to join her and Zack at the club. At first she hesitates but then figures she has nothing to lose by going. They go and after watching a scene, she's a bit overwhelmed and heads back to the bar while Christina and Zack go watch another scene. It's at the bar where Lily meets Master Jaxson Thorn and it changes her life. She's sure she's not a submissive but an hour at the bar with Jaxson has her wondering. He gives her his number and almost a week goes by before she contacts him again. He invites her to dinner and it leads to a wonderful night. Lily and Jaxson both decide they want to see where a relationship would go between them and one month later, they are back at Anchored where Jaxson proposes and Lily says yes.

Is she a submissive or just curious

Battleship is the second book in the Anchored series and is the story of Lily and Jaxson. Lily is a friend and coworker of Christina's, whose story was told in Starboard. She is invited to the BDSM club Anchored by Lily and Zack. While there she is a bit overwhelmed after watching a scene for the first time so she goes to the bar and meets Master Jaxson Thorn. He is intrigued by Lily as soon as he sees her and believes she is a submissive. But she is not too sure about that. Master Thorn is ready to prove she is to her and he is going to do it in all the most delicious ways.

This second book in the series is a fast-paced novella that is well written and held my attention. It was interesting to read Lily and Jaxson's back and forth as he not only gives her a tour of the club but also is ready to make her understand that she is a submissive and he is meant to be her Dom.

A sweet character's introduction to a new lifestyle. I never thought I'd read a BDSM story that was sweet, I didn't think they existed, but this one book has proven that idea invalid. Lily is bright, curious and strong but feels like she needs more life in her life. Jaxson is missing something in his life, everything is kind of "been there, done that" and he is just kind of floating. Lily and Jaxson have an unexpected meet/cute scene in a sex club,I know, right? I don't know how Sophie Stern did this, but she wrote such a sweet and still highly sexual story that I know why I am a fan now. It is a literary oxymoron and it reads fast so pay attention! Although it reads well by itself, it is a part of a larger series, and I read the first one months ago but was still able to fall into this story anyway.

Battleship is the second book in the Anchored series. Lily work with Christine at the daycare centre. When she’s invited to join both her and Zack for an evening at Anchored, she accepts but has no idea what to expect. Master Thorn in a club favourite and recognises the submissive in Lily. Although she’s not convinced, he spends time talking with her and neither of them can forget the other as the next week progresses. Thrilled when she gets in touch, Jaxson spends an enjoyable evening teaching Lily about submission, and both of them hope that there will be more nights together. This was an excellent second book that sees an unsure submissive enjoying all she has to learn and a dominant captivated by a unique and interesting young woman.

BDSM at its finest. There is total respect and everything is consensual between the D/s. This is book two of the Anchor series. Lily is tired and needs a break from all the children from the preschool and her lazy landlord. She gets invited to Anchored and the club is unlike anything she's ever seen before. When she meets Master Thorn he is totally intrigued by Lily and wants to prove to her that she is a submissive. Loved the characters and the story just flows. The second book of the Anchored series does not disappoint in the slightest. It does bring back some previous characters from the first book, but then also introduces the reader to Lily. A 20-something raised to be conservative now finds herself face to face with Master Thorn, a man that knows a tremendous amount about BDSM. Their chemistry is undeniable and the romance is amazing between the pair as well. I can not wait to read the third book in the series.

I've read a lot of books written by Sophie Stern; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Lily has been fighting to get things fixed, after needing to let of steam she finds herself at Anchored a BDSM club, Lily is getting shown around by a Dom, the chemistry between them was hot and steamy with emotions that makes you want more.

Hot and steamy BDSM romance. Back to the Anchored meet another couple. There is connection with first book just because they are friends. Lilly works with Christine.
Jaxson aka Master Thorn, teaches Lilly how to trust and open to possibilities. And she is willing, great communication between this two. Happy Ending? Yes..

The author has again given us characters that we can understand. Lily is invited to be a guest at Anchored, a private BDSM club. As she is sitting at the bar she meets Master Thorn. She states that she is not a submissive, however, Master Thorn is intrigued by her and wants to prove her wrong.
