Leave your world behind--visit Dragon Planet today!
Crash landing on an alien planet was definitely not on the itinerary.
But while touring the Pyramids of Egypt my friends and I are sucked through a tear in reality and hurtled through space. We’re surrounded by exploding volcanoes, killer predators, and wild alien barbarians who want to take us hostage and use us like cattle.
My only hope is a smoking-hot alpha dragon with brilliant eyes and giant claws who claims me as his treasured one. He’s powerful, possessive, and willing to fight anyone who messes with his mate.
He’s a shifter named Targon, and he’s a Dragon Lord.
My knees wobble and my head spins whenever his fiery eyes are upon me. His touch lights a fire in my heart like I’ve never felt before.
But there’s danger at every turn, and the other dragons want to repopulate their planet… using my body.
This Full-Length Romance Novel contains exotic alien locales, nonstop action, and steamy scenes between a seductively hot dragon shifter and a BBW from Earth.
There are No Cliffhangers and you’re guaranteed a Happily Ever After!
I currently reside in sunny Southern California and spend my days writing, going for walks, and trying to catch as much comedy and live music as I can. If there's a show nearby, you can bet I'll be there!
I also have a life-long obsession with space travel (which often finds me up into the wee morning hours browsing internet articles and reading books when I should be sleeping). I took courses in Astronomy, Cosmology, and Exobiology while attending college, and if I wasn't a writer I'd have my eyes glued to a telescope on some mountaintop in the high desert.
I love all things science fiction - especially if they involve a hunky love interest with a big heart. My idea of a great romance novel is one packed with plenty of action, suspense, and those tender moments that define our relationships. I love to travel when I can and try to incorporate as many exotic and unique locales as I can into my books.
I'm currently writing about sexy dragon shifters and the curvy, beautiful women who love them. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, check out Dragon Planet, the first installment in my Dragons of Theros series.

The synopsis on this one sounded good, but sadly I ended up being incredibly disappointed. I am a huge fan of Dragon and shifter romances but this one just didn’t work for me. Our heroine is suddenly in some sort of other world. She is rescued by a dragon from some bad guys. At around 15% she wakes up with the dragon and is relieved to see she is no longer tied up. Then upon seeing the hero she thinks to herself, "at least I'm not tied up BUT being tied up with ropes could be fun" Are you f'ing kidding me? There was absolutely no character depth involved in this read. Insta-love extreme. They are immediately giving each other orgasms right when they first meet. It was ridiculous. I wish I had declared this one a DNF early on. At least it was offered as a kindleunlimited, but this won't be a series I continue or a readers work I will check out in the future. Too predictable and cliché for my preference.
So I've read a few non-complimentary reviews about this book. However, I staunchly disagree and think this book was great. Sure on the surface much of the broad story line is not anything new but I thought the author did a phenomenal job of creating her own individual and unique story. If you're a alien and/or dragon lover this book will not disappoint. Rin and a group of friends are somehow taken through a 'wormhole' while in a helicopter touring the pyramids of Egypt. I say wormhole because I'm not sure if that's what it was, but then again it's not a big deal how, just that the girls are taken from Earth and deposited on a planet so unlike our own. Luckily in Rin's case she is saved at a truly life-altering time Her dragon saves her and carries her off the his lair, a cave filled with jewels and gold, typical dragon lol. The two obviously fall in love and like some other stories I've read, the two are basically unable to communicate until they have sex, then a mind link forms so they can finally communicate. I thought the story line was great and there was so much set-up for the continuation of the series, which is disappointing since I realize the book was released in 2017 and I'm not finding any evidence of any more books in the series or even by the author. I would love to read more and while the book does not end in a cliffhanger, again, there is so much setup for future stories such as the bad elder group of dragons who want to use Rin's friends basically as sex slaves to further their line. Or even the fact that Rin helped Targon rescue his fellow dragon friends and her friends from a group of cruel and evil, other worlders as they are called. Plus there seems to be the perfect amount of dragons for every female. Ugh that's truly the only bad thing I can say is that there are no more and that's just not right. I would definitely recommend this book and I can only hope somewhere along the way I'll run into more in the series, it was a great read.
This was a great adventure and great set up for what I’m sure going to be a great series. It was so much fun to read and the twist and turns made me stay up let to find out what would plan next. I could fell the connection between Targon and Ron from the start. They meld well together.
I skimmed so much of this book that I'm surprised I finished it. There was a lot of repetitiveness, as well as constant back-and-forth. And when I say I skimmed, I mean I skipped several pages in a row at a time. It was a great storyline idea, just poor execution.
This had a great premise. The characters are just too simple to be interesting. I never enjoyed the grunting hero, or having to talk like the guy was a three year old. This basic plot slowed tho is plot down to a snail's pace.
Surrounded by six friends, Rin is thrilled to be flying over Giza’s pyramids in a helicopter! Who would have thought that could happen? Travel abroad scholarships made it possible for them, and they are having a wonderful vacation. Coming around again to see the pyramids, the air gets bumpier and the pyramid looks a bit fuzzy or out of focus? Static electricity makes the hair stand up on their arms, and the helicopter is pulled through a hole in the sky!
As the women crawl out of the wreck, they look around at a strange planet. They are standing in an actual clearing in a hot, steamy jungle and the ground beneath their feet is trembling as an active volcano shoots molten rock into the sky! Relieved that at least they are still on Earth, Susan points to the TWO moons shining above!
As the ladies organize themselves, Rin and Becky go to look for water. Rin finds some, but Becky is no longer behind her and something huge crashes through the trees in front. She turns to run and is surrounded by men in odd lizard masks! She blacks out and awakens, tied down to a huge slab while the men chant. . . until a huge DRAGON flies down and all but one man runs away. He holds his sword at her throat! Will she be killed by her captor? Or will the dragon attack her? What will happen to her friends who don’t even know what has happened to her? And where is Becky who had been behind her? And at this point, even if she survives, will they ever be able to get back to Earth? You won’t believe what’s coming up next!
I was in awe of the author’s description of the world the women crashed on! The writing was so vivid that I could see the environment she was describing right in front of me as I continued reading! The characters are also expertly developed so that the reader can easily identify the personalities of each. And there is no doubt about the suspense! Non-stop action from the first page! Be sure to grab a copy of this book and catch up on all the action! You won’t be sorry!

Rin planned a trip to Egypt and recruited 5 other girls from college to go with her. On their trip there, they see weird energy patterns around the pyramid. Their helicopter gets sucked up. When the girls awaken, their helicopter has crashed in a jungle. The girls then notice that there are two moons in the sky so it is clear they are no longer on Earth. Their pilot died in the crash so the girls are on their own. Rin is out on a search for water when she is captured by humanoids with dragon masks. They take her back to their village for a sacrifice ritual but she is saved by a dragon who attacks her captors. The dragon flies away with and she is terrified but so far the dragon has only been kind to her. Targon is a dragon shifter who rescues Rin. He wants her to be his mate but since they don't speak the same language, it is hard to communicate. He is alone since the rest of his people have been captured and enslaved by the humanoids on the planet. He needs to rescue his friends and families and get Rin to agree to be his mate. This is a great story and I can't wait for book two. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
This is Book One of The Dragons of Theros Series and definitely starts the series off with a bang. Can you imagine while touring the Egyptian pyramids with your college friends that your entire life changes in a flash. By some strange mishap you are sucked through a portal of some type and thrown into space where you are surrounded by bad aliens, dragons and dangerous planetary surroundings. Danger, sacrifice, suspense, dragons and lots of drama. They are wanting to repopulate their planet and use us a s breeders. Scary but then enters Targon, a dragon lord (shifter) to the rescue. A well written story with a great plot and wonderful characters. Very entertaining and thought provoking. A great alien/human romance. I received an arc copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. Can't wait for book 2.
This is a subject that has been done, and I felt like there were sections that I have read before, this was still a solid read. To my surprise I enjoyed the character Rin, she did the typical have sex with the alien in five minutes, then question why your now mated. But she would think about her response and his response, along with her circumstances and correct her behavior. So you don't have to endure the typical stupid h behaviors. My only real complaint is the lack of an alien voice, he can't not know what a pod is to using earth sexual terms, along with other words. This change is fine if she's hearing his thoughts and some how translating, but his own thoughts should be alien.
I am enamoured by writers who can invent whole worlds out of nothing. This author not only did that but created several new species as well. The underlying plot was well thought out and grammar was excellent. The two main characters Targon, the dragonman and Rin, the Earth girl were complex and their story was quite believable. The thing that I hope will be resolved are what I call time gaps. For instance when Run is tied to the altar she is naked, when she come too, after Targon saves her,she miraculously has her clothes back. As a writer myself I know how that happens. A good beta reader is invaluable. But the story of Targon and Rin's growing love for each other is an excellent and heartwarming tale. I'm ready to see what happens next.
It starts out a bit rocky, but get better. Then there are a few continuity issues. For example Rin is stripped naked and tied to an altar, and about to be raped. In swoops the dragon that takes her to his cave. Rin is now unconscious and fully clothed. No idea when she stopped for a wardrobe change - mid-flight atop a dragon's back?
There is also a big fight, rescue scene nearing the end where Targon goes to rescue his clan. Tarpon is knocked unconscious and everything is going bad and the chapter ends. Next we have Rin worried and giving up on waiting then behold there are dragons in the sky heading towards them. Again, no explanation and a big blank from one scene to another.
My rating is just short of 3 stars due to gaps and continuity issues.

This had an interesting take on shifters that hooked me from start to finish. The author throws you right into the storyline with no real chance to connect with the female or male lead. Honestly the story could have been developed more because it did feel rushed and forced a bit with Rin having a Stockholm syndrome of sorts with her savior. The characters were more focused on their libidos then the more important aspects of the book in my opinion. I did enjoy the read and that the creativity was awesome. Based on content this book is for mature audiences and as an independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock give this book 3.5 Hearts
Rin takes a trip to the Pyramids in Egypt with a few friends. A freak storm while they were traveling by helicopter sends them straight to a far away world called Theros. After crashing and only the girls surviving, Rin gets abducted by very aggressive natives. Targon saves the day and takes the girl. It's an adventure in a very unknown world of shifters and otherworlders. It's my first book by this author and I like her writting style.
I give this book a four and a half. Good plot, well thought out. I feel like I know both Rin and Targon. Not an easy task as a writer. As an added bonus Ms. Rhea let's us get to know some of her other characters, briefly. Loved the twists and turns the story takes. Primitive can be so much fun. Wish we knew a bit more about the aliens. Maybe the girls could have helped with some of the technology that's implied. Anyway a good book and well worth the read.
This is a fun, sexy story about some women who get caught is some kind of alien wormhole and are transported to primitive planet populated by dragon shifters and other alien species. The main female character in this book is Rin who is rescued from a dire situation by a hunky dragon man named Targon who believes she is his mate. Not too deep, this action/adventure/romance was an enjoyable read. 3.75 stars.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
The story was well written and a few hot scenes. There were a couple editing errors. Rin and Targon were good characters but for some reason I could not get into the story. I'd read a few pages and the put it away for hours. I continued this way until I finally finished just a few seconds ago. It took a week to finish. A very long time for me.
If I decide to read another story in this series I hope it grabs my interest better. Hope you all like it better than I did. Good reading everyone.
First time reading from the author. Loved the story. I love shifter books and this one had a different feel to it, which made it a great story to read. Thought the story was well written and loved the characters. Hot steaminess between the two main characters. Can't wait to see what Rhea walker writes next.
It was a fairly good story. Humans stranded on alien world meet dragons and fall in love. That's pretty much it. I did have one thing I didn't like which is why I only gave it four stars. There are quite a few typos in the book that made me stumble. For example "grabbing the reigns" instead of "reins". If you don't mind that then you might like this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
Dragon Planet was the perfect palate cleanser to keep me motivated to continue working through my TBR list - fun, sexy, and quick. Yes, there was a shape shifting alien dragon, but he was so so sweet and loving and I just dug it. So much so that I will be continuing with the series and looking for more from the author!
Love the dragon shifter story and the interaction with all the characters. Keeps everything interesting with the captured dragons, the creepy jungle guys and the old horny dragons. (The story made me wonder if there were many of them left.) So I am looking forward to the remainder of the books.
I absolutely loved this book. Rhea Walker is a truly gifted author. The world building, storyline, characters, vivid scenery, the writing style all come together to make this one of the best books in this genre. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this intriguing series. I would definitely recommend it.
I loved it. Despite some miscommunications in the beginning Rin and Targon were able to forge an amazing relationship where she will always be his treasured one. I can't wait for more from this series.
'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'
I enjoyed this book. The character development was very good. I enjoyed the humour and interaction between the main characters as well. I believe the next books in this series are going to be exciting and just as enjoyable to read. Excellent work!
3.75 stars Pretty good. It was kind of a slow pace until the end where it kind of skimmed over what should have been some pretty interesting action scenes. ***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
This book was good! It needed a bit of editing, but it doesn't detract from the story. Targon and Rin are great characters. They are believable and real. Can't wait to read the next one!
Thought I'd try this book out and it's actually pretty good... It pulled me right in, could not stop reading... storyline is great too. Definitely going to read the next book!!
