Where to even start.
This book was such utter garbage and if it didn’t come so highly praised and forcibly recommended, it would have remained (gladly) in the shadows of my awareness where it belongs.

To preface, I am truly a believer in the Law of Attraction and the power of fate or the universe or whatever to bring abundance and joy into your life if you know how to ask for it. I do not, however, believe that this book is in any way qualified to be explaining such concepts in the matter-of-fact manner that it attempts. Phrases such as ‘it is a known principle’ and ‘this shit isn’t made up. It’s science.’ are used without actually referencing from where these principles or are known, or from what ‘scientific’ evidence these shits are derived from, which only leads to the laughable realization that the author has just completely made all of this up. This is fine—she is more than welcome to share her experience in an experiment that has personally worked for her in order to inspire others in their experimental journeys, but my issue with this book was the instructive, know-all tone in which it was written. The Universe works in many mysterious ways, far from being a defined and proven resource, and an attempt to outline its power in a single conclusive ‘how-to’ guide is blatantly rubbish.

Then, of course, I cannot leave off without addressing the author’s appalling ignorance of her own privilege, which critically limits the demographic for which this book might actually work to upper-middle-class White women. Actual examples of ways her money has ‘manifested’ are 1) her mom paying off her credit card bill, and 2) her mom finding her someone to help her with her taxes.
Then there was the time she actually thought it okay to state that ‘everyone is born onto the same playing field.’
Need I even comment?

Written a bit degrading as if to a child in very simplistic, trying-too-hard-to-be-current phrasing, and positively riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. The best Money Manifesting tip this book has taught me to tell you is to leave off buying this book and do something more worthwhile with your money.

I don’t believe I’ve ever given a book only 1 star. So let me explain. If this book wasn’t given to me as a gift, I never would have made it past the first page. The writing is THAT bad. But I persevered.

The author makes some good points about positive thinking and the energy flow of the universe, yes. Except her rational was pitiful, her claims were unsupported, and her tone was absolutely obnoxious.

Let me make this clear: the authors $1,000 manifestation came from her mother accidentally paying off her credit card bill.

So don’t you DARE tell people they aren’t “looking hard enough” in the universe when she is mistaking her PRIVILEGE for “mystical positive energy flow.”

I don’t care if people have help with their bills. That’s absolutely okay. But that doesn’t give you the authority to write for an audience that may not have those privileges.

Words cannot describe how much I despised this book. I could go on, but hopefully you’ve already moved on by now.

If you’re looking for some money making tips, for the love of god, look somewhere else.

There is SO much interest in the Law of Attraction these days. Or maybe there always was? I'm a little late to the party. I only read The Secret a month ago. I was extremely skeptical about the concept even as a little girl. Ask and it will be given to you? Surely it can't be *that* easy. And ok to be fair, it's not. That is kind of a reductionist mindset borne from my twelve year old know-it-all attitude.

Even after reading two books on the subject I'm still not completely sold. I want to be, but I'm not... yet. No, I didn't manifest $1,000 in 21 days, but according to the LOA that could be due to my lack of faith. Even when I threw myself into it and pretended to my heart's content I couldn't quite lie convincingly to my inner self. After all of this, I think there is a method of accomplishing the same thing but in a way that feels more authentic to me personally. However, further experimentation is needed.

All of that aside, Unleash Your Inner Money Babe was decent. I read it based on a recommendation from one of my favorite blogs. It is empowering in that it forces you to pay attention to your spending habits and money flow so you can start to get your finances in order. At the same time it teaches you how to make the Law of Attraction work for you and is embedded with strategies that author Kathrin Zenkina has learned from personal experience. Her tone is upbeat and fun, but she doesn't hesitate to kick your butt into gear which I think suits the subject matter well.

Some of the exercises she introduces were incredibly helpful. For example, making a list of every situation in which you felt wronged (esp. in regards to money) and then you go down the list and forgive the person for it. This was a wildly cathartic experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting free therapy. In addition, she teaches you how to identify, challenge, and eventually work through the limiting beliefs that may be holding you back in achieving the success you envision for yourself.

While Unleash Your Inner Money Babe did not help me get my pot of gold at the end of the 21 day rainbow, there was still enough valuable advice that I feel it was worth the read.

Rant-y sidenote: Lately I find myself cringing every time I come across the word "babe" and I'm starting to think this book might be to blame? It is the epitome of the millennial mindset. I don't have anything against millennials, I mean technically, I am one. But why take something that can stand perfectly well on it's own and add the word "babe" to it? Do you think that makes it glossier, more marketable or palatable? It's like dressing your chihuahua in a tutu. It's cute but it's also ridiculous. Let's make it millenial pink while we're at it.

I felt this was very poorly written and not credible. There were plenty of credible ideas borrowed from somewhere else, but then it was glammed up with sparkles and bubbles and left little true value to the concepts. I would highly suggest Get Rich, Lucky Bitch over this one. It's a much more grounded and useful book.

The power of positive thinking really goes a long way! The ideas in this book are simple, and can be easily followed. You will get out of it what you put in.

I liked most of it. I really liked the section where the author shows that we are already abundant by taking note of how much we receive in our daily lives. That nickel you found on your morning walk, the coffee that was paid for by the car in front of yours, the discount you didn’t even know about. All these things add up and I was amazed how much I get. And how much I should be grateful for. The author sprinkled a lot of these little truths throughout the book. However I noticed a deep correlation between what the author had to say a many spiritual texts like the Bible.

It should be noted that the author never claims the ideas presented in the book are originally her’s, but I was struck at how she constantly used the word “Universe” as the source of this energy. I guess she used it as secular marker, I don’t know, but a lot of the ideas presented are religious in origin but are passed off as new-age ideologies.

For instance, in terms of visualization, the Judeo-Christian God repeatedly tells the faithful that whatever they fix their eyes on, grows within them, and whatever grows within them, they will become. In the study of Tibetan Buddhism, they use visualization as way to see themselves as they would like to be, and thus helping them to actualize that state more quickly.

Again, the Judeo-Christian God believes in positivity and that positivity manifesting itself. This is freedom of choice. And if you need something, ask your BF Jesus. Sure, he might not buy you a brand new Corvette, but he’ll show you where you can get a great deal on a car that’ll take your from point A to B. The prophet Muhammad said, “Supplicate Allah Almighty and be certain that He will answer your prayer” (Tirmidhi).” Essentially, ask and you’ll receive. These things are not new and they deserve the credit.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I felt that the author's style of writing and conveying her points was very relatable and easy for almost anyone to understand. There were a few days where I disagreed with the author's perspective but understood where she was coming from and where she was going. As someone who has been studying the law of attraction for a while now I don't feel like I learned anything new, but actually taking a few minutes every day to practice the exercises in this book helped me to put what I've learned to the test. The money did manifest in a way that was unexpected but will be very useful for me in the long run. I felt that the book was more of a self-help guide than a how-to on manifesting money, which is a good thing because it helps out a lot to be in a positive state in order to attract positive things. I can appreciate both this book and the author.

This book focuses on 21 day prompts and lessons to help you to align yourself to attract and receive a specific amount of income (additional to what you expect to receive) that you’ve decided on. The idea is to really clear the space, get clear on what you want, show gratitude, clear limiting beliefs without worrying about how the money will manifest into your life. I can say that it has worked for me through ways I expected and through some ways I did not expect. I would recommend this book for those familiar and open to the idea of the law of attraction, and to also supplement the reading with the author’s podcasts for each day.

Thank you for this book. It was nice to find out about all wonderful techniques: magical and psychological to attract money and gain a mindset for abundance. The book has a comfortable system of "read one method a day and just do it". The only minus for me personally is the language, that was used: I'm not fond of reading words like "f*ck", "b**ch", "sh*t" and others - this book has plenty of those.

From the prologue to the end, I can feel Kathrin's overflowing energy !! I really LOVE Kathrin's advice because it really works!!!

And, the title of the book is no joke, AT ALL. But, the magic is I ended up manifesting over $2500 in less than 21 days. This is really a good workbook for your money mindset and completely shifted my energy.

And I will for sure read this, again and again, to go up and up and up, exceeding my maximums AAAA <3

This book is meant to be read.one chapter at a time so that you can do the suggested.homework and spend a full day letting the lesson sink in. I do many of the activities already so I did read through the book in a couple days and took the suggested lessons into my daily routine. It's a great book for beginners in manifestation.

I went into the 21 days challenge (which I did over 40 days) with my eyes open, ready for whatever was waiting for me. And I had an amazing experience - I manifested my £1000, and I believe it was all through being more open and ready to receive whatever the Universe would throw at me! I'm actually going to do the challenge again, I found it so life-changing.

Nothing new here in concept and missing some important manifestation steps as well. But I can overlook that as folks new to Law of Attraction may still benefit from this introduction. Honestly, I gave it 2 stars for the terrible writing and printing. I can only assume it was self published - and done poorly at that.

I just absolutely love everything Katherine does. This book was a game changer for my money mindset. My husband and I did it together and it really helped us because we own a business together. Since starting the book we’ve made the most money we’ve ever made and went on an amazing trip to Spain. Believe in yourself people!

It really works

I have studied law of attraction stuff for years and have been stuck on money. I bought this book to sort myself out and did a meditation that is on a LOA app. I set myself the goal of manifesting £7777k. On the second last day of the challenge...I got a backdated pay rise of £7900k. Amazing. 💖

I manifested $1700 !!!

One of the best manifestation books other than the Secret by Rhonda. Kathrin is really so radiant and positive and it shows from her writing too. And yes, during reading this book, I manifested $1700 AND discovered I already had about $600 somewhere with me that I had forgotten about. This works!!!

I freaking loved this book!

This book was wonderful to read! I really like the fact that Kathrin lives by this rule. If you’ve ever listened to her podcast, I can actually hear her in this book. I can hear her talking and saying the words to me. Anyway if you want a good read and want to manifest $1000 or more give this book a read.

This book helped me change my mindset towards what assets I have but it is not a magical means to make money. It is still worth doing if you feel like you really need a refresh but it won’t be the cure for all your money woes.

This book gave me permission to have faith!

I loved that it was a book that unapologetically gave me permission to have faith in the universe. I loved the spiritual money mindset behind the 10/10/10 tool. Great book Katherine!

Throughout the book it mentions a general manifestation number ($1,000). Each time you read that, say it as YOUR number (I did $10,000) and it will push you harder.

YES I did manifest OVER $10,000!!
