This guide was much more informative than I expected. I’ve studied the Bible for 42 years-to-date and learned many new elements that are present in many of the books. I will use this as a reference when I prepare to preach through a particular book. I plan to offer it to my son, who is feeling called to the pastorate, so he can gain some insight as well.

It's not as big as you think it is, but oddly enough I actually kind of like it that way. If you have like the pocket-sized bibles for if you're like a chaplain or on the go, this is actually a solid backup for context to getting a point across or just for like diagram or map.... The quality is solid too. I'd say it's worth it.

It was a helpful book for my goals, as far as reference books are concerned. I used it in tandem with my chronological Bible reading this year and I am glad I used this resource for my notes.
