Once upon a time there was a beautiful young woman named Egypt, and she loved sex. Cursed by her mother’s dying declaration, she thinks she is unworthy of love. Locking her feelings inside an impenetrable ice block, she hides behind casual sex. Aided by her Naughty Fairy Godmother, she creates a playlist of rules to live by to avoid a broken heart.

When the ruggedly, sexy businessman, Harper Beckmann enters the restaurant where she is the executive chef, she feels drawn to him in ways she never felt before. When he denies her offer for a casual hook-up and offers to take her on a date instead, she is intrigued. Unable to resist his charms, she allows him to break all of her rules, including kissing on the mouth.

Harper has been playing the field since his fiancée left him for his best friend. A romantic at heart, he longs for the love of a good woman. When he meets Egypt, he knows instantly she is just what he needs to cure his aching heart. If he can break down her walls and get her to admit she loves him too, Beckmann may just be the one to break the curse.

Steamy! This book is every bit as sexy as the beautiful cover. There was a bit too much sex in my opinion (including butt stuff), but the writing is great, and I thoroughly enjoyed the connection between Beckmann and Egypt. I was also asked to include that there is a child abuse trigger. Heroine is sexually abused as a teen. My favorite parts were them just being sweet to each other and doing relationship stuff. The dialogue/pacing/editing were good. I am certainly an L.Loren fan. I enjoyed this as much as her Wanderlynn Experience book series. I know I'll get an exciting story with plenty of sex and good editing whenever I pick up one of her books!
Would recommend to those looking for sex scenes so hot that your Kindle might melt, and likable characters.

This was my first L. Loren read and I truly LOVED it. Mind you...I am not a reader of erotica but I will now read L. Loren's LoveRotica!

I enjoyed the way the relationship between Egypt and Beckmann progressed and NFG (you will have to read the book to know who that is), was an absolute riot!!

I have lots of favorite parts, but the one that made me laugh out loud was when the two were caught in the act by Beckmann's mom!

There are a LOT of sexy bits in the story (duh...LoveRotica) but they certainly fit Egypt's hot-mess personality.

The prologue is deep and revealing and does contain reference to sexual abuse, but I think it sets the tone and makes readers connect with Egypt.

If you like steamy...and I do mean STEAMY reads that will make you blush from head to toe, and characters that have a deep connection, then you will enjoy this hot and sexy fairytale.

I received an ARC of this book.

4.5 steamy stars ✨.
NFG is too much and I love her. Egypt & Beakmann are nasty. The things they do through the book... Let's just say if you enjoy erotica reads you are in for a treat. Beside their insatiable need for each other. Their interactions were fun and hilarious at times. Can't wait for the next installment.

*This book contain a brief mention of child (young teen ) sexual abuse.

Meet Egypt Wilson. She's gorgeous and an accomplished chef. Unfortunately, she was the unwilling victim of sexual abuse when she was a teenager. Egypt's scars run deep. In survival mode, and after her mother convinces her that she is not worthy of love, the young woman creates a list of rules to live by. This includes being promiscuous and not allowing herself to get close to anyone. Brick by brick, Egypt builds a wall to shield the pain of her past. Until one night, when Egypt is at work, the man of her dreams walks into the restaurant and into her heart. In no time, Egypt's life is changed forever.

Egypt's ally in this saga is NFG (Naughty Fairy Godmother) who sometimes comes across as the voice of reason and logic. Come on, she's a fairy godmother, after all. You know she isn't going to let her girl get into too much trouble! The interjections from NFG are hilarious and well placed. The addition of this character really added to the fantasy elements of the story. I thought NFG was brilliant!

This book is my favorite so far of all that L. Loren has written. It's classy and sexy. She calls her style of writing LoveRotica. That means each story contains the element of love. The characters in Egyptian Nights are well defined and believable. Erotica is not my chosen genre, but I must challenge you as a reader to spread your own wings and try something different. I really enjoyed this book.

Egyptian Nights is also filled with humor that at times had me laughing out loud. Also, don't forget, Egypt and Harper's love affair does read like a fairy tale filled with fantasy elements. Remember, they are consenting adults and in love. The sex did make me blush, even though I don't consider myself to be a prude by any means. But, that's me. You'll have to judge the sex for yourself.

Yet, this intimate peek into Egypt's psyche plays a roll in the healing process of her coming to grips with her past. It is only through Harper's love that Egypt finally finds the courage to forgive her past and love herself. In true happily-ever-after fashion, this is a story that ends with a bang! Literally! I told you it was funny!

MY RATING:

Character Believability: 5
Flow and Pace: 5

TW: Book contains references to child abuse.

While I really enjoyed the life and sexy times of Egypt and Beckmann, NFG narrating the goodness really did it for me! She carries us through the drama (and this novel is chocked FULL of that!). The author has a unique gift of expressing what she coins her version of 'Loverotica'. The love scenes are sensual and raw. The story, connecting and wild!

If you enjoy erotic fairytales, grab this novel pronto!

This is the first time I am reading Loren's book and I loved it!!!

Egypt is sexually abused as a teen and when her mother finds out, things doesn't go as expected. Her mother blames her for everything that happened and her words of hatred changes Egypt. She doesn't do love and use men only for sex. When Harper walks in her restaurant the immediate attraction between them and the high sexual tension between them ignites sparks. When one night isn't enough, Egypt finds herself drawn to Harper in more ways than one. She struggles to come to terms with her set of rules, that she continues to break where Harper was involved and she just got one more problem in the basket.

This book may start as an erotica, but there is more to Egypt and Harper. The prologue cracked me up and I fell in love with NFG immediately. I never came across an intro like this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The sex scenes were steamier, but hey... things happen between couples and you shouldn't judge them for that. ;)

When I started reading my initial assumption was that the story would deal with Egypt falling in love and struggling to cope with her past tragedy. However, the readers were loaded into an emotional roller coaster when Harper's nemesis show up and Egypt just happens to know him. What next? Trouble begins in paradise.

Be it the beginning where the young Egypt is abused or towards the end where she tries to handle the problem by herself, shows her selflessness. Egypt is a mature character and she proves it from time to time throughout the story. Harper is an interesting personality and it takes a while for the reader to understand him. That's mostly because the entire story is in Egypt's point of view.

It's an interesting read. It contains explicit sexual content and mentions of sexual abuse.

I live them! Beckman was the perfect man for Egypt. He broke through her walls and accepted her flaws and all. Can't wait for book 2.

This book was fun to write. I enjoyed creating NFG and all of her smart mouth quips. Egypt was a challenge because she is so different than any other character I have written so far. I loved that she was open sexually and saw the value of expressing herself through her sexuality. It was therapeutic for her even if it wasn't always the best choice. Beckmann was a dream lover. I truly enjoyed developing his character. I knew the two were destined for each other, but I still got giddy when Egypt finally let down her walls. Thanks for reading this story!

Perfect Amount of Love, Sex & Adventure

I gave this 5 stars because I couldn't stop reading it. I finished the book in one day. This tale of a triplet who endured a terrible hardship, and found herself thrust into love and accepting it while dealing with the skeletons of her past. The author did a wonderful job of character and plot development. I look forward to book 2.

Although I would love to leave a rave review as an A.R.C. member, the avid reader in me can not.  This novel was a let down for me. The fact that it was all over the place is only the tip of the iceberg.
The long prologue itself was an honest struggle to get through. There was so much going on in it that I forgot who and what the set up was about.
Egypt was a golden child in everybody's eyes then suffers sexual abuse and in that one instant her mother turns on her? This leaves me, the reader with questions mainly...  What did I miss?  Everybody loves her to now all of a sudden they can't stand her? There is a lot being said but almost none of it makes sense together going from the prologue to the second chapter. It's like this and that is happening with a lot of extra that doesn't have anything to really do with Egypt to boom 8yrs later just deal with it?
Pushing through this the story continues to unfold with Egypt's NFG. I'm a Twilight fan so I was excited about NFG and the character seems to be a very important additive. Unfortunately, I take issue with her serving no real purpose, at least not the purpose she's initially introduced for.
Though this is fantasy, there is a taste of reality in it and NFG did not truly fit because she served no real purpose.
I however stopped forcing myself to read after a rather distasteful event comes about where this sexually uninhibited but victimized woman who never dealt with troubles of the past decided to grin and bare her sexual soul to not just strangers but his friends of all people. Abuse is very serious and it feels disrespectful to true victims to have her speak callously about her sexually adventures knowing she still suffers from the effects of her abuse.
This book may have a great ending, but consider it the Tootsie Roll pop and me as the world. Unfortunately, I will never know.
I hate to say this, but I would not recommend this book. The potential is there the execution however says to let it die or some serious edits.

Very entertaining read

Smoking hot! I loved how the relationship developed between the two main characters. Egypt is so honest and unapologetic and i love that about her. Beckmann was so strong, patient, and understanding even though he has his own hang ups but they made it work. First time reading from this author, not the last!

Good

I like that this a redemption arch of sorts, it was good. I just didn't understand how Beckman, just brushed off his twins death like it was no big deal.... He just passed recently - surely he'd be in mourning???.
Also Egypt's melt down at the end was hyper dramatic, she just became a alcoholic overnight, then snapped out of it for the sake of the HEA? Hmmmm
