When I signed on to do stunts for Hollywood’s eagerly awaited war-thriller, I thought it would be like every other gig—go in, try not to get killed, and leave with a fat check and an adrenaline rush. This time? Not so much.

Mackenzie Patterson is the on-set expert. She knows topographical layouts, government lingo, speaks four languages, and is one of the best explosive disposal leaders the Air Force has ever seen, so she’s more than qualified.

She’s also the woman who turned my teenage heart to ash.

I can’t ignore the darkness that has appeared in her eyes, or the urge I have to take it away.

Quitting isn’t an option, but the more I see her, the more I want to make her mine. And that can never happen because our past is twisted with heartbreak, hate, and regret.

Every second I spend with her is a battle between holding on to the anger in my heart—and giving in to the love that never left.

I can’t rave enough about this series! It is full of action and adventure, swoon-worthy men and friendships that are more like family. I have LOVED each and every book in the Love on the Edge series, but this one BLEW. ME. AWAY. These books are so unique and original, each one focusing on a new and dangerous career that takes the characters on epic journeys of self discovery and love.

Molly E. Lee’s writing is just as phenomenal as in the previous books! Each page was dripping with passion and emotion, pulling me in from page one and never letting go. This book definitely dealt with a difficult subject, pulling at my heart strings and making me have all the FEELS! Reading about the experiences that the military has to endure and the repercussions they must face after they are home was heart-breaking. The portrayal of PTSD was so realistic, making me feel like I was experiencing the fear and hopelessness right along with the characters.

I never read the synopsis when I went into this book, but I was super surprised when I learned that the leading lady, Mackenzie, was in the military defusing bombs overseas. Her character was dynamic, broken, independent and completely bad a**. I liked that she went after what she wanted and was extremely smart. She might even be my new favorite female protagonist from this series! And of course Wade was perfection! Readers were introduced to the funny, charismatic, full-of-life character that we all came to know and love as Wade in Edge of Brotherhood. I LOVED that in this book, Wade's softer, sweeter side was on full display. I didn't think it was possible, but he made me love his character even more!

I LOVED the romance in this book! I am usually not one for second chance romances, but this one was amazing. For once in a book, I was glad that it was not the women trying to save the man, but the other way around. I loved that Wade became Mackenzie's safe place, comforting and protecting her. And their chemistry was AMAZING! I am really keeping my fingers crossed that their story is continued in future books.

If you like contemporary romance, but are getting tired of the boring stereotypical story lines, I would HIGHLY recommend picking up the books in this series. Most of the books can be read as standalones, but I recommend starting from the beginning and reading them in order to truly fall in love with each couple. But be prepared to not get much sleep because each one is addicting and full of action!

Holy smokes. You guys. This book.

THIS
BOOK

Wow. This series is incredible. I'm actually dumbfounded right now. With each progressive book, the emotions became deeper, heavier. I didn't think that anything was going to beat Depth of Salvation but Lee blew it out of the water with this one.

You want a beautiful military romance? BUY THIS. Unbelievable. Unforgettable. Unregretable.

Molly E. Lee never fails to take her readers to the Edge with her exceptionally adventurous stories, tough leading ladies, and her brave male leads. We couldn’t wait to read more about Wade after reading about him in Edge of Brotherhood in April. Molly fed us bits of mystery about his past and left us dying to know him better. Luckily, Molly writes quickly and didn’t leave us hanging for too long.

Wade Roberts was the hunky and hilarious stuntman that joined our favorite guys from Molly’s previous books in the new E.D.G.E television show. I think all of Molly’s readers instantly fell for Wade’s sense of humor and haunted past.

We catch up with Wade in Edge of Retreat as he is jumping out of a plane and landing on the set of a movie, when he comes face to face with a literal blast from the past. His ex, Mackenzie, EOD technician for the Air Force and on site expert for the film Wade is working on as a stuntman, is there to greet him after years away. Wade is blown away when he sees Mackenzie for the first time since she broke things off with him to enter the Air Force. One thing Mackenzie can’t diffuse are her feelings for Wade, despite her guilt for suddenly ending things before her first deployment.

As a devoted fan of Molly’s books, I’m always eager to see what adventurous career her characters will have. I was not in the least bit disappointed with the stuntman/military combination within the pages. It allowed for double the action and led us through a completely new story-line we had yet to experience with the Edge Series.

The only downfall of this story for me was the predictability of the ending. This could be because I know what to expect of Molly’s books or because I’m a good guesser. 😉 I’m hoping in the next book we will see an unexpected plot twist to add to the excitement of the series.

I’m anxious to see where Molly will take us next. We’re guessing we just may be headed for adventure with the funder of the E.D.G.E series, billionaire, Casey Williams. Be sure to pick up the first book of the series, Edge of Chaos, if you’ve yet to experience the rush of storm chasing with Blake and Dash. We are big fans of this series, and would love for you to share in the goodness as well!

After buddy-reading Edge of Brotherhood back in April, my buddy and I both couldn’t wait to get our fingers on Wade’s story. There he was funny, edgy, brave but also a little mysterious and serious. His behavior in the Amazon jungle definitely made me want to get to know him and his story better. Last week, we were finally approved for an ARC of Edge of Regret and we both dived straight into another buddy-read. Yay!

I’m pretty sure that most of the people who have read Edge of Brotherhood, also read the prologue of Edge of Regret at the end of the book. Well, I didn’t. That’s why I was really surprised to learn that Mackenzie joined the military. I know that Wade mentioned something like this during his time in the jungle but I either totally forgot or I didn’t think too much of it. Either way, Mackenzie is in the military and she has one heck of an interesting and difficult, but mostly dangerous job – you go girl! I really like military themed novels (I have read a few in the past) and I really enjoyed this aspect in Edge of Regret.

Wade and Mackenzie (which is a really pretty name, btw) don’t have too many fond memories of their last encounter together. The lives they spent separate from one another were also far from sunshine and rainbows: they were full of regret, wrong decisions and even more what ifs. I really enjoyed the way Molly revealed those dark parts of their lives bit by bit to the reader.

When Molly announced Wade’s book, I was not only looking forward to learn more about his past life, I was also looking forward to learn more about his profession as a stuntman. Although this novel had plenty of stuntman related scenes, the focus was primary on Mackenzie and her duty in the military. Since this was Wade’s book I wished Molly would’ve focused more on Wade and a little less on Mackenzie.

This novel was a worthy follow-up to all the previous ones. It was funny, suspenseful, action-packed and full of love and heartbreak.

Edge of Regret reminds me exactly why I originally fell in love with Molly E Lee’s storytelling! In Edge of Regret we finally get to meet the mysterious girl who won Wade’s heart. Having fell hopelessly in love with this witty, charmer in Edge of Brotherhood I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Wade’s story. Lee doesn’t disappoint in the slightest with this action packed romance.

Wade Roberts lives life in the fast lane. Whether it's pushing himself out of an airplane or pushing himself to the limits, he has made it a point to feel that rush of adrenaline to keep his heart from missing his one true love Mackenzie. Mackenzie left to join the EOD bomb squad because she felt called to use her brains and abilities to serve her country. Recently back stateside, Mackenzie and Wade find themselves living on the edge together once again. Only can their hearts survive?

Lee’s concept of Living Life on the Edge has continued to astound me with each Edge novel she delivers. You don’t have to read any of them in order, however they each have that specific thrill ride journey of love that she promised to deliver her readers. Edge Of Chaos, Lee’s first book in this series has always been a personal favorite of mine, however after being able to read Edge of Regret, I can say Lee has given me a dilemma! Edge of Regret is filled with life on the edge but also with love, passion, second chances, and hope. I can’t wait to see what next Edge man Lee has in store for us or the wild journey she’ll take us on.

This was absolutely amazing!!! It was raw, heartrending, painful. A real emotional read that touched me deeply.

Edge of Regret outshone all the other books in this series. I mean, I loved Dash and the rest of the crew but Wade and Mackenzie's story topped all the others.

This story broke my heart a few times and I'm a sucker for emotional reads but I'm glad that my heart got glued back together again at the end.
“I've got you”

The Story:
Wade couldn't believe she was here, working on the same movie-set as him; after all those years and everything that had happened. He is torn between wanting her and keeping his distance because he knows she was not OK and he wanted to help her but he also knows that after having his heart broken by her once, he won't survive getting crushed yet again. He tries to keep his distance but it's a lot harder than he thought. Especially since she obviously needs him and he was the only one who can bring her comfort.
'The panic in her blue-gray eyes, the cracked humming of that song, the way she shook against me when I'd scooped her up...'

Mackenzie would rather do what she does best, defusing bombs and whatnot but her commander won't let her back into the field yet. So here she is, on a movie-set helping the actor get into his character and through all the motions that come naturally to her. How hard can it be to get this over with until she's able to get back to her real job? Sadly, what happened overseas had such a powerful impact, she's not sure on how to get a grip on things, but she hopes that Wade can help her forget, even when it's just for a few moments.
'I was both desperate for the security that was him to be real, and desperate for this all to be just another nightmare I'd wake up from tomorrow.'

Thoughts:
This book!! Wow!!! I highlighted almost the whole book *haha*

It's just so hard to explain my feelings right now. My thoughts are such a mess, but in simple words, I absolutely LOVED this book! This is without a doubt Molly's best book yet and I can't wait for the next ones.

The author really knows how to keep the reader's attention. I couldn't put the book down since I was sucked into the story from the very beginning and it didn't let me go until I finished it. Now I wish I could read it again for the first time but I know that I will love it even more the second time around.

So, while most of you knew Wade already from Edge of Brotherhood, he was new to me, because I haven't gotten to reading it yet *goes to hide in shame*. Anyway, it's not like this was my first or last book from this author. I love her books and I will certainly catch up on the few titles that are already waiting on my kindle.

I loved Wade, I really did. He was an amazing character. Strong, loyal, someone to hold on to, caring, funny, but not without faults. He made me laugh but he also showed his soft side and brought me to tears. Oh god, even thinking about some of the stuff in this book instantly wets my eyes. *dabbing the corners of my eyes with a tissue*

To be honest, Mackenzie was such a strong and amazing female character, she almost outshone Wade despite the storm cloud above her head. I rarely like female lead characters as they often tend to be full of themselves but Molly E. Lee's characters never have that negative vibe. They're all incredible and I wish to be at least half as strong as them. As nice as it is when the guy saves the day, it's empowering to save yourself from time to time and be independent and not depend on the knight in shining armor.
'My eyes settled on his, and I sighed. It was like I hadn't been breathing normally for years.'

This book was slightly different to the other Edge books as it's not as characteristically adventurous but nonetheless action-packed and suspenseful with lots of heartrending scenes that made me fall harder for the characters and their story.

Molly E. Lee outdid herself with this book! It' a must-read and highly recommended! You really don't want to miss this!!

I received an ARC of Edge of Regret in exchange for an honest review.

We meet Wade Roberts in Edge Of Brotherhood and the moment I met the cocky, no fear alpha I wanted - no, needed, - to know him. I needed to know his story because behind the his cocky, joker exterior he's a man with a broken, shredded heart.

I wasn't disappointed.

Molly tore up my heart with just the prologue (the prologue I avoided at the end of Edge Of Brotherhood because I knew Wade's book wasn't here yet.) and I wanted nothing more than to jump into my kindle and make everything better.

Once upon a time ago, these two hearts and souls were whole, together, melded. Almost unbreakable. But Mackenzie's decision to end the relationship so she can join the forces broke them.

Over time, they settled with their pain. Then Tragedy strikes, breaking two broken people even more than before.

It was destiny for them to meet each other again.

They lived with regret.

Their love never died.

And somewhere along the way their broken hearts fixed back together again and they became one.

This is a story about being on the edge, living with regrets and loving fiercely.

"I've got you."

Wade may have Mackenzie, but he's got me too. I wish I could give this book more than 5 shiny gold stars as it's worth so much more than that. This whole series is.

Molly E. Lee has quickly, vastly, massively became one of my top authors.

*This book can be read as a standalone but to get the whole 'on the edge' feel of the series start with book one, Edge Of Chaos. I promise you won't regret it.* <--- See what I did there? ;)

I loved this book! It was so emotionally raw and wasn’t anything like I was expecting! This was my first Molly E. Lee book and I have definitely found a new 1-click author.

While this is book 7 in the Love on the Edge series, it stands alone very well. I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything big with the plot or the characters. All it did was leave me wanting more and to go back and start the series from the beginning. The prologue absolutely gutted me. I was surprised at the role reversal. Most stories the boy leaves the girl behind this story was a role reversal and I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it.

We all know I’m a sucker for second chance romances but adding the military bit completely had me suckered in. I have never read a book where the female lead is in the service and it did not let me down. I love Mackenzie’s strong personality and how it matches up so well with how strong and protective Wade is.

Mackenzie and Wade’s relationship was everything. The story was action packed with lots of romance, and dash of drama. They are both broken and have lost a lot. Can they help to fix each other and gain back even just a little of what they lost?

Please excuse me while I head out and get the previous 6 books in this series! I truly enjoyed Molly’s writing and I am hoping the next book we get is for Casey Williams, aka Suit.

Grateful to have received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

That's it.
Edge of Regret is Molly's best work to date! My favorite among all her books so far too. And it's got two things in books that I absolutely LOVE: second chance and military.

I was eager to read Wade's book since I met him in Edge of Brotherhood, and I was sucked in deep into the story within the prologue. It's still action-packed and the anticipation in reading each page was real. It's unputdowanble. I want to shout it to the world of how much I enjoyed reading Mackenzie and Wade's story and that it's a really good read. Molly has once again outdone herself!

As conclusion, I just want to say: YOU. NEED. THIS. BOOK.

Wade & Mackenzie ❤

Wade the  stuntman!
Mackenzie the EOD bomb diffuser for the Air Force.

Wade & Mackenzie meet when they were 8 years old. Wade found her when she was lost & has never let her go. They spent many years together... until Mackenzie decided to join the Air Force after high school. Then she broke his heart. 10 years later they run into each other on a movie set, of a military based movie.

What will happen from there? You've gotta read it to find out 😉. But I will say, Molly does not disappoint.  Her Edge books are amazing! Some of my very favorites!

When I heard that there was another Love on the Edge book I couldn't wait to Wade in. She what I did there? Ok now that is out the way let me tell you the story of wade and Mackenzie.

Wade was born into a military family and that was the path he was supposed to take. He wanted to make money and start a life with his girlfriend Mackenzie. Wade loved her and she was the world to him. Till one day his world dropped out from under him.

Mackenzie was rooted in everything Wade. She was at the pivotal moment in her life where she had to decide a future and it wasn't the one her parents had plans for. Decisions were made and hearts were broken. She decides to start a military career.

I truly enjoyed this book. It was at times heart breaking to see the trauma Mackenzie went through with her team. Wade tried all he could to cope with the loss of his heart and his family drama. He found a family in the EDGE team. This book was fast paced but oh the steamy times between Wade and Mackenzie made you break out a fan. I absolutely adore this series. It's different, it's action packed and has so much heart. I hope we get a Casey story next. Hint hint.

What an incredible addition to the Love on the Edge series! Definitely the best to date. Molly E Lee's writing continues to get better and better. This book hit everything I wanted in a book. Perfect combination of hot and sweet romance. Humor. Hit-me-in-the-gut emotions. Shock. And full chapters that kept me on the edge of my seat. Pretty sure Wade just took Connell's spot as my favorite E.D.G.E man!

Edge of Regret Review

This book can be read as a standalone book, but you’ll really understand more about the characters if you read the entire Love on the Edge series. And I promise that you won’t be disappointed. I read the first book, Edge of Chaos, a while back, when I first began writing book reviews. But I got distracted by other things. And then I got to meet Molly at RT and she was just so sweet and articulate that I knew I had to re-read it. So I did. And then I binge read the entire rest of the series in 2 days! Yes, it was just THAT good! So I was really, really looking forward to this book.

We first meet Wade Roberts in Edge of Brotherhood. He’s the stuntman for the EDGE crew. He seems a bit rough around the edges and crass at first, but as the story progresses we see there’s a lot more to him and why he attempts to come across as shallow. What he really is, is hiding a truly shattered heart. And then comes Edge of Regret and we get his backstory. Wade is a tough as nails guy who never really got over his first love as a young man. He’s tried. But there was a time he thought she had hooked up with his brother and that’s when he developed his daredevil attitude and actions, trying to convince himself and everyone else he’s not overwhelmed with hurt and anger. Edge of Regret picks up with Wade and Mackenzie meeting on the set of a movie where she’s the military expert helping to make the movie more realistic. It’s apparent almost instantly that neither of them ever got over the other. But now they are older and there’s more hurt, more anger and more adult issues to work through.

This book really spoke to me. Especially the issue of PTSD with our military members. Molly approached this difficult subject in a very matter of fact, non judgmental way and most importantly, with compassion. Despite his definite alpha tendencies and seemingly flippant view of life (totally hiding the true depths that is this swoon worthy man!) he is so very compassionate with Mackenzie. They share this love that grew over time despite huge distances, huge misunderstandings and huge hurts. And I think my favorite part of Mackenzie was that even though she felt she was this broken person, she was still so strong…despite not recognizing that in herself most of the book.

My husband was active duty Air Force until almost 3 years ago but it’s still hard for me to read war accounts… especially ones that are so very real. And this was hard to read at times. But at the same time I think this is a huge compliment to Molly’s talent because, as hard as it was to read emotionally, I didn’t want to STOP reading!

If I say any more there’s going to be too many true spoilers and I hate spoiling great books for potential readers so I’ll stop here. I definitely give this a 5 star rating and I’m telling you that you NEED some Wade in your life!

Molly E Lee continues to show her writing and storytelling talent throughout every book I’ve ever read of hers. She truly has a way with words and I cannot say that enough. The way that she lets you be in every breath of her words, the way that she makes her story so adventurous and invigorating and visit and real is nothing short of everything. Combine that with love stories that are epic and adventurous and just absolutely incredible, and you have some of the most unique love stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.

This book was no different and honestly I think it might be my favorite of the series.

What Wade and Mackenzie share together is so deeply felt. They’ve both been through a lot, they have both lost a lot, and this book pushes them back together again. It forces them to face the past, while also fighting like hell for that chance at a future together. I absolutely treasured getting to see everything with them as they fought like hell for that second chance together. They put their hearts on the line, they felt at all, and they just lived every breath of it.

This is definitely probably the most emotional of all of these books and I was here for every second of it. I love that this author really developed those emotions and feelings with these characters. She really showed that they felt a lot. She definitely showed that there was so much between them and I loved that. It allowed me to connect so deeply and truly with why her characters are feeling and sharing together and it made for an incredible read. I truly cannot say that enough!

Wade and Mackenzie definitely don’t have an easy road ahead of them in this book, but they will show you that they are beyond worth it. They will also make you smile and blush something fierce, so buckle up for one hell of a ride. I loved every moment of being back in this world and getting to be back with all of the characters that make the dynamics and relationships and friendships of this world what they are was absolute perfection. I smile and melted and just love every second of this book. I really cannot say that enough. It truly gave me everything I needed.

This was such a phenomenal conclusion to this world that I will never get enough of. Although I must say I hope that this is really not the end for the men of EDGE because I just want more. I want more of their antics and their adventures and their hearts and just their personalities and who they are. I want more of it all. This author has made me fall so wholeheartedly in love with everything she’s created and I truly cannot say that enough.

I really can’t.

If you are looking for a romance that is epic, that is adventurous, that is deeply felt, and that will keep you on the edge through it all, then run yourself to this book and this series right this second. You will not regret it, not one little bit. I promise you that!

From the first chapter until the epilogue, this book had me at the edge of my seat. I didn't want it to end and it had me on an emotional roller coaster that I didn't want to get off of.
Ms. Lee has my upmost respect for writing about a female military hero. This is the first of its kind that I have come across.
MacKenzie is an EOD specialist. She diffuses bombs. And she's very good at it. Her family was disappointed that she didn't go to college after high school, but it's what she loves to do. Wade, her boyfriend is devastated that she has devoted her life to the military. After almost ten years, she has seen too much. Her commander puts her on medical leave and sends her to consult on a movie set.
Wade has had to see his brother enlist and follow the dreams of his military family. He knows without a doubt that he will never be able to enlist. That puts him in a bad position with the family. He was thrilled to take MacKenzie away after high school and get married. She crushed him with a double whammy, her enlistment and her breaking up with him. He gets involved with a group of guys that get their own reality show, then he gets noticed as a stunt man. When MacKenzie shows up on set, he is relieved, pissed, and head over heels again.
I loved how Wade is her center. She is having a difficult time dealing with having lost both members of her team due to things that she blames herself for. It makes it harder that one of her team was Chance, Wade's brother. She still feels the need to go back and continue the work that she was trained to do. But with her flashbacks, she knows she has to keep that a secret. Since Wade has invaded her existence he notices her spells. He encourages her to come clean. She won't give up on saving more lives by going back.
Of course Wade has some issues that he has to come to terms with. Most importantly, that Chance has been with MacKenzie and had asked if Wade would mind if they dated. That didn't go over to well and put a rift between the brothers that could never be mended. He also has to deal with the fact that MacKenzie has the need to serve her country. He can't get past that he would be second.
The relationship is so precious. They support each other through the years without concously doing it. she sings a song that he sang to her all while they were growing up every time she needs to concentrate on diffusing bombs. He sees her while he's at peace sky diving. They are truly destined to be together for a lifetime.

5 MY WADE is my man stars!!

ARC Generously Provided by the Author

This is the seventh book in the Love on the Edge series by Molly Lee, and I have been waiting so much for this book, because we met Wade in Edge of Brotherhood and since I read him in that book I fell in love with him! And I have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH Molly because you wrote an amazing and beautiful story for my favorite man!!

In this book we know more about Wade past and we meet Mackenzie the girl who stole his heart when he was a kid, but for life circumstances they couldn’t be together forever. Mackenzie story is really difficult and I can understand why she changed and she isn’t anymore the girl that Wade use to known, but for his heart this doesn’t matter.

This is a beautiful story where both main characters are stronger and have really difficult jobs, Mackenzie has suffered so much because in her job really bad things had happened and she is trying to recover for that, but she isn’t success in that, or at least that is what she think until she sees Wade again, and she start to feel like she can live again and that he is the person who can help her.

They tried to start like a friends, but they are honest with their feelings and they don’t want a simple friendship they want and need more!... this doesn’t happen so easy, because they are some things that happened in their past ( or at least that’s what they think) that make them doubt about start a relationship again. But they will learn that at the end no matter what love is the most important thing in the world.

I LOVE how the storyline is carried out, and they have to pass for really difficult situations to believe in their relationship…. And of course when Wade thinks everything is wrong one of his “Edge Brothers” appears to make him see the things from another perspective.

So yes this book has adventure (helloo Wade and Mackenzie jobs aren’t something easy), but I think is a little different that the other ones, but I LOVE that, I feel that this change is perfect for Wade’s story, and of course has a lot of romance and some drama. Definitely if you love Molly’s books you need to read this one is amazing and my FAVORITE so far!!!

Congratulations Molly!!! I’m pretty sure this book will be a success! Can’t wait to know more about our Edge boys!!!

*whoooooosaaa*

Take a deep breath with me people. Super deep. *in deep, out long* And repeat ....

This book ripped me to shreds. No pun intended. I swear Molly reached into my chest cavity and pulled out my beating heart a la Temple of Doom.

I have loved all of the EDGE books. I love series so much that I actually have FAVORITES.

ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH WADE AND MACKENZIE. Sorry Dash and Blake. Sorry Easton and Rain. Sorry Sadie and Connell. Sorry Justin and Charlie. So. Freaking. Sorry.

Right from the beginning, Molly tugs at your heart with the way the prologue ends. Then, when Wade and Mackenzie are pushed back together, instant spark. Instant all the things. Molly just does such an excellent job of making you feel what her characters are experiencing.

Having read many books that deal with what Mackenzie is going through via the male POV, it was infinitely refreshing to read it through her eyes. Her emotions. Her fears. Her general well-being were so easy to relate to even if you haven't gone through what she has. (sorry that's vague but I don't do spoilers y'all!)

And Wade. #WadeWaited He knew what he wanted. He knew that she was it for him. He knew that he had to let her go and do what she wanted to do even if he was opposed to the idea. He did what he had to do to make sure she was happy. Supportive and always there even when years and thousands of miles separated them. #WadeisPatient

Once again, Molly wrote her heart out. Once again, this girl loved every single word.

FIVE HUGE STARS

There is nothing worse than regret. That is what Wade Roberts has lived with for the past ten years. Regret for letting the girl of his dream walk away from him. Regret for not telling her that he would wait for her no matter what. When she shows up back in his life unexpectedly ten years later, he isn't sure what he wants anymore. Can he forgive her for leaving him all those years ago? Can he let go of the past and move forward together? The only thing he does know is that he loves her. He never once stopped.

Mackenzie Patterson is not the same girl she was when she left Wade. The things that she has gone through have changed her. She struggles to get past the darkness that is surrounding her. Her one safe place is Wade. She can't seem to forgive herself for the events that happened after she left.

Together Wade and Mackenzie try to put the past behind and move forward, but will their love be enough to overcome the sense of duty that drove Mackenzie away ten years ago?

Molly E. Lee did an amazing job creating this story full of emotion and passion. Wade and Mackenzie have never loved anyone but each other, however life has forced them in different directions. Mackenzie is suffers from PTSD. Wade has spent years mourning the loss of those closet to him. Molly's vivid description of what Mackenzie and Wade have to go through in order to make it through each day endears you to her characters. They both have their issues but still try to make a life together.

Edge of Regret is probably one of the best books in the Love on the Edge series. I could not put it down after I started reading it. Molly created another world so vivid that I couldn't help but want to get lost in it. Molly's writing gets better and better with each sequential story in the Love on the Edge series. I can't wait for the next book that she writes.

Even though this is the 7th book in the series, Edge of Regret can be read as a standalone. This is the first book that I've read in the series and I didn't feel that there was anything that happened in the other books that were referenced here that made me feel like I was missing something.

This is a second chance romance with Mackenzie Patterson as the one that left Wade Roberts for the military over 14 years ago. She is now one of the best explosives defusing experts in the Air Force. Wade Roberts moved on with his life to become a stuntman for Hollywood movies and also one of stars of the the EDGE series reality show.

Wade and Mackenzie meets on the new set of the movie that Wade is the stuntman for and Mackenzie is the military explosives expert. Their teenage love is too strong even though Wade had thought that Mackenzie had moved on with her life in the military. Mackenzie has always, and still loves Wade even though her decision to enter the military was the right thing for her to do.

Wade and Mackenzie explores their love while working on the movie set. The past comes back to haunt them and they both must decide if they can get over it. As they explore their feelings, Mackenzie is also dealing with the death of 2 of her fellow comrades and can't get over her guilt. Wade helps Mackenzie try to deal with her guilt while at the same time, wondering if they will have a future together.

I really enjoy this story since it's a little bit different from what I am used to reading. It also gives you some perspective on military life and dealing with PTSD. The rest of the series will be on my TBR!

Molly E. Lee has quickly become one of my favorite authors. She’s reinvented romance for me with her swoon-worthy males who aren't afraid to show how they feel for the leading ladies in their lives along with the amazing adventures her books take us on.

After reading Edge of Brotherhood, I couldn't wait to read Wade's story.  I already loved him and knew his story would be equally as amazing as Dash, Easton, and Connell, and I was not wrong.  In Edge of Regret, we meet Mackenzie, the girl who stole Wade's heart when he was only eleven years old. My heart broke for Wade as his plans for the future fell apart when after years of planning, Mackenzie decided to enlist in the Air Force and forcing Wade to leave her. After ten years apart neither Wade nor Mackenzie have gotten over each other and are once again brought together.
Those eyes said it all. Love, lust, and regret.

She didn't want to leave me- she had to.

I didn't want to let her go-but she needed me to.

"I've loved you since before I knew what that word meant, "I said, claiming her mouth so hard she gasped.

This story is different than what I've read before. The last ten years have not been easy on Mackenzie. She has suffered in ways not many can imagine and is trying to recover on her own. Sadly she isn't successful, but once Wade's back in her life, Mackenzie starts to feel like the woman she once was, and he's the only one who can help her.
Everything in my sould was made to help her, regardless if she was mine or not, or if we hadn't spoke in years. It didn't matter. I couldn't change it, couldn't deny it, and didn't want to.

In the beginning, it's not easy for either Wade or Mackenzie. They have conflicting emotions keeping them apart and only friends, but how to you only stay friends with someone you've loved since you were a child?

Will Mackenzie let go and let Wade help her? Will she finally get better only to return back to her job that will take her away once again with the possibility that she might not come back?
"I want to give you everything, Wade. Do you know that? I just... I don't have a choice. Let me love you..." She closed her eyes, her forehead against mine before kissing me. "Love me," she said, her kiss turning frantic again. "Forgive me."

Even though this book is different than Molly's previous books, it's equally as amazing, and it's perfect for Wade's story.  I loved it and fell more in love with Wade.  It's chalked full of danger, humor, romance, adventure, and excitement.  I can't wait to read more of the series and the E.D.G.E boys.  I think Casey needs his own story. :)
I'd moved on, and yet my heart still clung to the hope that one day she'd return to me and we'd live out the happily ever after I'd planned for us years ago.

After getting a taste of Wade in Edge of Brotherhood, I was eager to get inside his head some more and see him get his own HEA. And lemme tell you, he is just as tasty as I had hoped! :)

Suffice it to say, I really adored Wade. He is that jokester with a bit of sarcasm... with a heart of pure gold. Bonus points for his love of the band Queen, since I'm also a pretty big fan!! Wade is a badass stuntman for Hollywood and is excited to work on a contemporary military/war action movie after finishing up with the project with his EDGE brothers. He is expecting to enjoy himself... but he isn't expecting the girl who grabbed his teenage heart and ran off to the Air Force with it!

Mackenzie, aformentioned heart-grabber, is consulting on the movie and is just as shocked as Wade is to see him again. It's been 10 years and 3 deployments to the Middle East since she joined up and left him behind. I really felt for her, as she struggled with the guilt of losing close members of her team while deployed, including Wade's older brother. She is stubborn and tries to be strong, which I could identify with. It was harder to relate to her at times though, since she constantly downplayed or outright lied about her PTSD, which made me want to shake some sense into her. I also didn't feel as though she brought quite as much to the table in her relationship with Wade, or that she necessarily helped make him a better version of himself. He did that for her, but she kept running away and toying with him (including asking him to make love to her "just one more time" as she broke his heart into pieces... Seemed very selfish to me!).

That also plays into something that happens to Wade further into the story while on set and dealing with the movie's lead actor. Perhaps I just really liked Wade that much though, haha.

All in all, this is another awesome addition to an already fantastic series! There are flashbacks to fill in what happened to Wade and Mackenzie while they were apart that I found fascinating and very well-written, and the chemistry and love between these two is undeniable!

A second chance romance unlike any other!!

Wade Roberts is the stunt - double for Hollywood's latest million dollars action thriller. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity and he is sure he'll nail it like all his other jobs. What he didn't anticipate was the love of his life working on the same film. The same woman who left him behind to never look back, the one who broke his heart to pieces. The problem is he's still in love with her but he also knows he cannot go through the same heart break all over again.

Mackenzie Patterson's dreams cost her everything, from the love of her life to her entire team. Her nights are filled with nightmares about her teams' death and her days racked with guilt. Getting through each day is a hardship but she's trying. Seeing the pain on Wade's face everyday doesn't help her situation. Avoiding him is not an option not when he's the only one keeping her sane.

This was my first book by Molly Lee and God what a great story. I LOVE action thrillers mixed with romance and this book was the perfect mix of both. My heart broke for Wade and Mackenzie. All the heart break and pain just made me want to cry and hug these two.

Wade And Mackenzie were absolute badasses. Such strong characters with exceptional development. They were strong people who didn't let anything break them. They saved each other made made the other whole. TOO MANY FEELING! I adore this story and now I'm a Molly E Lee fan FOR LIFE.

After reading the entire Edge of Love series, Wade's story has become on of my favorites. (Connell is still my man though ;) But Wade is a very close second!) I'd been looking forward to this story since we got a excerpt at the end of Edge of Brotherhood for it, and I knew Wade's story was going to be a heart breaker!

This story had so many emotions playing throughout it. One minute I'd be happy and laughing at a scene, next minute I'd be cursing at my kindle and fuming mad, then the next minute I'd be heartbroken. I went through all the emotions with this book.

We finally get to see Wade's backstory that was hinted at in Edge of Brotherhood, and it just wrecked me when we find out what happened between him and his brother. Mackenzie was pretty much a badass. She's in the Air Force as an EOD (she diffuses and disposes of bombs), and now she has been sent to be the military expert on the movie set that Wade is working on.

One of the things I really love about Molly's books is the way that all her female characters a strong, and brave, and they completely kick ass! They can keep up with their men and the guys know it and acknowledge it. They know their women are strong and are proud of that.

I can't wait for the next book in this series! (And PLEASE let it be about Casey! He needs his own book!)

This series has quickly become one of my favorites. I love the element of the action packed adventure with the love story. Dash from Edge of Chaos has been my favorite leading man for a while, but Wade has stolen my heart. We met Wade in Edge of Brotherhood and I loved the cocky stunt man and I knew that he had a story to tell. Going into the story we have seen one side of Wade, this story shows us the other side of him. The vulnerable man who was left behind. Mackenzie was his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. They had big plans for after graduation and then Mackenzie changed the game. She left him and joined the service. When Wade and Mackenzie meet back up on a movie set, the sparks fly and the love that never died resurfaces.

The thing that drew me to this story was that the roles were reversed. So many of the stories that I have read, the guy leaves the girl behind and resurfaces broken. Mackenzie has experienced things she can't share with Wade and suffers from her experiences. I've never read a story where the woman has the issues that Mackenzie has. It drew me to the story and it was different. Mackenzie is so broken, but one thing that hasn't changed is her love for Wade. I couldn't put this story down and completely fell in love with Wade as he pieced Mackenzie back together. Great read!
