In book seven of the Tales of Sasha series, Sasha, Wyatt, and Kimani travel to the royal island of flying horses!
Sasha, Kimani, and Wyatt are flying to the island of royal flying horses where the King and Queen are waiting to meet Sasha! The journey is going well until a powerful storm forces them to take shelter on a small island until the next morning. But the King and Queen will be the royal island in a few hours, and the trio is off course and without their map! Will Sasha find a way to get to the island before the King and Queen leave?
I could just copy/paste my reviews from the rest of the series. They're on the way to the royal island, but the book ends before they really get there and get a satisfying ending. SUPER fast and a decent segment.
We've read the first book in the series and my daughter purchased this in her school's used book sale. In this title Sasha is supposed to travel to meet her biological parents for the first time. She has several misadventures along the way and almost doesn't get there. I have to admit when she finally meets her parents I was a bit disappointed in their reasoning for giving her up. Then they tell her she's still too young to come with them on their travels to help other horses, and instead give her the huge job of trying to bring the flying horses and non flying horses together as friends.
Sasha and her friends Kimani and Wyatt have a tricky and somewhat dangerous journey to try and find the royal island. They are not too sure where to go, they get caught in a terrible storm, the plant pixies who are helping carry Wyatt in the sky must leave. This book has a lot of twists and turns and is very fun!
In this book, some new characters emerge as well as methods of traveling. Sasha gets to realize one of her dreams even if it's only briefly, and the book finishes with her taking on a new responsibility. I wish all of the illustrations were as colorful as the front cover.
