Fascinating, well-illustrated look into the working habits of 21 well-known comic book artists. By asking similar questions of each of them, we get a view into the creative process and how it is both similar and different for each of them. Lavishly illustrated with pictures of the artist's work spaces an sample cover and interior (comic book covers and interiors) and occassionally some additional work an artist has done for other reasons, such as album covers. The artists listed do fabulous work and book was fun to read and to take in visually. Well done!

A seemingly random --- but in many cases, stellar --- collection of comic book artists, their studios and their work. Mildly interesting, but nothing special, and a bit repetitious in places. Nicely designed.

If Goodreads had a a half point system, I would go to 3.5.

Mildly interesting, but nothing to write home (or a book) about. If you can get it cheap ($5) like I did, it's worth it to look at pictures of artwork and the artists' studios.
